My dining room chairs are constantly wobbly, and require tightening every other week or so. My couch has begun to fall apart, and my bed has broke for a second time. The first time the bed broke, we were luckily under the pathetic 1 year warranty, but now we're SOL. Everyone can argue to buy extended warranty options, but another $500+ is hard for everyone to fork over. If I knew their products were such garbage, that can't last daily use, I would've, but instead I trusted a name brand corporation to have the customer's interests at heart. Will NEVER shop at Ashley's again and will NEVER recommend them to friends and family.

So I told this to the sales representative that was with me, Glen, and she said that the day prior was Black Friday, so they might be able to sell it to me for the day prior's price, which was $99. She consulted her supervisor and approved me for that price, as well as letting me take that exact one the same day, rather than ordering it and assembling it myself. If you go to Farmers Furniture, before picking anything out, ask to speak to Glen, she will get you the best deal, regardless of anything.

I purchased a mattress for my sons room. Within a few weeks I called them to let them know it was already flat and in poor condition. It took weeks to get them to accept an exchange and of course I had to spend an additional $200 to get another mattress. Within about two months the same thing happened to the new mattress (which was supposed to be "better". When you sit on it you sink - there is no support on the inside it completely collapses with even just a little but if weight. I would never buy mattresses from them again. The mattresses themselves are very low quality and dealing with the store for replacement was very difficult and we still have a crappy mattress.

When I got there with the first chair (we decided to do them piecemeal since it was going to be a bit of money) he gave me the highest estimate of $150. I thought that if they were going to do good work then it might be worth it since they're antiques. They replaced a support that was missing using pine. That's not good work. I gave them one more chance on a second chair (and because I wanted two chairs to match at least) and they didn't even clean the second chair before varnishing. There are milk spots UNDER the varnish. (We have toddlers hence the milk...) On a side note, I felt that I got the run around since I was a woman. There was a real "good ol' boy feel" to the place. It's Alabama so I guess I should have sent my husband. I was never unpleasant (it just doesn't do any good when dealing with that mentality) but I think the owner picked up on my displeasure since he didn't even offer to carry my chair out for me. I don't recommend them.
