We were in the area, craving some Mexican food, and we saw this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try! The restaurant is a small storefront. They have nice red booths on one wall and black wall booth with chairs on the other side of the booth on another wall. It is a kid friendly restaurant they have kids sized portions and a high chair. They handed us menus with no pricing on them, and some chips in salsa in a basket. My husband ordered the Carne Asada mini burrito and it was the perfect size for him. He said it was really good and he would order again. I ordered two of the veggie tacos. I wanted them Mexican style with no tomatoes and I wanted to make sure put slices of avocado on them as well. They came topped with rice, lettuce and some cream. They were very delicious. Exactly what I was expecting. I love trying different local spots. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. I loved how welcoming she was. She was running the register,taking orders, ringing people up, and checking on everyone. It's a small seating area, but just enough for the amount of business Mis Tacos 2 gets at the time I was there. I was in between takeout and dining in because I wasn't sure if there was room for me. As I was deciding what to get, it cleared out a bit. I chose to dine in. The salsa was delicious. The chips were a little on the crispier side for me. I didn't mind it, but I'm sure others may prefer a thinner chip. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with asada and it came with rice and beans. The beans were beans. Not much to say about that. The rice was a little dry for me. The main course was near perfect. I like my eggs a little runny, but these were cooked fully. Either way, I was satisfied with what I chose to get. The flavors were all there and I can't wait to try their other menu items. Overall, this is a nice small spot with good food and service. I love this place, the people are always so nice. The lady up front is always so sweet everytime I come in. Very cozy spot. I always get their quesabirria tacos and add on sides of beans and rice, and their portions are huge. Even the limes are big slices. It's located pretty hidden but a very welcoming and comfortable place with also very good food with it. read more

Came for dinner on a Wednesday night, service was quick and friendly. I ordered a tamal de rajás con queso, one gordita de nopales and another one de rajas con queso as well as a Champurrado. The Champurrado was very good and perfect for the chilly weather. The tamal was huge, soft and moist, and spicy. The gordita de nopales was big and stuffed, The Nopales had a lot of flavor and were very soft. But the gordita de rajas con queso was the best, it so cheesy and the rajas were grilled and cooked to perfection. My mom had a taco de al pastor and carne asada, she really enjoyed the al pastor and the horchata, but wasn't a big fan of the steak taco. Wasn't a big fan of the chips and salsa options but my food didn't really need salsa. Will definitely keep coming back for the gorditas. read more

Quesabirria!!! All you have to know, and they do it very well. Lots of extra cilantro and chopped onion to toss into your little pockets of heaven. One star off because their lengua and salsa verde were pretty bland. None of the meaty flavor for the tongue and the verde had no character. But man that birria! read more

The food is super flavorful, fresh and a great price for big portions. Plus, delicious horchata to wash it all down with! The guacamole was awesome and my favorite is finding some extra salty chips in the bag. We got a good portion of guac compared to what Chipotle offers and for a fraction of the cost. Whenever I'm at Costco I make it a point to work in my lunch or dinner around this place. I've looked all over the area, (La Taqueria which is very good too), but for a good burrito I think this place wins out. The meat is cut from a spit fresh at time of ordering and I've found the meat here to be the most flavorful and juicy. The days of cheap burritos appear to be over, and it's a bit pricey. That said, you will get the quality for what you pay and realize the extra few dollars spent are well worth it. So we go in and we're politely seated. Then we noticed there were no menu boards behind the counter. No prices. Then we got a menu. No prices. So the girl told us the pricing, and we ordered and it sounded pretty high. Long story short, burrito and a horchata $16 plus tip. Burrito $13. Makes us wonder if there was some discrimination. Picked up an order on a Friday night, there was 1 woman on register and one man cooking. They did a GREAT job despite being severely understaffed. Waited about 25 minutes for a mini steak burrito and chicken quesadilla and the food was good enough to justify the wait. I have never had a bad experience while eating at this restaurant! I found out about it pretty recently and have already eaten here about 8 times with family. The tacos are so simple - meat, cilantro, and onion - but they are s o delicious! Even when I order chicken tacos, they are never dry and they are so juicy. The pickled carrots are very nice, they're softer than I expected them to be! Their horchata is very sweet and satisfying and their large cup is MASSIVE! Their popsicles are very good as well! I was very indecisive over the phone as to if I wanted a Birria taco or a "Queso Birria" which is a quesadilla with Birria in it. Upon my arrival they gave me a free Queso Birra because they wanted me to try it!! So nice of them!! They didn't have to! The tacos were OUTSTANDING! And the Queso Birria...FAGGETA BOUT IT! So good!
