If I could leave fewer than one star, I would, based on the customer service alone. I booked a spray tan at Shaded 12 days in advance and selected the Cocktail Tan, but I never received the service and was still charged a cancellation fee. When I booked, I was told I would receive a confirmation, but I never did. The Monday before my appointment, I called to confirm. No one answered, so I left a voicemail. I then received an automated text asking why I had called. I explained that I hadn't received a confirmation, but got no response. After following up again, Kira finally responded and confirmed the email address on file, but I still didn't receive confirmation until less than 24 hours before my scheduled appointment. Then, just a few hours before my appointment, Kira asked me to move it to an earlier time slot. I had already arranged my day around the appointment, so that didn't work for me. She also tried to steer me toward the Rapid Tan instead of the Cocktail Tan I had booked and gave me skin-prep instructions that contradicted the instructions in her original email, which felt like a ploy just to convince me to take the earlier time slot. After considerable back-and-forth, I ultimately canceled because the entire experience felt flaky and unprofessional. Despite the lack of timely confirmation, failure to return my call, last-minute request to change my appointment, attempt to switch me to a different service, and conflicting preparation instructions, I was still charged a cancellation fee. I had heard great things about Shaded before booking, which made this experience especially disappointing. Unfortunately, my experience was that the business was poorly managed and did not treat my time as a customer with much consideration. If you book here, be aware she might flake and still charge you, even if you received confirmation within less than 24 hours of your appointment. read more

Orange spray tan? Not from Shaded! Gone are the days are worrying about coming out like a fruit from getting a spray tan, at least with Kira. Kira offers a spray tanning and teeth whitening. I haven't yet had my teeth whitened professionally, so I will update my review in the future if that's a bridge I'll cross, so this will focus on the spray tan facet. 1-Booking: Booking is super easy! On her website you have a multitude of options to choose from: In studio tan (you go to her), Mobile tan (she comes to you) and then package options: buy more than one tan to use in a certain time frame. (you can also buy Teeth+Tan packages). Then you pick the date and time you want and then you're booked. 2-Prep instructions: Kira reaches out and tells you how to prepare for your spray tan session: exfoliation and shaving and even the type of clothes to wear: loose dark clothing ;) 3-What to wear or not: You wanna wear a bikini/bra and panties and not be fully nude? Great! Wanna be in the buff? Great! Kira makes you feel amazing whether or not you're fully nude or have panties on or panties and bra. 4-The Tan: The tan will last about 7 days, depending on how well you keep up with the aftercare. I once stretched a tan to about 10 days. 5-Do I recommend? Absolutely. As more research comes out, we obviously know that tans from the Sun or Tanning beds are bad news bears and increase cancer risk. Having a spray tan is a great way to have instant color, no sweating in the sun or stinky sunscreen necessary. Having a spray tan instantly boosts my confidence. How? I have no idea, it's just facts. And tans are not just for 'sunny' months. Cold weather tans are a great way to combat the Wintertime blues. 6-Extra: Kira said she's working on wedding packages, so I will definitely be using her when I get married in the future. read more

I've had teeth whitening services before, but Kira is absolutely phenomenal! She uses medical grade products. This girl is LEGIT. I love that she has the option of coming to YOU! She came to my massage studio and whitened my teeth. I was so excited about my service. I relaxed while she protected my gums and performed two 15-minute lightening treatments. Within 30 minutes, my teeth lighted by 7 (Seven SHADES!) I booked myself and 3 friends for a spray tan party with her in a couple days, and I'm excited for that as well! Book her! Kira is one of the most knowledgeable and friendly people you could ask for. She adds gum lining protection which I've never had during a whitening. It was a couple 20-minute sessions that were painless and very comfortable. She explains everything clearly so there's no awkwardness or confusion. She shows you a scale of where your teeth are on the whitening scale, so you get a clear before and after effect. I recently was looking to get my first spray tan. And it was for my wedding. I had many questions and concerns. The biggest one's being "will this rub off on my white dress" and "will it look natural ". I am so very grateful I found Kira @ Shaded. She is truly amazing at what she does. She is very patient and answered all my questions. No matter how trivial they were. She made sure to get me in even though it was a last minute booking.
