Then we moved to Tallahassee and never thought we would find Mia something as special. But then my wife met Mrs. Martha and Mrs. Madonna from SewNoles and thought that they would be a good fit. This place is so special that even my wife is taking classes. The ladies are spectacular and have truly rounded Mia up to the next level of passion for the art. I went in to purchase quilting fabric. Even though the store was a mad house, the fabric section had no one aside from me and the person at the fabric counter. She couldn't be bothered to assist me and answer my questions. "What we have is what's there!" She was busy with satin bolts presumably cutting for someone who was not currently in the department. I was relegated to short curt answers, and when she realized I was put out with her attitude, she did offer to order more of the fabric I had requested. By this time, I was so upset over her treatment of me I decided to go elsewhere and will not return.

I went to the Hobby Lobby in Enterprise last night and picked the two items pictured. It had 50%…read moreoff all wood and metal items and both were in the same rack. At checkout the clerk, along with another clerk refused to give the discount for the lifebouy stating that it wasn't wood or metal. The manager agreed so I let them keep the merchandise. I went to the one in Dothan and had no problem there. The Enterprise store won the battle, but lost the war. We have probably spent more than $1,000 there, but will not receive our business anymore. We will tell our friends, relatives and co-workers. Take your business to the store in Dothan if you don't want to get ripped off!

All of the sewing notions that are harder to find in stores like Wal Mart are available, as well as pattern brands like Vogue and Butterick as well as more indy brands. There is a great selection of reasonably priced ribbon and lace and elastic as well as lots of fabric and buttons and scissors, you name it. Don't let the size fool you--they really have lots of good stuff in a small space. I've had my machine repaired there twice and though it took a while to be done it ran perfectly afterward and I even got some advice for making it continue to run better. Every time I've had a question the employees have been friendly and helpful. Now that Covid 19 is a problem, this is the only store I have been in that I have actually felt fairly safe in. None of the other businesses I have been in cared enough about my health and employee health to require masks and limit customer numbers. They even give out a free mask pattern! I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend Enterprise Sewing Center.
