There is always a holiday around the corner and as their mom, you want your kids to be festive. HBT is my go-to for cute AND comfortable wear. I just supported one of my local businesses - Honey Bee Tees - because they are a well-deserving small business with quality products. I love the quality and the durability of their products. I am a grandmother and realize how expensive clothing children can be, but Honey Bee Tees are affordable, which is what I'm looking for with growing children. I love their simple and artistic designs and so do the little ones in my life. My name is Darby Stickler and in August of 2010, as a stay-at-home mother of three and blogger, I opened Honey Bee Tees.

Meet the Business Owner: Darby S.

Back in 2010, as a mother to young children, I often found myself discontented with the t-shirt options that retailers offered--busy, loud, and sometimes inappropriate. I saw the demand for children's t-shirts that were comfortable and timeless--something that both child and parent would love. Starting with six simple screen-printed designs, I opened Honey Bee Tees with the hope and vision, that in time, it would grow. It's crazy to think that we now have well over 100 designs on a vast array of products!

I will begin with service - 0 would not be a low enough rating. evidently despite the fact I have visited from out of state ( PA) one to three times a year and spending between $200 - $3200 each visit I do not 'look' like their type of customer. I have never been treated as consistently badly. this time ( my last time) - I saw the merchandise had gotten even lower scale than ever. very little to purchase. However, I was purchasing a piece of smaller furniture for a garden display. - long story short after treating me like garbage and making me wait beyond ( a half hour beyond) my turn they finally managed to ring me up. It took an hour 15 minutes to purchase an item at the posted discount. i am a 70 year old woman with a toddler and could carry the item myself. In addition (Once again) - the woman behind the counter failed to pack all the items I paid for!!! which I discovered when 130 miles away - too late to turn back. -adding insult to injury the staff acted like I was a thief or undesirable. This stunned me because far more upscale shops remember me and welcome my presence. I do not believe ladies ever treat an older customer who has purchased from them over the years in the way I have endured. I'm tired of excusing the shoddy behavior, lack of service and routine failure to pack what I purchase. Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this deteriorating standards of merchandise establishment. I will travel to other areas in the future and so should you. I have been in the business as a decorator and dealer and this place and it's desperate shabby ( in the worst way) merch and shoddy repro heavy merchandising sets a record for unpleasant and unprofessional.

Short older lady at the counter told me she would have it wrapped up for me while I finished with my shopping. Got back down to pay for it. Same lady looked me dead in my face and asked me if I knew it was $145. She did not even wrap it up because she didn't know if I could afford it. I told her I didn't give a shit how much it cost. I was purchasing it. Then told her I will NEVER EVER shop at the store again. If you want a pleasant experience with antique shopping NOT go to Old South antique mall in Dothan, Alabama.

So all I am giving this negative review for are the aforementioned autographs in the back. They are ALL beyond bad, all fakes and the seller should frankly be charged for selling these. It is 100% illegal. I personally know some of the athletes in the photos he has for sale, definitely not their autographs. Never trust a dealer like this in an antique mall of course, but been in sports and working with athletes 30+ years, I guarantee they're all bad and the seller needs to be held accountable. If you bought from them file a police report, this is a forgery scheme he's running, why they are letting him sell is insane. Did find couple other trading cards, dealer wanted $149.99 for an open set worth about $10 (maybe $20 if sealed), and $14.99 of repacked cards worth about a quarter just to look through for fun, real value is zero as it's junk wax era. Again, rest of the stuff looked typical, everyone in there seemed to have something in their hands that they were buying; but they need to boot whoever is selling the autographs before someone sues the dealer and them.

I will say they are a bit on the higher side in price, but they have many markdowns around the store and their items are quality pieces from the best furniture warehouses in the US. This is not one of those bargain places to buy cute furniture that breaks in a month, this place has sturdy and beautiful pieces. I actually sat down and felt the weight of some of these objects. Since I most likely won't be back in this part of town, they gave me a printout of all the designers and warehouses they order from to get pieces shipped to me, so that was awesome.
