And price are a little higher than the more suburban pharmacies, but I guess you can't complain when the location and opening hours probably make that necessary.

The chemist behind the counter is quite helpful, recommending what medication and products to take over others. Hickey's stocks basic cosmetic and beauty products so if you need hair spray or concealer in a pinch, you can find it here. One more thing worth mentioning is that it has a digital photo machine that prints and does enlargements.

Since the price to purchase one was only slightly more than a weeklong rental, the choice was clear. After much looking around, we found the Murray website and were able to order a rollator over the phone and pick it up here. It was even on sale. When we went to pick it up, they pushed out a box. We tentatively asked if we needed to assemble it, and they very kindly opened the box, assembled it, and showed us how to adjust the height & fold it up. We even found some excellent Spenco shoe inserts here. Warm customer service, and reasonable prices!

Now, while pretty much everything in Ireland shuts up shop around the time I was remembering that scrip, Boots in Liffey Valley begged to differ. Sunday stragglers can stop in any time until 8pm and any prescription / shampoo / diet / overpriced bath gift set needs can be filled. Stellar stuff.

I wouldn't go for the perfumery selection, it's always the busiest/messiest part in here. Alongside the airport store, this is one of the best and most convenient Boots stores in Dublin. If you're near this area, my tip would be to skip the smaller and much more cramped Boots on Henry Street and come straight to this one, if you don't care to walk the extra distance.

I was here today because I couldn't find what I was looking for in Dunnes, so I checked boots and they had it. As for this store, it's well laid out. This Boots is better than the one on Grafton street, but only because it's got more space. They do have a great selection of all your usual pharmacy fare. It's bright and clean. Staff are generally friendly and very helpful. But as a rule, I try to shop in a supermarket or in your run of the mill chemist down the road, but as a last resort Boots is reliable

It has an interesting history and some pieces are original. standing today with the cabinets from the story still standing. This former pharmacy sells secondhand books & crafts. It was very crowded with all kinds of objects and only room for only about 5 people to stand. We learned from the shopkeeper that normally on the weekends the owner of the shop will play music. He just so happened to take his first holiday in over 3 years while we were there, so unfortunately we missed him. It was a great quick stop and if you time it right, it is worth peeking in for a visit.

Being a chain store, the stock in most Boots shops is roughly the same and they carry quality high street style cosmetics brands, plus the Boots own brand is decent quality. This branch is not designed in the most user friendly layout: tight aisles + full shelves + throngs of shopping bag laden customers = items (literally) flying off the shelves. But they have all the usual items if you can brave a bit of argy bargy in the aisles (which adds to the purchasing thrill for hardened shopaholics I am sure). At Christmas Boots really comes into it's own with innovative gifts and offers. Many's a quality Christmas gift has been exchanged between friends and family as a direct consequence of the Boots 3 for 2 offers. The advantage cards are good value and you can rack up the points quickly if you stay Boots loyal. And lets not forget Boots function as an actual prescription filling chemist shop. I have found the wait isn't too long in this branch and the staff are always helpful, despite being very busy.
