If you choose an "add-on," they incorporate it into the timeframe of your massage. For example, I…read morebooked a 60-min Swedish massage and paid extra for a scalp massage/treatment. The scalp massage was incorporated into the 60 minutes, not in addition to, which took away from the 60 minute massage. It's misleading. I wouldn't have paid for an "add-on" if I had known. When I booked it, it said total time was 1hr 15. And when I later asked, they said that includes clean-up time. What does clean-up time have to do with the time shown to the guest? There's also a reason Dolce Vita had availability last-minute, when Atlantis and Peppermill didn't. Dolce is simply not worth the price. The amenities are very very average. In the ladies room, there's only a steam room and sauna. The shampoo and conditioner are poor quality too. The men's room (according to my partner) doesn't even have a steam room. I've visited Dolce about three times, and this past weekend will be my list. You can get a much better experience elsewhere, and for less money. The masseuses are good, but the customer service is just ok. Really wish they'd be more upfront about add-ons, and really wish they'd step up their amenities because the location has potential.

I tried concentrated drops and had a reaction. I don't have allergies (they even subtly said how I should have read the ingredients before trying...like that would have made me think twice since I didn't have known allergies) so I called my dermatologist $$ plus was given cream $$....so since you cannot get in asap with an office visit I was 11 days when I tried to return plus $100 out for the office visit. She did say I can have a discounted service....so spend more money. So just a heads up to not purchase products unless you have used them before and like paying the higher price. I was a little disappointed that they couldn't do better, but lesson learned.

I booked a…read morespray tan at Shaded 12 days in advance and selected the Cocktail Tan, but I never received the service and was still charged a cancellation fee. When I booked, I was told I would receive a confirmation, but I never did. The Monday before my appointment, I called to confirm. No one answered, so I left a voicemail. I then received an automated text asking why I had called. I explained that I hadn't received a confirmation, but got no response. After following up again, Kira finally responded and confirmed the email address on file, but I still didn't receive confirmation until less than 24 hours before my scheduled appointment. Then, just a few hours before my appointment, Kira asked me to move it to an earlier time slot. I had already arranged my day around the appointment, so that didn't work for me. She also tried to steer me toward the Rapid Tan instead of the Cocktail Tan I had booked and gave me skin-prep instructions that contradicted the instructions in her original email, which felt like a ploy just to convince me to take the earlier time slot. After considerable back-and-forth, I ultimately canceled because the entire experience felt flaky and unprofessional. Despite the lack of timely confirmation, failure to return my call, last-minute request to change my appointment, attempt to switch me to a different service, and conflicting preparation instructions, I was still charged a cancellation fee. I had heard great things about Shaded before booking, which made this experience especially disappointing. Unfortunately, my experience was that the business was poorly managed and did not treat my time as a customer with much consideration. If you book here, be aware she might flake and still charge you, even if you received confirmation within less than 24 hours of your appointment.

I was a bit disappointed that one of the beds was broken (don't know how long it has been broken for since I'm a very intermittent customer). They could improve the vibe in here for sure by investing in the overall atmosphere (and I wish ALL the beds were the newer ones with builtin fans and music), but this place is close to my house and always gets the job done. Currently, they have a promo where you buy 10 and get 2 free (I think 5 and get one free was $95, plus tax for level 3 beds). Side note, it was my first time trying the level 3 bed (I've tried all levels except level 1 at this point now) but holy cow that level 3 bed does not mess around! My butt is so red from just 10 minutes I should have listed to my body when I started to feel that distinct tingling feeling.... The person told her that the membership would end. On my wife's last visit, she asked the front desk person again what would happen, and they told her that the membership would expire and end. Well...that was not true. I was looking over our finances, and I noticed a charge from Sunsation, and they have now been billing us for 5 months past our 3-month trial. My wife called and asked if they could cancel the membership and the person said she could not. You have to come in person and cancel the membership (so customer-friendly, I know). My wife asked if she could email and cancel that way, and the person said she doesn't think the business has an email (later, we found out they do have an email). My wife asked if she could email and cancel that way, and the person said she doesn't think the business has an email (later, we found out they do have an email). So she wrote a letter and went in to cancel, but the manager was not in, so she was told she would have to come back. I finally called today to help my frustrated wife and thankfully they agreed to cancel our membserhip without us having to come in. At this point, they have stolen over $1000 from us, and all they could tell me is that I should pay attention more to bills and make sure I read the contract I sign. Here's a tip. Just be honest with people and build a business that takes care of people and doesn't play games like this. They told my wife twice that the membership would expire, and when she signed the contract, they should have told her that the 3-month contract auto-renews unless you come in and cancel. Terrible business. They don't care about people. Just want the money out of your pocket and it's your problem if you are too trusting. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.
