I love this place and all the staff. I live in Lake Wylie and will make the drive every 2 weeks or so to get my lashes done with Rebecca, one of the owners. I adore her and no one can do the amazing job that she can. She's a doll and to know her is to love her. She brings a peaceful yet uplifting energy to everyone she comes in contact with. I've referred several people there and the great thing about that is that using their referral program , I get a discount as well as the person I referred there. SCORE!! Kristin is the other Co-owner and does an amazing job on my hair. If she's not available I have gone to the other girls Lilly & Leanne & always walk out feeling great. They offer so much more than hair needs and amazing individual lash extensions..... you will hands down get the best spray tan in town. They have celebrity clientele that come there prior to fashion shows, local events, body building competitions, beauty pageants to get that gorgeous tan/glow because they know it's the best. Even if you are like me and not celebrity clientele, they sure make you feel like it. Go to their website and sign up for the email list to get notices of all the amazing offers they have and new services. You don't just get a haircut, you get tips and education and suggestions on what products will be best for your hair style, type and desired look. They use an amazing product line called Living Proof, Co-owned by the lovely and talented Jennifer Aniston. It's transforming is all I can say. You can buy the products there and it's so affordable and less than buying them elsewhere. They treat their clients like family and when it's time to go I hate leaving. These girls aren't just interested in making you even more beautiful , they care deeply for the community and giving back. They are heavily involved in raising supporting charity events and raising money to help with cancer research. They participate in many causes and I don't think you'll find that in too many salons these days. Just check out their website! Also, you MUST ask about the Esthetican services and products. They are incredible and affordable. In this Glamorous Salon you are made to feel like the Star. It's all about you. I will drive 1-1.5 hours thru 77 traffic to see the best! So much talent under one roof! How fortunate for me ( and you ). Oh and their Blow outs are a treat. Go for it. Your hair will thank you. I can't say enough positive things about the ladies at Gl'amour. I booked them for my wedding day hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and mom. Every single one of us was thrilled with the result and got exactly what we requested. One of my bridesmaids gets anxious when having anything near her eyes, and they were so patient with her and talked her through every step. She ended up looking fantastic (as did all the others!!) and loved her makeup. We had the salon to ourselves and started around 11am and our makeup and hairstyles lasted well over 12 hours! I go here consistently for cut and color . I stick with one hairdresser so I won't have any surprises. Courtney does my hair and she does a great job . The owner is super sweet and she does eyelash extensions too . I has it dine a couple times and she did a great job. The salon is decorated very well , stylish and had a glamorous feel without the high prices. read more

I had a bad experience at this blow out bar. Where I live in DC a blow out will last 2-3 days. My blow out from glamour had completely fallen out by the time I got home... And I was on my way to a wedding. Talk about stress. I don't remember the name of my stylist but she was not one of the co-owners or anything. She also specifically said she was from Colombia. Also annoying that they offered the other ladies at the salon wine but they would only offer me coke... I'm 25 Maybe it was just the weather or my stylist was having a bad day but I wouldn't suggest this place. read more

I am just so loving this place as of fairly recently. I started here with a blow out and make up for my engagement party- for the price, you REALLY cannot go wrong! Now I am getting my hair done with Liliana who is wonderful! I recently had my eyelashes done by Rebecca and I have had so many compliments since! I think my favorite part of this place thus far, is that you can LITERALLY walk in fresh out of the shower, with unwashed hair, and get a complete package to make your glam for a night out or special occasion! Some things seem super reasonable and undercut other local places with price while a few are a bit higher and I wouldn't necessarily say they are the best in the area. read more

I arrived at my appointment time and was told, my stylist was running 45minn-1hr behind and had 3 other customers she was working on. It is my first time at this salon and I did not want the stylist to rush doing my hair. She offered to have me come the next day but I had a prior commitment. I called to reschedule and they told me the computer was not working and they would call me back. After I did not receive a call back, I called again several times and left voice mail from 3pm-7pm and no response. As a new customer, I guess I will chalk this up to bad Karma and not return. After driving 30 minutes to this recommended salon, it was a total waste of my time and time off work to have an over booked stylist!!!! read more

I went to Glamour Bar Blow twice. The first time it was amazing. It was so good that I decided I would travel an hour away to get my hair done again there. This time though I guess the hair dresser remembered me but not my hair or wants (though she cut me off when I tried to explain what I wanted in my hair). I went in for a trim and came out missing 3-4 inches off my hair. I have really curly hair so I do not do short or midlength style. I actually went in with my hair curly and in a bun. I told her how much I like buns because I do not have time to fix my hair. Now, my hair is super short and will not get in to a bun. This ends up taking a lot of time out of my day to fix my hair. I never cried over my hair before until that day. I never had a hair dresser disregards my needs before. Additionally, I really do not know they style of haircut she gave me, its choppy and not even. I called to talk to the manager and they seemed to be very interested and concerned about my hair. Though, after I called them back they never returned my phone call again. I know have short hair that won't fit into a bun. Also, wasted $50.00 for my hair and two hour time to drive there. I really liked the place, however, I did not like my second experience. My recommendation would be just keep telling them what you want even if they act like they remember you. read more

I love Gl'amour Blowout Bar & More! I travel 40 minutes to get my hair done there and I wouldn't go anywhere else! The salon is so cool and trendy and the staff is extremely friendly. I have never been so pleased with my hair before since Courtney has began styling it. She is amazingly talented!
