I told the stylist that I wanted loose beachy curls and she did pretty much what I wanted. However, I was disappointed that it did not last beyond a day after the service. When I have gotten blow-outs at other shops, my hair usually stays fabulous for 3-4 days afterwards. So, for me the price was not worth looking good for just 2 days. I am not sure if I will go back next time I am looking for a shampoo & style.

I was also able to purchase hair from them as well and that was super convenient. Not knowing where I was going, I arrived at the salon a little late but Jade was understanding and still was polite and professional. The salon itself is nicely decorated. One thing that really stood out to me was that a hair wash was still included in the service. Like that's so unheard of now which I don't understand why. Jade did an amazing job on my hair. My hair was laid OK?! I felt like a new woman and received several compliments as soon as I walked out of the salon door. I highly recommend them both. The beads are metal and should be changed out every cpl of move ups. I would even personally bring in my own beads for her to change out. This wasn't being done either!!! I had numerous beads that were showing metal, which will ruin your natural hair. I called the salon and they offered for Stacy to "move" my beads up for free. Why would I want to come in for that when I already paid her $230 for obviously absolutely nothing. I called the salon back again and left a message and never heard a response. Her reviews are turned off on her salon page on FB (which should be a red flag). If you comment under a post on her hair page that is not favorable she deletes it and blocks you. I have made 2 attempts to have her resolve the issue and she has completely ignored me. I had a new hair extension stylist consult and the stylist that does my color look at what she did and both told me that she did not do the maintenance required. My hair was shoulder length and because she left worn out metal beads in my hair it was severely damaged. My hair had to be cut to my jaw line from her negligence. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! Upon completion of the redo service, I was told that I needed to buy a specific shampoo and conditioner to preserve the Keratin. Since I was told about this beforehand this time, it was a better experience than last time, when I wasn't even told about needing specific aftercare products. Update: so I go back and follow their instructions and purchase the specific products and use them as directed and my hair is still not straight. This Keratin does not work.

I was told by multiple stylists the work Locks and Lashes did was horrendous. The micro extensions were placed on thin pieces of hair, so the extensions would inevitably fall out fast. I remember a stylist watch Kay put in my extensions, and she whispered "you're doing this really fast...". She did it fast because she overbooked. The extensions were also placed in no pattern- trained stylist knows to place these extensions in rows, so it looked TERRIBLE and caused my hair to get tangled and matted up. Kay: I asked to lighten my hair only enough not to damage it. I specifically said do not overdo it as I knew it was damaged. Finally, Kay "misunderstood" what services I wanted during our initial consultation. I said I wanted the brown under my hair blonde, but Kay still scheduled a partial highlight (this does not cover the bottom of the hair). She did this because she's money hungry and tries to get in as many clients as possible per day. Masks were not required during the appointment, and the salon was at full capacity (and this was days after salons re-opened). Locks and Lashes clearly does not care about COVID protocols, as they broke several guidelines during my appointment. It felt like they were trying to maximize revenue and did not care about the safety of their clients, nor do they take pride in the work they do. If you're a victim of terrible extensions from this salon, *Amor Beauty by Andreia* is professionally trained in microbead extensions, and she fixed all the terrible work this salon did at a very reasonable price. The first red flag (that I ignored) was that the stylist refused to provide any kind of estimate for time or cost. I was very upset after my last visit but because we ran out of time and the stylist was working on another client already, I decided to wait until my next visit to address my concerns. Rather than providing a solution, the stylist had two answers: 1) I was my fault for not speaking up in front of her client or calling the next day and when I mentioned that the lavender color I asked for was not applied to the proper places, or really applied at all... 2) it would've washed out anyway Which is NOT the point. There are so many ways she could've handled things to salvage the relationship or at least so I wasn't furious when I left, but rather than saying "this is what I can do for you today to fix it, would that work?" When I told her my budget she just shrugged and then charged me full price for a haircut and let me walk out the door in tears. At one point, I even said, if I were you, I would've at least offered to tone my hair and reapply some of color I asked for (again, not for free, but within the budget I was willing to spend today).
