The ice cream was delicious, and the service was friendly and fast. I really enjoyed my visit. The only thing I would love to see is a larger variety of flavors. Overall, a great place for a sweet treat, and I would definitely come back!

Lemon Bar Dairy-Free and Texas Sheet Cake Dairy-Free

This place really is great. Located on Main St in downtown Chagrin Falls, I have been in multiple times for my fancy ice cream fix. The smell of waffle cone greets you when you walk in, and the service is friendly. They have so many unique flavors and seasonal rotations too, so you never quite know what to expect when you go in. They encourage sampling too which is wonderful so that I can try several before finally making a decision! While in today, I sampled four flavors before choosing the lemon bar and Texas sheet cake non dairy flavors. The lemon was punchy and zingy and the Texas sheet cake was rich and deep chocolatey...both were so creamy you'd never know they are non-dairy! The flavors complimented each other well (in my opinion) and made for a lovely post-theater treat. I will certainly be back. Thank you, Jeni's!

Great ice cream, cute shop, cute area. What's not to like?! It's hard scoop ice cream and there's plenty of flavors to choose from. But don't worry, the staff is kind enough to let you try a little spoon sample to narrow down your choices. They were making waffle cones when we went in, so the aroma was amazing!! Very good ice cream with enough flavors to satisfy the whole group. Would recommend.

This hot spot in Chagrin Falls is a hit!!! The ice cream is outstanding. Hand made waffle cone cups are delicious. The service was great as they errr super busy but kept the line moving. It's a clean social place that's perfect for family's. Loved it!!

This ice cream shop is amazing, with rich flavors, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again.

Jeni's Ice Cream is the absolute best!! On a recent visit I sampled one of their new fall flavors "sweet potato marshmallow praline" and instantly fell in love!!! It was so flavorful and you literly tasted each individual ingredient in every bite. My absolute favorite flavor is "coffee with cream and sugar" and I ordered a scoop of both flavors for a seasonal treat called "Sweet Potato Spice". I received great service and was able to sample other flavors as well. The overall ambiance is wonderful, not only are you serenaded with warm smells of fresh baked waffle cones, when you step outside of the ice cream shop you have the most breathtaking view of the Chagrin Falls. There is a merchandise area available to shop and take home ice cream.

What a fantastic establishment. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The environment is uplifting and inviting. Tons of unique ice cream flavors with high-quality ingredients. All the ice creams are labeled if they're gluten-free, dairy, free, nut free, etc. many Allergy listings. It's easy to order if you have an allergy. I love this place. I will definitely be back. As a sidenote, they have a unisex bathroom stocked with tampons for women, which is a nice little extra .

The place was cute and cozy and the staff was super friendly. The ice cream was creamy and has so many interesting flavors!

Gooey Butter Cake - kids size

This cute little ice cream shop was VERY busy this Saturday afternoon as people went in to get ice cream to escape the heat. The exterior is colorful and inviting while inside is filled with things to buy and ice cream to try! Looking back on it, I wish I had bought one of their shirts. All the merchandise looked well made. The line went fast thanks to expedient service. I noticed that most of the flavors were quite basic, which is against the brand of Jeni's crazy flavors. I was disappointed to see that the only crazy flavor was the everything bagel flavor. I tried a couple of the flavors and didn't think they tasted too special - especially for the price. My kid scoop of gooey butter cake was absolutely tiny and cost $5! That is insane for what you get. I didn't want a lot of ice cream, sure, but I don't think their smallest size should cost anywhere near 5 bucks. Especially since I think gooey butter cake, while good, didn't have a strong enough cream cheese flavor. While I was disappointed with the selection and price, I was happy to try Jeni's for the first time and will try again when they hopefully bring more of their unique flavors to their storefront.

Adorable little storefront in Chagrin Falls! The flavors are amazing here, and very unique! The staff was friendly and there wasn't a wait, probably because we came in the middle of winter. They were out of the double dough, so I'll be back again to try it sometime!

You can never go wrong with Jeni's! So many fun flavors to try. I went sweet while my husband went salty. It was so delicious, you have to try it out! The line might look long, but it goes very quick and definitely worth the wait. And the store has some cute spots to sit, but if it's nice out, I highly recommend taking it to the park across the street to enjoy!

Deliciousness!!
Kathy S.

Had a delicious treat at Jeni's!! It was creamy, full of flavor and to boot it was in a waffle bowl! I had the gooy butter cake, salted peat nut butter with chocolate flakes and brown butter almond brittle. Really don't think you can pick a bad flavor combo. Even when it is cold outside it s worth coming in as they have a quaint area to enjoy your sweet treat.

There's a coffee flavored shake, though, so that's confusing. I was overwhelmed with all the choices, but I saw a lot of things I wanted to try. A lot of the flavors weren't clear to me like what a pirate's booty or tin roof sundae would be. I ended up getting the Mississippi mud pie sundae because I was taking too long and know nothing can go wrong with that. They gave me a large portion of whipped cream - the most I've seen in my life, and there was a good amount of chocolate syrup. I noticed all the sundaes and hurricanes in my group had vanilla, but I wonder if I could have had a different flavor instead of vanilla, which isn't clear on the menu without asking. I also got to taste a peanut butter shake, which was a nice consistency. I'd probably have to get a shake next time because those have the flavors I like the most and are the most simple to figure out straight from the list.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, and thankfully, that part of the experience remained consistent. Service: The service was very efficient and friendly. Our server was absolutely great--attentive, professional, and very pleasant throughout the evening. Food: Unfortunately, this is where the restaurant really fell short this time. The host of our party ordered several appetizers for the table: the bread basket from On the Rise Bakery, Tuna Crudo, French fries, charred leeks, and steak tartare. With the exception of the bread--which was probably the best dish of the night--the appetizers were average to below average. For dinner, we ordered the branzino along with two sides: mushrooms and potato gratin. Unfortunately, the branzino was very fishy. My wife tried a little, and I ate about half of my portion before I had to stop. The two sides were okay, but nothing particularly memorable. We also tried all four desserts. The Apple Tarte Tatin was the clear winner and was actually very good. The other three were average and, frankly, not worth the calories. Unfortunately, this visit was a significant contrast to our first experience six months ago. We were pleasantly surprised by the food on our first visit, which left us with a very positive impression of the restaurant. This time, however, we were unfortunately quite disappointed with the food. The ambiance and service were still excellent, but when you're dining with a large group and the food is the main reason you're there, the quality really matters. Sadly, this visit did not live up to our first experience.

Now I've…read morebeen there before no stranger to it but I felt there was some issues that needed to be addressed. Our reservation was for 7:30 we arrived about an hour early just because I really like being prompt. At first glance when you walk into place I reviewed the dress code. Apparently I'm the only one that reviewed the dress code. Baseball hats, t-shirts hoodies not the collared shirt casual business attire that was required on the website. We checked in for our appointment our only prerequisite is we really wanted to have something with the view for our anniversary. We waited in the bar and ordered some drinks while I pass the time with my lovely wife. There is a fruit fly issue that needs addressed. I could not help but notice for all the employees standing around they're certainly were a lot of tables that went un bussed. As you had people that wanted to be seated one could logically deduced that bussing the table with one way to do it. After a while I went back up to the server station to check on our status all three people at the service station were entrenched into their phones. Tick tock, Instagram doing anything but bussing tables and tending to the customers. I interrupted the ladies whom were supposed to be working to have them check on a table for me. Nothing was available yet but the table had to be cleaned off. Ironic because they could have put their damn phones down and cleaned the table. One of the biggest time wasters with employees and restaurants is that phone. There's a restaurant in Cleveland called Town Hall that once reported to work your phone gets locked up therefore you get locked in to your job. This place would benefit greatly by making their employees lock their phones up. We ended up getting a table on the patio downstairs and my wife nearly bit it on the dirty and greasy carpeting as we walked downstairs. It was gross and indefinite need of being cleaned. Overall everything seemed sticky and dirty windows made it feel unclean. We were seated at our table for about 12 minutes until we were approached by our server she was very nice but clearly she seemed a tad overworked I'm not sure how many other tables she had. I counted no more than four different servers and two busboys walking by this table that had a bunch of dirty glasses on it and nobody bothered to pick it up. My steak frites were the highlight of the evening my wife had the filet which was also amazing for her. We had finished our mail and our conversation and we're ready to go but unfortunately our server was MIA. I could see her through the windows she wasn't wasting time she was actually working she appeared to be one of the only ones working. She must have received my message and came out to bring us a box and the bill. I went into the into the restroom on my way out of the door and in the men's stall I couldn't help but notice the lock had been busted and you couldn't lock the door. Which was super awkward as I was using the restroom there was a fellow who opened the door and got an eyeful. Nice evening cap. As we traversed the slippery greasy steps to head back up and back out I couldn't help but think how far this place must have fallen. I was unable to spy any management as I kind of felt feedback was necessary at this point. I chuckled to myself as I passed the hostess station in the same hostess that seated us, that I had to have her get off her phone to seat us was still on her phone. Must have been a really good video. So to whomever the owner or manager of this establishment is do yourself a favor: eliminate phones. That's the only way to save this place. There's no excuse to leave glassware and dishes piling up on tables that could be used to seat folks that want to have an enjoyable dining experience. * Clean your establishment. * Eliminate phone usage. The lack of productivity did not go unnoticed. I was not the only customer whom noticed. * Repair broken restroom locks in the downstairs men's toilet * Address the fruit fly issue in the bar * Degrease the steps and carpeting before someone is injured * Make an attempt to enforce the dress code so you don't look like a chili's * MODs need to be visible. Management by presence is an effective way to enforce duties. It's a shame that a place with such a fantastic view is not a place I would go back to.
