Double Bubble Roll Extreme roll
Barbara C.

I have tried their double bubble and extreme rolls. Absolutely amazing! Although the extreme roll did not live up to its spicy description, but that is fine. There were so many other tastest to enjoy:) The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is very nice and has a good energy. Price wise it was very well priced for the quality.

This place offered wonderful selections and high quality food. We started off with the fried pork dumplings that came with a delicious dipping sauce. My husband and I ordered 3 maki rolls each from their fusion selection. The rolls were larger than we expected (not a negative thing I assure you). If we had known, we would have ordered 2 rolls each or less. The service was friendly and helpful and the location was perfectly located on a quiet street. The special rolls were a little pricey, but once we saw how much fish you get with each roll, the price made sense!

Shabu Shabu set

Very well decorated and excellent service. They have sushi and all kinds of it as well as Shabu Shabu and sukiyaki. I had the Shabu set and it came with 200g of beef, veggies, rice and the sesame and ponzu sauces. The Shabu was delicious but the beef wasn't at all marbled like I've had at other places. But, I was super happy to have Shabu in Prague!

Excellent food, the sushi was amazing. They do not have cocktails, but the wine is cheap. The service was very slow and inattentive however. The sushi made up for the service however we did spend 2.5 hours there. I would give it 3.5 stars if that was an option @yelp. All in all would recommend to a friend, but not a best friend.

Amazing sushi in Prague. They have a menu of just California rolls then other special rolls. The waitress was very prompt with seating us.

Probably the first place where I'm willing to pay the high cost because that's how good it is. Hidden away on a side street about 5 min away from the Karlovo Namesti metro stop, this place is authentic Japanese. They have a great lunch menu as well as a number of seasonal menus and degustation dishes. I ordered the Miyabi -small, which contained grilled salmon, steamed pork in sauce, tempura, spinach with some sort of sauce and sesame, and pickled vegetables. Was not disappointed at all. The meal cost me 300 kc which is definitely expensive, but by American standards for Japanese food, the price isn't that appalling given how delicious and authentically prepared everything was. Miyabi's menu is great because it doesn't just serve sushi--they have a lot of other more authentic Japanese home-cooking style dishes. All in all, just a fantastic find and I'll definitely be back to try some more items. tldr; legit Japanese food in Prague at a higher price, but given the quality, so so worth it.

We came in on Christmas Eve and a good number of businesses close entirely through Christmas or…read morehave very limited hours. Luckily we found Takumi and were able to get a table. They have a very large menu but I opted for a Miso Ramen bowl. It was really big, super hot (temperature), and tasty. It definitely hit the spot because the ambient temperature was 27 degrees Fahrenheit! There was a wind chill also which really made things worse. Anyway, this rarely happens but I couldn't finish my bowl. Partly because it was a large portion but honestly I wasn't feeling100%. The broth was slightly salty (as compared to the Shoyu broth) and it was rich. They put in a raw egg into the broth and added a generous amount of fatty pork. On an ordinary day, the richness wouldn't have bothered me and I would have eaten 90% or more of the bowl. I focused on eating the veggies (bean sprouts and bok choy), the ramen itself, and only some of the pork. Service was ok. We had a party of six and the couldn't/wouldn't combine tables so we sat apart. It's a small restaurant so getting their attention was easy.

What a pleasant surprise to find a good ramen shop in this European town after long flights…read more Conveniently located in old town. Small but doesn't give a cramped feeling. Noodles were perfectly al dente and soups were hot. Loved the fact they gave generous amount of toppings (we are so used to a tiny bit of toppings at many places in the U.S.). We left with full anf happy tummies. The service was great, too.
