Fresh fish every time, unique dishes, open late, love this place ! They also offer a huge variety of dishes.

Picked up food from here and as soon as it was opened at home I hear screaming from my girlfriend. A live slug. I called the restaurant immediately and the best they offer is to bring it back for 20%. There's no point in even bringing it back, because at this point my girlfriend doesn't trust it and doesn't want to eat from this location ever again. read more

Food is Always fresh! Service is great . One of my favorites ! Highly recommend this restaurant

Excellent sushi! They currently only offer takeout and delivery but the sushi is amazing. I ordered takeout and was impressed with how great the staff was in accommodating my request for a special roll not on the menu. I ordered sweet potato tempura with avocado and it was INSANELY GOOD!! Everything tasted very fresh. I highly recommend ordering. The prices are reasonable and don't forget to add a side of eel sauce which was so good! read more

Misaki Sushi is honestly a solid local sushi bar. Their prices are more than fair for the food quality and portion sizes! They offer a wide variety of menu selections and the fish is very fresh. The sushi rolls have a good fish to rice ratio and the super special appetizers are deliciously creative. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is welcoming. The yellowtail jalapeño and the viaduct appetizers are definitely worth a try. read more

I've ordered take-out about four times, and I keep coming back. The sushi is usually fresh and delicious; and it's a decent price for the quality. In my last order, the rice was dry, so I'm bringing them down a star for that. Other than that, the people behind the counter are friendly. They get orders out quickly, and if you order online, you get free rolls for larger orders. Overall, it's a decent spot. read more

A classy setting in an unlikely spot in Woodrow Plaza. There was covid spacing and comfortable seating. Service was prompt and friendly. We had "golden shrimp" of the chef's menu as an appetizer. Shrimp were plump and prepared deliciously! 2 special rolls (lobster tempura and "hole in one") rounded out the meal. My mango mojito was very good. Giving them 5 stars even though the waitress forgot to give me one free ice cream for checking in. I was too full and lazy to call her on it! We'll be back read more

We found this place by accident one night. Drinks were terrific as was the menu. The gyoza was great as were the spicy kani rolls, shrimp tempura rolls and California rolls . Going back to try more soon . read more

I absolutely love this place! The Sushi is fresh! The drinks are strong and the service is fantastic. The only downside is the bar is very small, probably a good thing because it would be dangerous on a night where the Zombies go down quickly read more

I'm a Queens girl at heart, but if they keep making sushi as fresh as this, I may have to trek out to Staten Island more often. $15 toll for the Verrazano bridge? No problem, car pool. I celebrated a girlfriend's birthday with a group of 8 plus two babies on a Saturday afternoon. Wait staff was friendly, accommodating and goes above and beyond to make your dining experience an enjoyable one. Thank you Steven for being a wonderful host. One thing that pops out about this establishment is that it's clean and neat. Decor was modern and contemporary (love the bathroom btw, gives me ideas on my future home). Alright, on to the star of the show: the delicious food! Mind you, we were all very hungry so don't judge! We ordered (muliple of each): The Deliciousness: Duck salad Rock shrimp Spicy tuna sandwich Misaki roll Torched salmon belly Toro Lamb chops Spicy scallop roll Spicy tuna roll And about 6-8 other rolls... The favorites: Scallop sashimi with uni on top - served on top of a slice of lemon, this dish had so many levels. Scallop was like buddahhh and the uni was so fresh! Eel dragon roll - with spicy tuna inside. Normally, it's drown in soy sauce but this was very simple and minimalistic approach. Something so bare but it showcased all its flavors at its best. One of the best rolls I've had here. Pleasantly surprised. K-mac sliders - crunchy semi salty waffer acts as the "bun" sandwiching avacodo, spicy tuna, rice and topped with caviar. This was oh so tasty!! And what a creative way of putting everything together. We had three orders and it was gobbled up within minutes. Yeah, we're foodie gangsters like that. A must get. The chef did an amazing job at exercising his creativity and skills. You really can't go wrong with what you order. Kudos to you Misaki! read more

Consistently good sushi. I always order and the food comes fast and it's always good. Recommend!

I love this place because their food is really good. However, the service isn't so great anymore. There's a waitress that works there that clearly hates her job and it shows. She is not polite, does not check to see if we need anything and the restaurant loses money because if she would stop by at least one time, we would order more sake and food. We try to get her attention but her back is turned to the television at the register and we end up finishing our meal without anything else. So because of the service, which I've given several chances for them to fix it by going often, this place lost stars for me Hopefully the owner could talk to the wait staff about being more aware. read more

Local sushi spot located inside of Woodrow plaza. The parking lot is a zoo due to many other stores which makes parking troublesome. The ambiance is colorful and intimate inside; good for a date. We ordered the vegetable fried rice which was delicious and filling with many fresh vegetables inside. There fried rice sauce is also an amazing plus to the rice or sushi rolls. However I do like Genkis' sauce a bit more. Prices are cheap for rolls and the lunch specials are an even better deal. Two rolls and a soup or salad for 6.75$/ three rolls 8.75$. I have also tried the basil chicken entree before which was extremely flavorful. There was a check in offer for free ice cream but we did not take this offer and will save it for next time. The tuna pizza is also amazing! It is torched on top giving it a crunchy and blackened taste. read more

This place is thee best in Staten Island, not only is their food crazy delicious and fresh but they care about their customers! My street was closed for construction and I didn't know about it , the driver walked from 2 huge blocks just yo deliver my food. I was so thankful for this I would have walked to meet him there but it was drizzling and I have a 3 month old . They didn't even ask me to meet up with driver they took care of it to the fullest! 1000% recommend this restaurant. Iv ordered from them at lease 50 times since April never had I had a problem or incorrect order read more

Very good and always fresh. They have lots of different sushi rolls and specialty appetizers that are fantastic and I haven't seen elsewhere

It's ridiculous and the staff who picked up the phone is lack of common sense. I called to order two lunch special total 6 rolls. I started to say 2 spicy tuna, 2 eel avocado...Then she stopped me and say that's 4 rolls there but lunch special is 3... I was like what do you mean I'm ordering two lunch special so 6 rolls. She started to sigh loudly and said "OMG" over the phone and gave me attitude. She was like then how do you want to box them..I was like what the f**k do you mean, just 6 rolls i don't care? I'm not Uber serving customers or something...I told her why would I care? Totally DISGUSTING AND NASTY attitude. read more

Definitely 2nd best sushi spot on Staten Island. The rolls are delicious and the quality of the fish is great. I especially like their Sushi entree B mixed with a few special rolls. Definitely on the mid range scale price wise compared to ocean sushi in annadale. Priced right for the quality of food. Service is great and staff is friendly. All in all a great sushi spot. read more

I called them for pick up order today, Jul 2, 2021. The fxxx guy yelled at us in the call, terrible service as always, it is not the first the fxxx service people make that attitudes, don't go to there if you don't want to make a mess of your beautiful day. read more

I've eaten in a few times and ordered out as well, which was FAST delivery. The service has always been extremely good. The atmosphere is good, well lit and decorated, with country music that's a bit of a surprise for a sushi place, but I like country so it's a pleasant change. The food hasn't disappointed, from appetizers to soup and salads, mains, rice and noodles, and sashimi...nothing has blown me away, but the Spicy Tuna Sandwiches are a pretty solid go to! read more

My fiancé has told me about this new sushi place near his home few weeks ago, and finally we got a chance to give it a tried on the July 4th weekend. My first impression about this place is very fresh and clean. As we sit down, I notice some fresh flowers in a little vase on the table. Beside the flowers, I also noticed that the salad was very cold and crisp. Before the meal, the waitress gave use some hot towel to clean our hands. These small details tell a a lot about the place. We have ordered Chilean Sea Bass, Oh My God Roll and the Basil Chicken. I would say all the food are above average. read more

Definitely an above average sushi restaurant. Like a previous yelper said, I too could not have imagined giving a sushi restaurant in Woodrow 5 starts but it is well deserved. From the outside, the restaurant doesn't look special, but when you walk inside it has a trendy, intimate atmosphere. Very clean and modern décor and colorful lighting. Service is impeccable, everyone is extremely attentive and polite, which personally adds to the dining experience. The warm hand-towels they offer before you order is a great touch, makes the experience more enjoyable and you do not feel like your being rushed in and out. Its those little things that count. As far as the menu goes, they have a wide selection with some very interesting combinations. I recommend asking about their specials, those are extremely delicious. I HIGHLY recommend the: "Dragon Balls" from their specials for an appetizer. I really hope that the special will be a permanent addition to the menu. Side from the gorgeous presentation, the dish was king crab with shrimp mixture covered in avocado with a light dressing. It forms good sized "dragon balls" which makes it a great dish to share. & I have always wanted to try Live Uni, for whatever reason I have always put it off, but lo and behold Misaki was offering it on their daily specials. Needless to say it was everything I expected and more, the presentation was outstanding and taste was as fresh as can be. If you have never experienced live uni and you are feeling adventurous, I do recommend giving it a try. As an entrée, my boyfriend and I ordered the Sushi and Sashimi Lover entrée. It is severed with 5 pcs of sushi, 10 pcs sashimi, one Naruto roll, one salmon avocado roll and one rainbow roll for $34. As value goes, it is a great deal. Very filling and fresh. Only con was the rainbow and salmon avocado roll was very poorly rolled making it very hard to pick up without everything falling out, and they were on the slightly boring/lower quality side. But that was forgiven as everything else in the meal was top notch. Overall, I think I found my new go-to sushi spot on Staten Island. Everything that I have tried was unique and executed flawlessly. I will definitely be becoming a regular here. read more
