Twice I have come to him with undiagnosed rashes and irritations; he listens patiently and then mixes up a soothing unguent on a marble slab, wielding a spatula with swift and graceful strokes. The potion is then labelled and wrapped in a white paper parcel. His remedies are unfailingly effective, his manner kindly and sympathetic. A consultation costs €35 - cheaper than a GP, and a rare example of a modern day apothecary.

And price are a little higher than the more suburban pharmacies, but I guess you can't complain when the location and opening hours probably make that necessary.

Since the price to purchase one was only slightly more than a weeklong rental, the choice was clear. After much looking around, we found the Murray website and were able to order a rollator over the phone and pick it up here. It was even on sale. When we went to pick it up, they pushed out a box. We tentatively asked if we needed to assemble it, and they very kindly opened the box, assembled it, and showed us how to adjust the height & fold it up. It has an interesting history and some pieces are original. standing today with the cabinets from the story still standing. This former pharmacy sells secondhand books & crafts. It was very crowded with all kinds of objects and only room for only about 5 people to stand. We learned from the shopkeeper that normally on the weekends the owner of the shop will play music. He just so happened to take his first holiday in over 3 years while we were there, so unfortunately we missed him. It was a great quick stop and if you time it right, it is worth peeking in for a visit.

Bought a cold reliever for €7.35 when the price tag on the self said €5.99; didn't complain as it was only a few cents. The prices overall high and not worth the price. The selection here was pretty bare, with no signs of restock once the product had run out. Whole shelves were bare. The service here was very subpar. All the staff seemed stressed, and the till operator was very rude and loud. I understand the stress of working the holidays, but the rudeness was uncalled for. Additionally, there were staff standing around talking while others were working. Better places to go than here
