Very great shop inside the gas station. They worked on my 2020 accord and other cars in the past. I also own a bmw 750 li and these cars are very hard to work on. Most shops out here don't even want to touch them. I had to get my thermostat and radiator replaced one time because it busted on me while driving on the highway and overheated. It was night time I'd though I'd leave him a voicemail to have it towed there and unexpectedly he answered. It was after hours and he already left but he decided to come back and facilitate the tow. That makes me feel more comfortable with these guys. The next day they already made a game plan on how to fix it and gave me a very good price on the job. I was surprised. He didn't upsell me or made me buy anything that I didn't need. They also did a complimentary check while it was there to make sure I was safe on the road. Words can't describe how helpful these guys are. Every time I have a problem with my car I'd give him a call and he would direct me to the right direction. Good peeps out here. Cheers! read more

I drive a 2015 lexus is 250. I bought this car used and my steering wheel been making mysterious clicking noises for weeks and went to multiple shops and replaced over 4800 dollars worth of parts and none of the shops fixed the problem. I live in point Richmond area and decided to give them a try. I scheduled an appointment to have them diagnose the issue, within 30 minutes they found the problem. They kept my car for couple days because they had to order the part from dealer. They were prompt with every step from start to finish and at that point I was still thinking if that even fixed the problem. They ended up replacing a u joint, had me drive the car and made sure I was happy before I even paid.They also found some more issues during the test drive not related to the noises and mentioned it to me. My bottom cover was hanging (missing some clips)and my taillight bulb was burnt and they fixed all that without asking. Really surprised. Great people. Definitely coming back. My honda accord was making lots of noises while i brake and i didnt know what to do....and mizuki helped me out big time. Other shops I went to they wanted an arm and leg and told me I needed to replace other things that I didn't need to.. Other shops around here was trying to hustle me because I was a girl and I didn't know anything about cars. I came here got a diagnostic and mizuki replaced my brakes and rotors in less than 2 hours. Quick and pleasant staff, they seem direct and honest, my Berkeley car shop. I've made an appointment to have my car checked out and they were super prompt. I've taken my car here a number of times and they've always been very quick with jobs and have never tried to add unnecessary extras. I felt like they were being honest with me and cared about my return business. I recently had a head light replaced here and it got incredibly dim within a month. I took it back and they quickly found it was a connection problem, but replaced the bulb anyway just in case (no cost to me). Super nice people to work with. read more

As a student, I wanted to get an oil change done close to the UC Berkeley campus. I did some research and went in to Mizuki Auto with a book expecting to wait for at least 20 minutes or so for an oil change. To my surprise, it took only about 10 minutes and the price was reasonable. The service guy(Earl) was polite and quick to help. Getting an oil change has never been easier. They also do smog checks and tire rotations, definitely going back and recommend other students to bring their cars here. read more

I came in for a smog check on my 2007 Lexus just 10 minutes before closing time and the tech still smogged my car. I was in and out of that place in less than 15 minutes (like 12 minutes lol). He was fast and efficient. I also had him check my fluids on the car just to make sure everything was good and he did it for free. Saturday in Berkeley and found this place. They were surprisingly able to immediately help me out and fix the problem within 20 minutes even without seeing an obvious nail. They had to put the tire in water to see where bubbles formed and then find the small hole where the tire was slowly leaking. Glad to have them fixed so quickly and appreciated their polite and professional service.

When I dropped off my car, I was told it would be ready around 12:30-1:00 p.m. and that I'd receive a call when it was done. I decided to stick around the area. At 1:00 p.m., after waiting two hours, I walked back to check on the status and found that they hadn't even started working on my car. When I told them I was leaving, the employee suddenly asked if I could wait another 10-15 minutes because he could "start it now". So frustrating. My scheduled appointment meant absolutely nothing until I complained and I was not interested in a rushed oil change... If your business can't honor appointment times, don't offer appointments. Respect your customers' time. I would not recommend taking your business here. I certainly won't be back.

I could have answered him, but the utter stupidity of this scenario to belittle me, in the presence of his office staff, was enough to make me get up, take my car keys, and leave! Chris received a $17,000 estimate from the dealer to replace the entire system, which was pretty shocking. Instead of stopping there, he went above and beyond to find a specialized vendor who could repair the system, saving me an enormous amount of money. He also handled all the coordination with the vendor and oversaw getting everything reinstalled and working properly, which made the whole process seamless on my end. Throughout it all, Chris kept me informed every step of the way. His communication and follow-through were excellent, and I always felt taken care of.
