    Any gluten free options?

I always ask them to make chicken and broccoli and Thai Basil gluten free for me and it's never an issue. They are really good about GF requests.

Trying this place once more after a long hiatus…read more PARKING - in a strip mall so ample parking is available ENTRANCE - there is a host and cashier right to the left. The set up must facilitate take out orders HOST/WAITER - it was lunchtime so our waiter was wearing two hats LOL. We were seated anywhere we liked so took a booth. AMBIANCE - on the nicer side with the booths being U Shaped and comfortable seating for sure. The color scheme was on the red side. Hence the name I guess LOL. There were quite a few tables with a sushi bar work station straight to the back I also noticed a full bar to the right of where you walk in. Not a plethora of seating but when crowded you could eat at the bar I suspect MENU - definitely fusion with a bit more Japanese options than Chinese. They offer various appetizers and for sushi a lot of individual selections from a full dinner or pick your own pieces or rolls. For lunch they have a nice 3 rolls of your choice for $16 which is a good deal. FOOD - I tried a tuna dumpling that I have to say was unique and excellent. The sushi rolls were not the greatest, I've had better but not awful. They could give you more wasabi and ginger was my only pet peeve The salad came with the lunch special and it was very good and fresh. BTW you have a choice between soup or salad LIBATIONS - they had a nice selection of beer. Any mixed drinks plus saki. We ordered the kirin beer which came as a tap beer rather than a bottle RESTROOMS - they have one for men and one for women but they consider them unisex so you can use either The bathroom was not small and was clean. SERVICE - the waiter we had was very nice and attentive PRICE - for two people with 2 beers, two entrees, and 1 appetizer, the bill with tax was $77 so $$$ is about right

I am very pleased with this establishment and will absolutely return when I make my way back to CT…read more Everything I had was above my expectations and extremely delicious. I had the following and do recommend each of them: -Bahn mi: authentic ingredients, only negative is there's no clean way to eat it but the bread is perfectly toasted, the pickled veggies are crunchy and refreshing. -Grapefruit tea -Pork belly buns, I was so pleased at the quality of the meat. You could practically drink it. The flavor overall was fantastic -Simple Pho: broth is very pleasant and reminiscent of my favorite pho place so this really stood out to me. Added an egg which was perfectly soft boiled. The ambiance was bar-like on one end, and had a separate nice dining area with Interesting light fixtures and decor. Wait staff was very kind!

This was our first time visiting, and my daughter and I really enjoyed trying the pho. I went with…read morethe combo, and she chose the beef slice and beef ball. The broth was nice--if you're used to Japanese ramen or Taiwanese beef noodle soup, you might expect something richer, but this is exactly how pho should taste. By pho standards, it's a solid dish, though the beef ball could be better. The pork belly bao was excellent and full of flavor. My wife ordered salmon with ramen noodles and said the salmon was perfectly seared; she loved it. We also tried a few boba teas, and they were all tasty. Our total was just over $90, which felt fair. This is a great spot worth supporting--a unique and satisfying meal. Great service and ambience.

Oh boy where do I start.... The beginning…read more My first experience at Sushi Palace was at the location in Hamden CT (see my earlier review). I have recently discovered the location in Orange CT and ohh my gooooodness am I happy that I did! This place is my happy place, my safe space and all of my hearts desire. The servers are very friendly and speedy. The place is very clean and inviting. I have already eaten at this location probably ten times since discovering it and if my memory serves me right there has been no mess up's with the food orders (as often can happen with all you can eat sushi places). Now to get to what's important -- the sushi. It's truly impeccable. So fresh, the portions are very generous. As you can see in the pictures there isn't much else you can ask for!!! Truly worth every penny. 1000000/5 stars. When my friend and family come to visit this is where I bring them! Every sushi lover should experience this experience! *** recently ordered Sushi Palace on Uber Eats to treat myself at work. It was just as fresh and delicious as the dine-in experience. Same generous portions of fish to rice ratio and same quality. Best sushi in CT so far!

Trying this place…read more PARKING - very ample as it is in a strip mall on route 1 ENTRANCE - we were greeted by a waitress in the front and seated AMBIANCE - basically ok. Nothing fancy. Many tables but a small sushi bar with four chairs only. The tables are basic not fancy. MENU - they have a regular menu which is small. Their claim to fame is an all you can eat menu. SERVICE - nice and polite but kind of like a fast food experience. No small chit chat interactions. SUSHI - decent quality and offerings from the all you can eat menu which PRICE - kind of a plus with all you can eat at $30 a person OVERALL - for me a solid three and a half. A four would require more congenial service.
