Loretta did a great job for brow waxing. I think I may get a facial too one day. She is competent, professional and extremely helpful in whatever you want done. Just text her in advance for an appointment. She also knows a lot about hiking in Reno, btw. read more

Loretta really knows her stuff! I contacted her not knowing whether or not I wanted a facial or a peel. She was so sweet and answered my many questions. Recently my skin broke out and I was left with a lot of acne scars. Loretta took the time to ask me questions about my skin so she could give me the treatment that best suited my skin. She decided on the blueberry jessner peel. She explained all the steps of the peel and always made sure I was comfortable before continuing onto the next step. Her space is super clean and simple. Located inside a small house it certainly has its charm. Her table contours your body instead of those flat ones that most aestheticians have. There's soft music that plays in the background as well. All her products are plant based and she explained to me how instead of working against your skin they work with your skin to provide the best results. The peel itself felt a lot like a facial but with more products that tingled. Duh it's a peel! She used red light on my problem areas and did extractions as well. After she was done, my face was super clean and felt tight. She explained to me how my skin will probably feel dry, be red, and that my skin might be flakey (but not actually peel) in three days. She provided me with tips on how to take care of my skin and what to expect in the next few days as the peel does it's thing. Overall I am super satisfied with her service. There is a reason she has such good reviews on here! She's also an yoga instructor! Loretta was absolutely wonderful and made me feel so welcome. I will definitely be coming back! read more

It was my first time going to Loretta, I decided to go to her because of the reviews and let me tell you there is a reason she has great reviews. The experience to book an appointment was very nice and convenient. 1.) she was super friendly when I arrived and greeted me by name. 2) I had a full face wax and it was very pleasant and painless. 3) she gave me some tips on how to care for my skin post waxing. I was so pleased that I scheduled my facial. I strongly recommend her, you would regret it. read more

Contacted Loretta via text as she suggested-short drive from my home. The business was impeccably clean, neat and comfortable and she respects privacy. Had her clean up my eyebrows and she did so, leaving still looking like a mans eyebrows shud and not a runway model. Reasonably priced compared to what I paid while living in Sacramento. I would recommend her based on my experience read more

Thanks to one of the previous reviews saying that that Loretta is great with those who are more on the sensitive side to waxes, I decided to book an appointment and was not disappointed. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes! She made my Brazilian wax so quick and painless! This was only my 3rd one ever, and my first time EVER with someone other than my aunt and I was nervous, because I am definitely a screamer, but I did not need to scream at all. She waxed areas that my aunt didn't wax and was very thorough! She went through with tweezers to get any stubborn hairs out, and that surprisingly, hurt more than the waxing itself! I am definitely going back to Loretta and recommending all my friends here! Thank you Loretta for easing my fears of Brazilians and doing it so quickly! read more

Awesome Aesthecian. Friendly and knowledgeable. It was my first appointment and GPS has me taking the route with the most traffic... Plumb Lane and Virginia St... She didn't boot me as a customer for being 15 mins late. I would have, haha. Small house near midtown, parking could be an issue but there's parking in the back of the house so it's all good. It's probably better to take Mill St. and Liberty if you're coming from the south end of town. Definitely would recommend her for facials. Oh and she has an awesome table that's ergonomically friendly instead of the uncomfortable flat tables. read more

I have been going to Loretta for a couple of years and she has taken the sun spots away with her facials and peels. Nothing that has ever burned my face or left it red like you see on TV. It takes more than one visit but she knows what she is doing and does an awesome job! Thank you Loretta!!! read more

Loretta is wonderful. She's flexible with your schedule, she's nice, she's kind, she's great at waxing and she's cheerful. I'd recommend her to anyone! When it comes to waxing there are 2 very important things. 1. Get the job done quickly & 2. get all the hair removed. She does a terrific job with both. read more

Ah-mazing!!! I hadn't had a wax for two years and the last person I went to I had grown accustomed to since she made it very comfortable and easy which caused me to procrastinate. Boy do I wish I would have met Loretta sooner! She is personable, friendly and she doesn't make you feel awkward at all. I'm very cautious about what goes on with my lady parts but engaging in conversation with Loretta helped me to feel comfortable right away. She's very genuine in her work and you can tell from the start she is there to serve you and do whatever you are comfortable with. Highly recommend her! And her pricing is unbeatable! Absolutely worth every penny! read more

I have dreaded brazillion waxes. The entire idea makes me sick to my stomach. Recently, I went to Loretta. Not only did the time FLY, but absolutely no pain. Let's just say plucking my eye brows hurt more! Quick, efficient and painless! How can you ask for more? Oh yeah, and super great energy! Makes you feel right at home! Will be loyal to her...Forever! read more

WOW! What an amazing experience. The studio was very clean and comfortable. I have always had issues and battled with acne and have had many side effects from products used in past facials. Loretta knew exactly what products to use and I had amazing effects from it. Her pumpkin peel is invigorating ! She is also very gentle and experienced with her waxing. Reasonable prices. I highly recommend her services to all!!!!! read more

Loretta is always warm, welcoming and professional. She is knowledgeable and accommodating with my sensitive skin. What started as a groupon has bloomed into a great friendship! I recommend her to everyone and wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Loretta is AMAZING!!! She is very nice and caring. I got a groupon special and never stopped going there. She does has fairy hands. I was pregnant and it was supposed to be very painful to wax but she managed to diminish the pain a little. I refer her to all my friends. I have a few Brazilian friends in town and, we love the brazilian wax and her price is so far the best in town. Everybody else is way overpriced! Go to her and you will not regret! =D read more

Oh, Loretta! It is so wonderful that I found her through Yelp. I moved to Reno a couple months ago and was stressed that I needed to find a new esthetician for my underarm waxing and Brazilian. I was searching through Groupon at first, and then went to Yelp. I decided to make an appointment with her from the reviews here and boy I don't have any regrets! She's such a great person and treats you so well. She'll leave the room for you to dress-down and make yourself comfortable. Then, the waxing happens and she lets you contort your body in whatever is most comfortable to you (rather than instructing you on what to do). After the waxing part is done, she'll ask you if it's okay to do some clean up on the area to pluck any hairs that the wax missed, or extract any in-growns that she can get. I have a rather high pain tolerance, so I do not think it's that bad at all. Plus, I've been getting waxed for around 5 years. I really love the detail she puts into every session that I have with her. She also uses good quality wax that doesn't give me ingrowns - the last lady I went to used a wax that always gave me ingrowns... and I mean ALWAYS. Now I don't have a SINGLE one :) Which is an awesome thing to be able to say. Needless to say, I'm a LIFE LONG client :) read more

Let me start by saying- I hate getting waxed. Hate it.Loretta is amazing! Not only is she very professional and detail oriented, she is as witty as they come. I always enjoy my time in her adorable studio. And, if you can enjoy getting waxed, thats a great aesthetician! I recommend her to any and all that want to laugh while getting tortured. read more

She is sooo awesome!!! I am so glad I was referred to Loretta by a co-worker. I went in for a wax but I was so comfortable with her I asked if I could have a facial as well...I'm so happy I did! This girl is amazing! I'll recommend everyone I know to her from now on. read more
