He listened to my description of the issue, and advised when he could look at my car. Pele is knowledgeable, warm and a good communicator. Caliber Collision suggested this place after I had my stolen catalytic converter replaced. I was far from home, so I didn't have any preferred mechanics or muffler shops close by. I was able to get in the same day and they had me out within the hour. At first they said 15 minutes, but there was a rattling noise and they wouldn't stop until they got it right. Apparently a clamp was causing the problem. Still super fast and friendly service. I got to talking with one of the workers there and he had such high praise for his boss Pele. He said he was an upstanding and honest guy that pays his workers well and treats the community well. You don't hear that often these days. I should add he also drives a really cool truck! This is a small location is tucked into the warehouse district between the freeway and the railroad, near the waste management site. It's not pretty to look at but the work they do is amazing, high quality, and hella friendly. read more

So my father-in-law car is always parked outside. There has been other catalytic converter thefts in the neighborhood. Seems to be the Prius, any SUV and Accords. So when I tried to search for a existing catalytic converter shield, none were made for the Camry, because they are not a major target. Called Pele and they said either they fit a shield or make a cage with rebar, which was basically the same cost. They don't take appointments, so first come first serve. They are only open during the week day, so I had a Friday off and then tried to be the first one there. Since I was the first on there and was able to get out in about 40 minutes. I watched them install the shield, and if required they will bend the sheet metal as required and then rivet the shield in place. Thus is service is required, the rivets will need to be drilled out. They allowed a quick inspection and answered any questions. Very professional and courteous. There is an outdoor seating area with chairs and one umbrella. I ended up reading a book while I waited. Credit cards accepted so it was an easy transaction. Highly recommended read more

Extremely rude owner And terrible customer service Came in to get my catalytic converter fixed after someone tried to steal it $200 later the light came back on and they refused to solve the issue I would not recommend coming here at all, especially if you are a woman When I called to ask about rechecking the weld hr immediately was defensive. I made a point to thank the guys who actually did the work, I don't question their work at all. It is the owner who was beyond rude and unnecessarily so. After being taken for a *ride* by my insurance after I got my catalytic converter stolen (and having issues with communication between them and other mechanics), Lagi not only assured me that my car could be fixed, but almost immediately sorted out my *insurance issues* by firmly but kindly communicating all the necessary info to the claims adjuster and their supervisor, who were up until that point (erroneously) insisting that they could only cover a fraction of the parts needed to fix my car.
