They have a good range of products but, as the…read moreshop is quite small, you will often need their help, so it is good that they are accommodating! They regularly have "20% off" days here, which applys to everything that is not medical care, i.e. prescriptions, as far as I know. My mum gets Vichy creams here, they keep a card for her as a log of the number of creams she buys and she gets a discount off her next buy when she has purchased x amount. This does not apply to the creams bought at the 20% discount days, but you can't have everything!! In particular, Sharon, who works the counter with the creams and makeup has been one of the nicest and accommodating sales assistants I have come across. She is friendly and, with my problem skin, she has given me many samples and advice on what I can do to improve my skin, thanks to her, I went from not being able to use any moisturiser or cleanser without a major skin reaction, to being able to try lots of different samples for my skin.

Open until 10pm you probably won't find a later opening pharmacy in the area, and because of it's location on O'Connell Street near O'Connell Bridge you would find yourself passing it reasonably often. Location brings other things too, like the constant feeling that the security people are going to jump you if you move too close to anything in the shop! And price are a little higher than the more suburban pharmacies, but I guess you can't complain when the location and opening hours probably make that necessary.

I once went here to get some hayfever tablets and got awhole history lesson on Inchicore/Kilmainham :-) Whilst you may get a far better choice in the more modern larger chemists, I still love to go in here. It is small and can get very busy at times.
