Anyway, this rarely happens but I couldn't finish my bowl. Partly because it was a large portion but honestly I wasn't feeling100%. The broth was slightly salty (as compared to the Shoyu broth) and it was rich. They put in a raw egg into the broth and added a generous amount of fatty pork. On an ordinary day, the richness wouldn't have bothered me and I would have eaten 90% or more of the bowl. I focused on eating the veggies (bean sprouts and bok choy), the ramen itself, and only some of the pork. Service was ok. I ordered the miso base ramen and it was quite tasty! My favorite part of the bowl was the marinated egg and grilled vegetables which were full flavor. Usually I'm all for chashu, but those veggies really gave the traditional pork a run for its money. My only complaint about this place is that it gets really hot on the inside. Having hot soup in the middle of summer with no AC is not fun. I was sweating during my entire meal. I wish that they had more fans upstairs to help mediate these issues.
