Friendly, quick, super easy to order on machine!! Everything had amazing prices!! The Matcha Ice Cream was delicious & only $1.69!! Peach Jasmine Tea was ok!! Bubble Tea was good!! They do take credit cards!! Line went by quick which was nice!! Ambiance was very chill as well!! I can't believe they have an option for 200% Sugar!!! WOW!!

IF what you are looking for is above average soft serve that's practically free. Go. If you are looking for high end nuanced flavors. Skip. I was surprised that the matcha was actually slightly strong, in a good way. Better than many that are 3x$

I was so excited to see this when I was in Chinatown but was disheartened by the long line. The two kiosks are way too close to the exit/door that it causes quite a traffic jam and makes it look way more crowded. Thankfully ordering didn't take long at all but what took the longest was just my soft serve. Eventually my friend saw people going directly up and mentioning their order number to get their order faster. Everything is really affordable and tasty so I do think it's worth a visit.

This is going to be my go to place for the summer to get some ice cream. The soft serve ice cream is only $1.19. It was good ice cream, and I like that the ice cream cone was not the cheap cones. They also have chocolate and matcha ice cream for $1.69. Mixue has flavor ice cream sundaes too. They have great affordable bubble tea as well. Service was fast even when it was crowded with people since this is a popular place. And there are sitting areas.

    Vanilla Soft Serve ($1.30)

Mainly came here for the soft serves at the Soho/Chinatown location but was told by staff that they'd run out of both flavors. Okay so fast forward to another day, I was relieved to see people holding ice cream cones at last. So, imagine my face suddenly lit up with joy because I would finally get to try the matcha today after failing twice in the past. Place looked packed towards the storefront as a small crowd had gathered here and there. Almost started turning to the opposite direction and wanting to leave as I thought to myself, maybe I should wait a bit to see how long of a wait it would actually be since I was already here anyway. After placing an order of matcha soft serve by the cashier in the front instead of at the kiosks (card only), I paid in cash for a total of $1.84 ($1.69 + 15¢ tax). Got my receipt in hand and now waiting for my # to be called any moment now. I looked up at the LED screen expecting to see my order ready for pickup (aka fast) just like the other 2 locations in Herald Square + Hell's Kitchen. But, it was still stuck as ready for pickup on the LED screen for the next 20 mins without my # being called. So, I finally went up to the counter to ask. Learned that once you do see your # under the "ready for pickup" section though, you should just go to the ice cream area and ask about your order. The staff would then dispense the ice cream for you right on the spot. Not gonna lie, this process could get a bit chaotic since all the staff looked overwhelmed with many orders backed up at the same time. The theme song was also getting really annoying playing repeatedly in the background. I really don't know how the staff is enduring it every moment. Two huge statues of the Snow King are inside, one by the entrance and one by the counter as the iconic mascot of the store. The Chinatown/Soho location is the biggest of them all with little round tables and seats on the side. Kiosks on the right as soon as you step in. A working restroom is also located all the way in the back for customers only. Matcha Soft Serve: Bit of matcha taste only and not enough imo. But, it's still pretty good for $1.84 total. Vanilla Soft Serve: Has hint of coconut taste. Smooth and creamy, no gap is found in the center. Great deal for $1.30 in total. Conclusion: Would prefer vanilla over matcha soft serve. Love stopping by Mixue whenever I'm in the Chinatown/Soho neighborhood.

This place just recently opened up and I noticed several locations are popping up fast all over New York City. This Chinatown location was really big and spacious. There were self kiosks to place your order apart from in person at the cashier. I placed my order with it and it went seamlessly smooth! The receipt goes to your phone so there was no worry about losing your receipt! I loved that about self kiosks! I came here a couple of times and my first purchase was a matcha soft serve ice cream cone! It was so good! The matcha tasted high quality for a very low price! I cannot believe that about this place! The horrible thing though is that the ice cream is always sold out by the end of the day! I guess it does make a little sense because you know they are selling out and they make fresh ice cream the following day. I got some thirst tea quenchers when I got here the last time. I got an iced jasmine tea and iced oolong tea without any milk, sugar, or toppings! The drinks were good refreshers! I loved them a lot! They come in a good size that was not extremely small or too big. They were just $1.99 for each tea! The bag was also free of charge so I loved this place a lot! Almost everything is under $5! The place was very huge and packed with people in the booths towards the back when I got here last time. There were benches and some small tables attached to one side of the wall. There was not enough seating but luckily my order was to go so I did not need to worry about seating. I don't think the bathrooms are working in this location because towards the back, there was a rope guarding anyone from going in. There were many shelves for pick up orders but they were all empty. Many people there just place their orders and pick them up fast. The place was loud though with many people talking and did not seem like a quiet place to hang out. The doors were opened up to the loud street on Canal with many people walking back and forth. This place was very casual and the staff were extremely nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants $1.99 iced tea and matcha ice cream!

Tried the pearl milk tea at Mixue and honestly, it lives up to the hype if you're looking for something cheap and quick in NYC. The pearl milk tea was about $4.99, which is way cheaper than most bubble tea spots in the city. The drink itself was solid creamy, pretty sweet, and the boba had a nice chewy texture. It's not the most premium tea flavor wise, but for the price, it definitely hits. One thing to note is the ordering system, you order through a self service kiosk instead of at the counter. It's pretty straightforward and fast, but it does make the experience feel a bit impersonal. On the plus side, it keeps the line moving quickly, which is nice because this place can get busy. As for seating, don't expect to hang out here. The space is very limited (or sometimes no seating at all), so it's more of a grab and go spot than somewhere to chill. Overall: good value, quick service, and decent boba. I'd come back if I want something sweet without spending $7-$8 at other tea shops.

Mango sundae, another view of the hole

Great quality ice cream for its price Got the mango sundae. Taste is right up there. Strong mango flavors, and subtle vanilla on the ice cream. Good temps on it as well. It was so good. I was just kind of disappointed the cup I had had a giant hole in it that wasn't filled. I thought I was getting a cups worth. Service can be busy. Maybe since there was a promotional event going on, but it was crowded. All seats were full and a lot of people standing around waiting for orders. Managed to find a seat as a couple was leaving. Staff are pretty friendly, but busy. There are long queue of orders so that's understandable.

I've been excited to see this place ever since I saw that one would be opening in Chinatown. It was quite busy despite it being late afternoon on a weekday. Ordering was done via giant tablets by the door (they can also take orders at the register). I tried the soft serve cone because it's an absolute steal for under $2. As soon as the order was placed, the staff member immediately called out the order number and had the cone ready. Talk about efficient! The soft serve was very creamy and tasted like white rabbit candy. It was served in a thin crunchy waffle cone. Lots of seating and small tables in the back but most people seemed to take their orders to go.

The spot is right next to McDonald's and I'm glad that they finally opened in Chinatown. $1.69 for Matcha ice cream is already such a steal and delicious. For the price can't really complain much. They also have variety of drinks to order which is a good alternative for affordable boba. Even though it gets quite busy service flows quickly and the wait does not take long.

    Sabrina Y.

So happy Mixue finally opened! Not the highest quality drinks, but that's not why you come - it's the best bang for the buck around. The service was a bit on the slow side and our order number wasn't ever called, but we had also come by on a busy weekend evening. I'll definitely be back! Cheap and delicious to hit the spot.

This standard bubble tea business recently open in Chinatown, NYC with a grand fake red carpet at the entrance. I am not impressed, honestly and with directness. With an open mind, without judgment I gave it the o' college try seeking my default teas and favorite default drink topping of grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉. My experience is callous and impersonal. I was disappointedly short of cash as that was my plan for method of payment. There is one cash register for cash payments operated by a human while there are two cashless kiosk. This Mixue location is gargantuan with abundant seating. The atmosphere conditions are heavily plastered in Japanese animation cartoons. Mixue does not have business cards nor takeout menu. The menu is electronically displayed on the kiosk. Furthermore, Mixue deliberately offer "one size for all" large forcing customers to intake large sugary drinks to death because Mixue do NOT give any option to chose industry standard drink sizes: small or medium!! Malfeasance. Blantant unethical. The cashless kiosk was weirdly damning as customers must provide a phone number for verification in order to move forward with placing your order. All in all, I received six (6) SMS texts from phone verification code, welcome to Mixue, loyalty points earned, point balance, order placement number, miniscule truncated and I deemed insufficient damning sales receipt, and including order ready notification for pick-up. These stolid incompetent cashless kiosk does not provide a printed sales receipt, but a SMS text despite of having a slot for printed receipts to be dispensed. Mixue does have loyalty where points are earned, balance can be viewed. Order process for order placement is displayed publicly in real-time on a large TV monitor either by name entered in the kiosk or phone number. Mixue is a modern Asian bubble tea/ ice cream business that heavily relies on technology which the consequence is very minimal human-to-human interaction for no interpersonal exchange concept. Adaptability with evolution for technology with time is important, but what about the whole interpersonal human exchange? Peach Oolong tea, medium, $4.33 The coloring of this standard, classic Oolong tea is red pink hue. I have never purchased nor drank Oolong tea in this weirdly damning odd color before. It does not taste like tea in any shape or form, but it has all the aesthetic visual appearance including taste characteristic for lemonade. I did not want lemonade, but my desideratum was Oolong tea. There is absolutely no grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 for drink topping listed on the kiosk menu, but the closest is white pudding which is awful! This white pudding taste exactly as coconut pudding or Chinese sesame milk pudding served in Chinese Dim Sum large banquet restaurants. There is minimal pieces of fresh fruit white peach embedded, not regular yellow peach. The menu offers "cool" as a option which I, inadvertently, chosen in error without understanding "cool" is colloquial for served chilled or cold without ice. I have no desideratum for a return visit to Mixue.

Pros: - quick service, my food and drinks came out quick (within 3 minutes of placing my ordering) - the staff were nice - for the price, I'd say their stuff is actually pretty good, I would go back all the time just for the matcha soft serve Cons: Comments: - went around 5:45PM on a Wednesday evening, there was a short line when I had gotten there - two of their ordering machines were down, so the line ended up going out the door (thankfully I got there before this happened) - there is some seating, I was in and out of there so I don't remember if there was a lot - music wasn't too loud

It came out as a thick piece of deep-fried toast topped with ice cream, boba, caramel popcorn, and strawberries on the side. Not healthy at all, but really good. It's one of those desserts you probably wouldn't get every day, but worth trying at least once. Fun to share and definitely something different from the usual desserts.

They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!
