The pepperoni was miniature pepperoni and there were not that many on the pizza, which was disappointing. I liked the idea of the miniature pepperoni but I would suggest more pepperoni. The building is absolutely stunning. From the mural along the side with some Indiana favorites to the very tasteful woodwork inside. All four of us thought our food was really good. How often does that happen? The newest menu item was the Salisbury steak. Might be the best I've ever had. There is a little kick to it. Nothing that little water doesn't take care of. haha when I mentioned the cake to the waitress, she said it's probably the goat cheese and the mashed potatoes. I never knew a goat cheese being spiced. But, hey, I really enjoyed it! If I lived in this area, I would frequent it a lot.

When I walked in I asked where it was and the security staff told me to go to the 10th floor. You have to walk through the hotel part and go up. Once you get off I promise you, you feel that you are no longer in Terre Haute. I honestly felt like I was in Charlotte, NC. The view is insane looking at the greenery of what makes Indiana so pretty in the summer time (I can't wait to go back during fall to take in the view then too). The music was a total vibe. It was R&B, Chill POP (is that a thing, don't know how else to describe). There is an outdoor patio area where there was a guy playing live music and people sitting on couches relaxing and watching while enjoying a cocktail. I sat at the bar because I was by myself and certainly didn't want to take up an entire couch and leave that for others that may have larger parties. As soon as I sat down my server came to take my order. While I wasn't really planning to eat, once I looked at the menu the Chicken Nachos were calling my name. Even though I am counting calories, I had to order. Man, when they came out they were huge and so so good. You can order the chicken blackened which I did and man it was great. I just sat and enjoyed my very caloric nachos and a cocktail and just really took it in. I don't live in Terre Haute, I live in Indianapolis, but I spend a ton of time in Terre Haute for work. They have the same awesome menu and I got Irish Stew, side salad with mixed greens... and sweet tea. So we each got our normal dishes: wedge salads with extra ranch and extra bacon, ribeyes, and waffle fries. We also tried the sliders for the first time which was the best part of the meal this time. The salad came out with balsamic glaze which it never has before and the menu doesn't advertise this. The bacon was cold and not the same taste, the ranch was definitely different and not for the better. Then the steaks even had an off taste! They tasted mesquite or something-never like this before. It's just funny it tasted so bad when we had a freebie but wonderful all the other times. Surely they wouldn't do that on purpose? Because making the food worse won't get customers to return.
