We told him what we wanted done, and William gave us the best bid for our project, so we decided to go with William and his crew. On Monday morning, he was at our house and started the actual project on Tuesday. On Thursday evening, the job was done. We are very happy with the results. You get a fly-by-night crew messing up your concrete, and there's no easy solution. I got three bids on my patio. Sione's was the most expensive. But in the walk-thru, Paul noticed things the other contractors didn't. He asked really good questions and provided a price quickly. His decades of experience was evident. So I decided to spend more and use him. He and his crew didn't disappoint. I wanted an arc on the end of the patio, and they worked on the form until I was happy with it. They answered all my questions and I had a lot. I'd overseen a lot of commercial concrete in my career, but was unfamiliar with several things they did during this residential job. It wasn't wrong, it was just unfamiliar. They explained why they were doing what they were doing, so I withheld judgment until the end. There were a couple of details in their prep work I wasn't happy with. They changed them without complaint or argument. And they cleaned up after they were done. On top of everything else, the crew was amazingly fast. Concrete is brutal work, but these guys moved like a well-oiled machine. The result was a beautiful product. No low spots, perfect slope, clean joint, beautiful radiused edges. I will definitely use them again when I'm ready to replace my old driveway. Our yard was a challenge, to say the least, full of weeds, an old lawn and a sprinkler system that needed updating. Tony came by, listened to what we wanted, and came up with a vision for how to make the yard beautiful, more efficient and with less maintenance. We were amazed at how hard he and his team worked each day. They cleared out the weeds, trimmed bushes and trees, prepared the old lawn with top soil and new seed, set up perimeter borders, replaced valves and set up sprinklers the right way to ensure exact coverage so that water isn't wasted. They spread new mulch and decorative rocks and gravel that helped map out the yard into defined areas. Tony has experience and it shows in the level of attention and detail. When they put the initial chimney in; I thought all was fine until one rainy day... the chimney was leaking water. These people come back out. They don't keep their time or their appointment. They show up hours late and near dark time. They assure me that they can work in the dark and fix the issue. Chimney is crooked, has gaps in it and it's leaking from the chimney on the roof. Has nothing to do with the roof cause I had a brand new roof put on about six months ago. Stay away! Unless you want them to take your money, do a partial job and shine you on and run. I kept getting excuses about how the owner was having medical issues in the hospital with a stroke, etc. Honestly... I have as much compassion as the next person, but this is business and honestly, it's not my problem. DO NOT hire these people. They are sketchy. They do not listen. They do not care about the customer. I will be reporting them to the state, L&I and other agencies as well. BE WARNED!
