Again I had to say excuse me I need your authorization...not polite, not managerial like, as if I was bothering him to do his job (wow). Despite a line behind us, cashier David went out of his way to separately bag numerous dish detergent soaps my mom had gotten, clearly pointing out how the last thing we would want would be any soap remnants leaking onto our groceries which ironically enough has happened to us before. Santiago handled the bagging aspect of the transaction with a smooth flow, smile, and great personality, enabling us to get in and out in no time. I'm assuming this is a law across California that you cannot purchase alcohol from a self-checkout kiosk. Fair. Starbucks inside was close around 8pm, but looks operational.
