My last hair cut was 2 years ago. I went in excited because I wanted to go short and wanted a quirky cut. Bailey is a very sweet girl but I'm betting she hasn't been out of school long. It's hard to tell how good a haircut is until you get home and shampoo and style it. I was shocked to say the least. Hair stylist was my profession for years so I do know what I'm talking about. My hair is extremely uneven, one side is longer with sprigs that stick longer than the rest and my family noticed that right away. That said also hasn't been layered while the other is layered. The back isn't stacked like I wanted it and I wanted a progressive angle on the front from just below my eyebrow getting longer then blending with the rest. I've got layers some places and none in others. I'm guessing you can tell how my hair looks. I'm embarrassed to leave my house or have visitors. My sister said for me to go back and make her fix it. Why would I when she didn't know what she was doing in the first place. I went from hair hanging below my breast to just below my ears. If she cut it again and I had to have that repaired I might end up with a severe man's cut. No thank you. In the end I paid $65 including the tip and I like most these days can't afford to spend money frivolously but in this instance what else can I do. read more

Yes! Found my new salon. Amanda did an amazing job, she really took the time to discuss what I wanted. I have lots of thick, wavy hair, so finding someone who can tame it takes talent. Laura has 40 plus years of experience and I have to say she is the first stylist that has ever taken the time to do a consultation and really listen and understand what I wanted. Also steer me in the right direction with color. Not only did she take the time to understand, she was also very mindful of the cost but by no means did she cut corners. I left there with beautiful hair colored and cut exactly the way I envisioned it. It looks rich, shiny, healthy and beautiful. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone!! Where do I even start. I chose this salon based on seemingly good reviews, but boy was that a joke. I spent two days there getting my hair done. The first day I stayed over 5 hours and left with sopping wet hair, I guess blow outs aren't included in a $240 hairdo. I got home and blow dryed my hair to see to straight lines of blonde across the front of my head. I instantly called back to complain that my hair was not done correctly and the manager had me come in the next day for a correction. After another 5+ hours it STILL wasn't what I originally wanted, but I wasn't staying any longer to get my hair more messed up. They put semi permanent color over the straight line of blonde to blend it & guess what. THE COLOR WASHED OUT IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. so i'm back to square one with straight lines of blonde right in front of my head. It's honestly just sad that i paid so much money for something that I genuinely hate right now. Now i have to worry about finding another salon and paying more money to have it fixed by a PROFESSIONAL. I couldn't have explained what i wanted more clearly, i literally showed the girl doing my hair VIDEOS of what i wanted and she still couldn't catch on. I was too nice at this salon, surely anyone else would throw a fit after leaving looking like a fool. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want your hair screwed up! read more

Laura at Mirror Mirror is absolutely amazing! She was able to correct a really bad coloring job that someone did and shaped my hair beautifully. My sister and I had an appointment while I was visiting her in town. They were very responsive to our arrival and very timely. Danielle was excellent. She took the time to get to know what I was looking for and gave suggestions where appropriate. I have had bad experiences with hair dressers giving advice and sounding condescending. She gave advice that was helpful and I loved my final look. She did not over style my hair into a style that I would never be able to recreate. She also educated on proper haircare and all the techniques that she was using for the final look. She was professional and friendly with good conversation throughout our experience. Coming here from California I was nervous to actually let someone else cut my hair because I've only had one person cut my hair all my life , I read reviews about Danielle and they were true she does an amazing job , she respects your hair and how much you'd like to cut off or what you want to do with it .
