This is the fourth time I've used Megan Guo's Mobile Notary service. Previously, I used her twice…read morefor my cognitively challenged brother and once for my bedbound adult daughter. This time, we used her for my disabled daughter, my wife, and me. I don't anticipate needing a Mobile Notary anytime in the near future. If I do, though, there's no reason for me to consider anyone else. As I've said in the past, each time was a positive experience and I was very pleased with her. Dealing with my cognitively challenged brother and my bedbound adult daughter each had their difficulties. In both situations, though, Megan was kind, friendly, pleasant, patient, and professional. It's easy to schedule with her. From what she's said, she travels all over the Bay Area. I've never used another mobile notary, so I don't really have anyone else to compare to. But her rates seem quite reasonable to me. She charges $15 per document to be notarized, plus travel time. It's possible, though, she charges $15 per signature if multiple signatures are needed on a single document. I don't know. Again, though, I see no reason for me to consider using anyone else.

We arrived at Margarita Financial office thru a recommendation from another tax office after years…read moreof looking for a tax preparer to help us. Nobody wanted to deal with our situation. We had a very complicated and complex situation with years and years of backed taxes due!! It took us about a year or so to finish every single tax year and take care of everything with the IRS and State. She worked very hard, is very knowledgeable and is updated with the IRS laws. She was very patient with us and we can see she loves her job and to help people. Her staff was very friendly and polite. We mostly worked with Veronica with the calls and scheduling. We will forever be grateful for all her hard work. Nadie quería lidiar con nuestra situación. Era una situación muy complicada y compleja con años y años de impuestos atrasados! I was fine with that and accepted the fact that she made a mistake. I was waiting to have the document notarized this morning and she did not show up. Not even a message to explain why. Just didn't show. Please don't rely on this person if you need anything done on an urgent basis. Completely unreliable and will not recommend to anyone.

Luckily, we thought of yelp and we were able to find Elias from mobile notary management. It was around eight in the morning when we called and he said he would be available at 10 AM. We needed six signatures and he was able to accommodate all of us for the documents. He managed to answer our questions, explained the services he provided ie apostille, notary. After all was said and done, he did his job and left. However, we siblings screwed up on one of the papers, we called him an hour after he left to explain that we needed him again. He was gracious enough to help us and drive back to my brother's house and redo the process. If you ever need mobile notary, choose this business. Elias is fast, quick, knowledgeable and 100% helpful.

If you have stock transactions or even above average than usual complexity to your taxes, steer clear of this guy. He did not account for some of my stock transactions being under an ESPP, so did not adjust the cost basis to reflect this discount. For any accountant I'd expect them to go through the W2 in detail and ask questions, but he did not, catching that you have an ESPP discount reflected on your W2 is 100% something any competent accountant preparing your taxes should catch. See the screenshots for more details about the scenario.

We were clients previously of Patricia's uncle for 15 plus years and were hopeful that she would…read morecontinue providing the same level of professionalism as he did but unfortunately this has not been the case. Her communication and frankly attitude are strangely unhelpful and comes across like she doesn't care about your business. Most recently, we reached out to her for capital gains tax advice on 2 properties we recently sold and finally, after third attempt, got hold of her assistant who scheduled a time to meet the following week. When we met however she stated there wasn't much she could do to help until the 2026 tables came out. We then learned from our investment advisor that she could have provided a ballpark estimate since any change in next years table would not be that significant. So I attempted to reconnect with Patricia again but after 3 separate email, and 1 phone, attempts (as before) received no response. So we will be taking our business else where which is unfortunate since weve had a long, previously positive, relationship with this family run business.
