Tried a variety of classes on my free week. The instructors were fabulous, encouraging and up beat…read more I didn't think yoga was a good workout, but I was wrong. It works a variety of muscles, your core, involves cardio, and you will sweat like crazy. Take advantage of their free classes and try it out. Bring a yoga mat and towel or rent them there. It is good for the mind also-it helps you relax and recognize your strengths. You will stretch and bend and flex in creative ways. And yes...I walked away with sore glutes from squats and lunges. I will be back!

This gym is amazing…read more I was looking for a gym that could challenge me and I found that in Next Level. What is Next Level? Next Level is a boot camp style gym. The way the gym is set up they have 8 week sessions and everyday of that 8 weeks is different. I loved the variety of exercises and trust me you will never be "bored" during class with all the different workout combos they offer between kickboxing, body weight exercise, dumbbells, jump roping, resistance bands, rowing, steps, and ladders. I did one trial class and fell in love and signed up for 6 months because that is how amazing I thought this place was. Who is Next Level for? Next Level is for everyone! If you interested in nonstop intense workout, then check out this gym! I would recommend checking them out first to see what you are getting yourself into but you will not regret it. The owner and trainers are the best around and very focused on getting you to the next level of your fitness journey (see what I did there? okay I am done I promise)

Today I just finished my 1st 8 week session and I have to admit, I feel AMAZING. To compare my 1st…read moreweek where I wanted to puke, quit and give the middle finger to all the fit people, I accomplished my goal of not quitting and following through. I've signed up and have ran (3) 1/2 marathons, a few 10ks but never performed at my best because I would always quit in the middle of training. Thanks to the awesome trainers who push you to do better than your best, I lost a few lbs, a few inches, and I'm stronger mentally and physically. To see my testing results from the 1st 4 weeks compared to the 2nd 4 weeks made me proud of what I was able to do. I was able to double the weights I started with and knocked my rowing time down by 32 seconds. Next session is to complete 500 m in less than 2 minutes. The culture of the gym is probably one of the biggest reasons why I didn't quit. Everybody was focused of becoming better individually but always made time to motivate and encourage me to finish. There were so many times I didn't feel like working out but I went anyways because I had a whole class that kept me accountable. Joining NXLF is probably one of the best choices I've made in a long time. I have found an activity that challenges me on a daily basis and promotes a culture of people caring and looking out for each other. If anybody is interested, trial for next session is the week of July 31st. You go in, sign a waiver, sweat like you never sweated before and walk out in pain but hopefully, decide to go back for more. The owner/trainers will not push you into signing up, another perk I respect and appreciate it.

I got to try out "yoga" here. It was a 45 min class called sculpting. It was not the normal…read morestretching and focus I am used to in yoga. This was a fast paced high energy class. It did not really focus on the postures of yoga. If you want something quick, louder music, high energy instructor there is a class for that. I was not used to this but did my best to keep up and learn the moves as we went along. The quick feet movement on the yoga mats gave me a blister on the bottom of my big toe, but I could feel the workout for a couple days after. You are greeted when you walk in, you check in and get a mat or towel if you forgot yours. You can kick your shoes off or make your way down the hall to the changing/shower/bathroom. There is lockers, but you'll need your own lock. Then you make your way to the smaller room built for your class. Its was aimed to be hot, but just a mere 92 degrees. I had a few moments to enjoy the sauna room before we starting moving. Then it was all downhill. I dont know how you are to workout, sweat, and not loose your grip on the slick, sweaty yoga mat as you jump up and down and lift weights and move your butt off I felt good after the long class. I was able to go straight home and get my shower in, but this class we intense. I wish I had the ability to go back and try another one of the classes like hot Yoga or something a little less fast paced. They are all on their app, but the timing just did not work out for me.

I also attended the sculpting class the following day. I was smoked this morning and very…read moreimpressed by the class and how quickly time flies in the spread, 45m version. Recommending this class over the other I took.
