I once went here to get some hayfever tablets and got awhole history lesson on Inchicore/Kilmainham :-) Whilst you may get a far better choice in the more modern larger chemists, I still love to go in here. Open until 10pm you probably won't find a later opening pharmacy in the area, and because of it's location on O'Connell Street near O'Connell Bridge you would find yourself passing it reasonably often. Location brings other things too, like the constant feeling that the security people are going to jump you if you move too close to anything in the shop! And price are a little higher than the more suburban pharmacies, but I guess you can't complain when the location and opening hours probably make that necessary.

This place is great…read more It's one of the many pharmacies in Ballyfermot but there's quite a nice feel inside the place. The staff are excellent, very knowledgeable and always ready to help if you need anything. They have quite a good selection here from make-up to hair dye to vitamins and everything in between. You'll always find a good deal in here, be it on make up or vitamins or even jewelry, there's something for everyone. Their pharmacy is great, the pharmacists are very good at their job, they're respectful and pleasant to deal with. They have a security guard in the shop, which is quite comforting, I think.
