A sloppy click bait of a burger.
    Bob K.

Came here for dinner for eight one night and while it's in the middle of tourist town, expected a bit more from this trendy expensive place. Got their ramen burger which was a sloppy inedible mess. Also, they got the order wrong and it took a lot of explaining to ask them to do it again. Ramen was credible but not amazing. Chicken wings were fine, though a little arresting with teriyaki sauce. At the end of the day, we just couldn't find anything amazing about this place and probably wouldn't be back. Last resort dinner spot.

Really wanted a warm soupy meal after a cold walk around the city center at the beginning of March. Went around 7pm on a Thursday night, it was busy but was still able to get a table immediately. Overall pretty dark ambiance lighting. Got the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen, and would say that it was pretty average - not the best Ramen I've had, but definitely not the worst. Wasn't too much a fan of the broth, thought it could have been more flavorful (tasted a bit artificial). Overall price was around 470 with added tip

Good food, nice people, quick service. Not extraordinary but fancy location and quite cosy atmosphere...

Wow! Ramen was amazing and it might be the better one I had in Europe. Fantastic menu, easy to find and good price.

I am in love. I stumbled upon this little gem on my lifelong search for the most delicious ramens. They certainly had the broth right on this one! I'm a sucker for aesthetic and this quirky fun joint was exactly the kind of place I love. I also tasted the best tea I've ever had in my life and even walked away with a few because I loved them that much!

This place really is something else! Located on one of the main touristy shopping roads in Prague, this place is best described with one word: Amazing! - Amazing design (with an Amazing industrial look) - Amazingly friendly staff - Amazingly large! (Don't be fooled, the back area is gigantic too) In fact, the only thing I did not find all to amazing was (sadly) the Ramen... Don't get me wrong, they were good and the prices were more than fair for a tourist area (large portion of ramen 8-9 Euros) - but there is just this one thing that annoyed me: The quality of the meat wasn't top notch. (Far from amazing) The beef in my ramen was very fatty and chewy. Which is sad, because everything else is amazing - I really should have taken the one with chicken (Story of my life).

It's hard not to love this bistro when you walk by and see the mismatched furniture, open glass front, and hipster waiters in black and white striped shirts with blue overalls. The food is delicious, the homemade ice tea is delicious. And it's definitely worst a visit. But the prices are definitely too high for the value. You can get similar or better quality food at other Asian places nearby like Zebra, for less. I also wish they had a lunch menu. I guess that's one of the downsides of being located right near the center. But definitely a great find especially for tourists because just a couple restaurants down, towards mustek the menus are even pricier but the food is terrible and the service is rude. So the Kitchen is definitely worth a visit.

I first heard about this place from the NYT Travel article 36 hours in Prague. Being from California, I've had a huge craving for ramen for the longest time, and I set forth to find out whether or not this place was the real deal. Not bad. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and it had all the elements down. It had the fatty pork, the broth with sesame seeds, seaweed, a soft-boiled egg, ginger (although I've never had anyone put ginger in ramen), ramen noodles, etc. But just because you have everything... doesn't mean that it works together well. The thing about ramen is that there are two important components--the noodles and the soup. In this situation, the noodles were not legit ramen noodles (as to be expected.. it is Prague after all) and just flat regular, not so chewy noodles. The tonkotsu broth had great potential, but I think it lost its flavor given all the other messy elements in it. So.. while it was a well assembled bowl of ramen, the taste... eh. Not awful, but it wasn't anything to rave about it. Final bill came out to be 239kc which is alright given that it's smack in Mustek so what would you expect? While I can't rave about the ramen, it does the trick for solving my cravings for ramen. I'm quite a fan of the menu--I saw some chicken karaage amongst a lot of other classic Japanese dishes so that's worth going to and trying out. I have been really struggling with the rating. It really just strikes me as a 3 star place, but I'm tempted to give it a 4 because I know I'll be back to try out some of the other dishes. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and rate it a 4 unless my future visits are even more lackluster. Plus, it's the best I can find in Prague, so that counts for something. tldr; ramen in Prague. not great, but not terrible. it'll do

Ramen noodle restaurant with a really cool interior; absolutely loved the design when I stepped in. The food was ok, however very concerning to me was that the waiter could not say which meat the all the dishes contained. He was explaining that the dumplings should not contain pork but since the meat comes as ready paste it is possible the mixture sometimes contains pork. When choosing the Ramen noodles with chicken to specifically avoid pork, it turned out that the chicken broth contained pieces of pork minced meat even though it was not mentioned on the menu. The waiter did apologise for this mistake and replaced the dish with new one without pork, but it did not really rebuild trust in the food quality and ingredients. Otherwise I think the place might be nice for going out for drinks as the selection was quite good and included some cocktail pitchers as well. The service in general was friendly.

In Prague and you have to try something Japanese right? Well I was craving for some ramen since it's hard to come by where I live. Conclusion, the broth was rich in taste and the ramen and the right chew texture.

A good vegetarian Ramen with loads of vegetables, it could have used a few more noodles, but a nice place to sit down after a morning of walking around and you get to enjoy a dish that doesn't weigh you down.

Good quick ramen bowl which maybe a more interesting alternative to the BK across the busy street. Had the typical miso ramen recommended by the waitress. It did not disappoint. Please note they charge for tapwater that comes in a large carafe with lemon.

They have a very large menu but I opted for a Miso Ramen bowl. It was really big, super hot (temperature), and tasty. It definitely hit the spot because the ambient temperature was 27 degrees Fahrenheit! There was a wind chill also which really made things worse. Anyway, this rarely happens but I couldn't finish my bowl. Partly because it was a large portion but honestly I wasn't feeling100%. The broth was slightly salty (as compared to the Shoyu broth) and it was rich. They put in a raw egg into the broth and added a generous amount of fatty pork. On an ordinary day, the richness wouldn't have bothered me and I would have eaten 90% or more of the bowl. I focused on eating the veggies (bean sprouts and bok choy), the ramen itself, and only some of the pork. Service was ok. We had a party of six and the couldn't/wouldn't combine tables so we sat apart. It's a small restaurant so getting their attention was easy.

Noodles were perfectly al dente and soups were hot. Loved the fact they gave generous amount of toppings (we are so used to a tiny bit of toppings at many places in the U.S.). It's way different. The price of the meal was acceptable for the location, and I was filled up by my bowl. The noodles were great, correctly cooked and I was able to collect them up no problem with them breaking off from being too soft. The ramen was also very hearty containing all the ingredients stated. I had Salmon ramen without Egg because personally I dislike eggs. The salmon was cooked and tasted very good with the whole meal. I also tried the house made line cucumber water, which wasn't really my thing. Now I knocked one star off for the fact on my second visit to this place my order was made wrong and I tried the udon noodles which I found to be a tad too oily for me. When ordering speak clearly and for added insurance POINT directly at what you want and say it. The restaurant plays loud music so telling your order should be crystal clear. All in all its a good place to grab a hearty bowl of ramen for the price of 219Kč (8€~) at the time of writing.

Service was pretty chaotic and unorganized though. Once we had ordered we were asked several more times wether we had already chosen. Then, once we had eaten we couldn't manage to get anyone to our table to get the bill. The music that you can hear from the street is simply too loud when you're inside. Also, the tables look super cool but make you feel like a Hobbit while you're eating. I almost felt like I had big and hairy feet as well, the whole experience was very authentic! The prices are OK for the center but not really for the value you're getting. So: Nah, not a big fan.
