The ice cream was so good! I loved the train they have and the sitting area for kids with drawing supplies. Both kept my toddler busy. Now, moving on to the ice cream! As a Columbus native, I was happy to try something unique to only Cleveland. The ice cream did not disappoint. The flavors were so good and the ice cream itself was so nice and creamy. I got the seasonal tiramisu, which was so good, they should make it available year round. I also got the caramel fudge brownie, which was my favorite because anything brownie is my favorite. The taster's duo was a good amount to try both after dinner and fairly priced. My son got a junior double chocolate chunk with sprinkles, which he loved. I hear they have a branch downtown, where you can actually watch the ice cream making process. Next time I am in Cleveland, I would love to see that and try some other fun flavors I saw like banana cream pie. read more

If you want pints, you can order and pay over the phone. If you want anything else, they take your order from your car when you pull up. We went all out and got three pints: Wildberry Crumble, Banana Cream Pie, and Lemon Black Raspberry Yogurt. Wildberry Crumble is probably my favorite ice cream flavor they have. I love the tart/sweet combo of the Lemon Black Raspberry Yogurt. The Banana Cream Pie was pretty good as well, but I wanted a stronger banana flavor (the marshmallow was awesome though). Always love going to Mitchell's. This is the closest location to us and the staff is always friendly and the selection is always on-point. Today, I got a duo, which I never paid too much attention to in the past. I just heard the person in front of us order a "duo" and proceeded to say 2 different flavors, in one bowl, for the same price as a single scoop. I guess I should pay more attention to menus going forward. So I got two of their seasonal flavors, caramel apple and the toasted hazelnut. The caramel apple caught me off guard, as there was a bit of tartness to it (to mimic apples), then lots of chopped nuts; If you're allergic or do not like them, then this ice cream isn't for you. 9:06 pm (approximately) December 14 2023 I was hoping to have a nice relaxing evening getting ice cream after church with some buddies, when I walked up to the counter to order a nice scoop of ice cream, I was approached with the RUDEST customer service I have ever received. Not only did she give me HALF scoop when I ordered a full one, I saw a gnats gathering in the ice cream bin. All the girls, specifically the one with the braid gave me a sarcastic and demeaning tone. If you're from Cleveland, you know Mitchell's is a staple ice cream shop. This was my first stop at this particular location as I was looking to switch up the scenery. Currently because of covid, there is no dine in, they are not letting anybody in the shop at all. It's curbside only and you can also preorder and pick up there as well. Someone walks up to your car and you place your order/pay with them. Then, they bring it out to you! Like a carhop ice cream shop! We all know the ice cream here is amazing, but my boyfriend and I took a stab at the seasonal fall flavors that we've never tried before. I got the Pumpkin Spice and he had the Autumn Caramel Apple. Both were so flavorful and seasonally-appropriate. The pumpkin spice literally tasted like the filling on a pumpkin pie. The caramel apple had some sweet apple chunks and was a nice fulfilling dessert as well. We each got a single scoop and they gave a nice hearty one and for a reasonable price too. This location is really nice and the staff is awesome! I think this may be my favorite Mitchell's experience thus far. I really appreciate the safety precautions they have in place and the staff still has really good attitudes despite having to hustle a bit back and forth. Well done as always! read more

Love it here in every way. Since I am born in raised here is Cleveland, I can say that Mitchell's has always been good. However , in the past few years I would have to say that Mitchell's has really raised their game. We love every single flavor here and as always , I am partial to any salted caramel. My kids go for the brownie and the pecan and my husband loves the chocolate cherry. It's so darn good and the kids that work here are always so sweet.
