Friendly and helpful and patient when I was less than on point, dropping into the store randomly to throw improperly formatted files at him. When I received the large-format, finished prints on coroplast, the color was perfect, the material was cut to exactly the right size, and he even dropped off the finished posters directly to my client just 'cause he was going to be in the area anyway: not because I was an old client or spending thousands of dollars, but just BECAUSE, which's a level of service I've never gotten from a printer in the past. This is mainly why I'm writing this review: the folks here treated me like a VIP when I had never set foot in their shop before this job. As an artist, I'm lucky to have Signal right in my neighborhood for all of my future printing needs, and I'll be recommending them to everybody, including you.

They're prices are very reasonable. Before discovering them, I had priced things out online at various online printers and ship & print places - Fleming is often half the price. Combined with point #1, it's a no-brainer The only challenging thing is that they don't have a flashy, modern web interface. In fact, their website could use a little love. We worked with Renee, who is totally awesome and very tolerant of my general level of insanity when it comes to planning the wedding. She was patient, worked with us and spent a very long time doing math with my fiance to make sure we had our paper sizes correct, and had a great sense of humor. Our invites, RSVP cards, and direction cards all came out perfectly and we are thrilled at how fast and easy it was to set up. After my husband got his Canadian passport photos done here, we went back because my husband said that he felt like they were the only place that seemed to know what they were doing. We were looking for a new printer and while this project was somewhat small, we do a fair amount of printing for clients and I was hoping Alpha would be our new resource. She assured me our printing project would not be a problem and said she'd send an estimate based on our very specific conversation and order details. Cut to a week later. I call again and talk to her, still no estimate. She apologizes, assures me she is working on it and will get it to me asap. Cut to another week. I call again and leave a message asking where is the estimate and could she call me. I get an email back later that day with confirmation on what I was looking for so she could draw up an estimate. I email all details (again) and it's now OVER another week and I have never heard back. No estimate. Thank you for wasting my time; thankfully I saw this coming and engaged with another printer. At this point, I wouldn't let them print a B/W Post-it Note for me. If this is how you treat prospective new clients who you are trying to "win", I can't imagine what the level of service is once you're engaged. Sadly, I have no idea what these high reviews are talking about!
