The owner knew I was upset but still charged me full price(she wasn't my nail tech) I had asked for a French tip and she couldn't do it so I settled with the soft pink she had previously put on and she had to have given me 10 coats of polish. TERRIBLE place for nails!! I got a manicure and it was terrible. But I decided to give them another try. The next time I came, I came with a few other people. The staff was extremely rude. They wouldn't talk to us at all. They ignored our requests and they rushed the services. I asked for Gel and they painted my nails with normal polish. Fast forward, I decided to give them one more chance. I got a gel pedicure and it's awful! When I told the lady about it she didn't say a word. If I could leave this place zero stars I would. I took my mom and my friend who's in stage 4 cancer here so we could all get pedicures. They told me it would be a 30 min wait, cool. I was gonna go get dog food in the meantime. So we get back in about 20 min and 3 white older looking ladies were sitting in the waiting area like us. They said they walked in 10 min ago and didn't expect the wait. So when the nail tech said "the 3 reservations can come now" we stood up. But the three women already were walking over. I said "what" the nail tech said just wait. I said but we made an appt and she legit told me "I said what I said" and we left. Maybe the person we are with looks not so well and maybe she took us off as we were poor. But I promise you, we would've probably gotten the most upgraded package and left them the best tip they prob had a month. I should've known better when I realized the lights and wording isn't there because it's run down and burnt out. I would say never support a business. Went for a second time. I got a pedicure and it was very rushed. I was not asked which pedicure I wanted. The nail tech painted on my skin, cured the gel polish, and said all done. I asked if she could clean up the paint on my skin... so she took out cuticle clippers and clipped my skin to get the paint off! None of my nails are the same shape. The massage was OK. I get my nails done every other week. I'm looking for a new go to salon, so I decided to try out Miracle nails, since they're open Sundays. I made my appointment a few days in advance and was happy their schedule was flexible. However, I wasn't impressed. My pedicure hurt, it wasn't relaxing at all because she was filling my skin more than my nails. She rubbed my legs a little but skipped my feet. I sat down to get my fingers done by the other lady, and was told she didn't have time to do a manicure, only color change. That's why I made an appointment! She said my simple design was too hard so she did flowers instead that were just ok. Overall, my nails look fine, but I'm going to keep looking for a better place. read more

Honestly the worst quality acrylic nails I've ever had done, and way too overpriced for such sloppy work. I usually get very intricate designs done at the Carson Mall for under $40, but here I payed $45 for a full black medium almond set (very basic, took about 30 minutes to complete) My lady's shaping was awful I had to shape some nails myself. After I corrected her a few times she began to get aggressive and handled me harshly. She left my hands dirty, black acrylic powder hardened all around my nail beds. It was atrocious. It has only been 2 days and the nails are coming off naturally. I'll never return to this salon, incredibly disappointed with the service. BY far worst pedicure I've ever received!!!! My usual places I go to were booked out so my girlfriend and I decided to take a chance at miracle nails. The lady cut my nails below the nail bed, continuously hurt me even after repeatedly being told to stop and that it hurt but that wasn't even the worst of it........ She brought out a legit cheese grater (yes, the kind you buy in the freaking kitchen utensil section) to use on feet. I get pedicures regularly and don't have calluses so a grater was not only not needed but it actually cut my feet....... When I asked her to stop, she grated the top of my toes. I guess the only good part of the experience was that it was record speed and concluded within 15 min of starting....... I would give zero stars if Yelp allowed it. Walked in there because my sister in law comes here. Some chubby lady start doing my nails. She start gluing then and the way she was doing it was on top of the nail, I close my hands to see how short they were and almost all my nails fell off because she didn't glue them on right. She starts speaking her language with Annie which by the way was very polite and ask me if I can wait for her and so I did. THEY FILED DOWN SOAK OFF GEL NAILS Gel nails are to be soaked off but the Nail tech (skinny with long hair) insisted on using electric file to remove. I stated that I would rather soak them off. She continued to use the electric file telling me she knew what she was doing, shaking her head at me. In the end my nails were very rough as if if I were getting acrylic nails. She didn't even get all the original nail polish off, but was ready to start painting new. She asked if everything was okay. I said actually No and I showed her and another worker the damaged nails. When I pointed this out she got very angry, started yelling at me, talking in Vietnamese to co-workers. It was an unbelievable scene! Walked into the salon without an appointment and was taken right away but the lady who greeted me came off very rude and pushy. I told her I wanted simple all white square acrylics. She asked if I wanted gel and I said NO. She starts doing my nails, didn't clip and fix my cuticles or anything. She quickly glues on the nails and covers them fully with all white powder. As she's doing this another customer walked in and asked how much for acrylics which she responded "regular polish $25, gel $35" ..... when she is finished with my nails, she never painted them with either regular or gel, left only the powder with a clear coat and then charged me $35 which is the price of gel. I'm starting to wonder if Carson City has a bonafide nail salon in which people can sit back, relax, and not worry about being infected with some horrible feet fungi. Because......... Miracle Nails is not even deserving of the name. First thing, I know they said their pedicure spas were lined, but they weren't. Which means that there is the very gross possibility that there's leftover fungi swirling around my precious toesies. EWW!! Second, there was no massage. At all. It was like, um, extinct. Hello?? It's all part of the pampering experience!! I've not had a single pedicure in my life that didn't include a small massage with it, even if it was lacking. Third, my pedicurist did NOT use new tools for my pedi. She reused a pumice stone and she went a little overboard on clipping my nails. I came in with my nails clipped the way I like them and still she felt the need to clip more. Why? She even mentioned that they were clipped. DUH! But what does concern me is the fact that there was little attention to proper safety for the hygiene. Although, she was kind of rude so I'm really not surprised at her carelessness. Fourth, I brought in my own nail polish because I've had enough pedicures convince me that they probably didn't have the color I wanted. So why was it so gosh darn difficult for her to paint my nails even relatively well?! The nails looked like she didn't want to even bother making them perfect and on closer inspection, there were weird layers of polish. UM? At one point I did mess up my big toe while it took an eternity to dry and instead of immediately starting over with the polish, she tried to fix it before deciding to use remover and start from scratch. Serious laziness much? I finally decided that I'm just going to have to get really good at becoming a pretzel so that I can paint my own toes. So, SIGH, I guess I am giving up on pedicures in Carson City. There's just no amazing Yelped about places and I'm kind of over spending $30 only to be disappointed. So since it's the holidays I went to Carson for a visit on Christmas eve and since I am from San Jose, I always get my nails done there. Anyways, after coming here, this place makes San Jose Nail Salons look like shit because they do an awesome job here! So I was at the yogurt place and realized I wanted to get my nails done so next door was a nail salon. I wanted to get them done before I hit Christmas parties and they were about to close because the guy went over to turn the sign to close. The employees were about to leave so I was like It's okay but they were like "No we can do it for you" and they squeezed me in which was super nice especially on Christmas eve. I had my nails done by Annie. She is so nice and on top of that, she did an amazing job!! She is super friendly and she tries to talk to you so that you would feel more comfortable. I also had a pedicure here and this place unlike most other nail salon actually uses sea salt so it smells really good and makes my feet happy! =) I was looking at the ladies next to me and they all had really pretty nail designs and everyone was laughing so it seems like the others are friendly too so if it's busy then you can try the others who are friendly and had a friendly greet when you walk in but definitely ask for Annie!! She is great! This place does walk-ins and by appointment but you should get an appointment just in case. It is definitely not too pricey, average for a nail salon in carson. But it doesn't even matter, I am definitely coming back to Annie when I visit Carson again. read more

After having my eyebrow appt canceled at another salon because I couldn't find the place and was 10mins late, I walked over here into the friendly environment and was able to get a pedicure on the spot. While she was pampering me I casually asked if they waxed eyebrows as well, which they do. The pedicure was wonderful. After living in LA for seven years it's hard to compare pedicures elsewhere, but this place is definitely worth a return visit. The massage chair was great, I got a nice calf and foot massage and my toes were oh so Purdy when they were finished. She even asked if I wanted a design which looked really pretty after! Almost two weeks later my toes still look fantastic. As for the eyebrow waxing, I was grateful she could do them right away, but it wasn't the best waxing I've had. That's OK. So, I went in here with a gf as part of our spa day. I decided on a french tip pedicure and she decided on a couple colors that she wanted the staff to test out so she can choose. They seemed very annoyed at this, as if she was inconveniencing them for wanting to know what the color was going to look like ON the nail. Right away my lady starts clipping my toenails and I say "Oh, please don't cut them short, as I want a french tip...sooo, I need a TIP left, obviously." She says "oh yeah, I know" as she proceeds to file away at my nail bed. (oww) So, I was left with short nails (she clipped the whole white of my toenail and my beds aren't that long) that have a painted tip on it way below the skin...it just looks ridiculous. My gf's color that she had done chipped today (we got them done yesterday)... We'll never come back. It was only $28 that I paid, but this is why it's worth paying $50+ for a GOOD pedi. Worst customer service EVER. Only reason they got a 1 star, was there was no option for less...the manager took her time coming to her station after I was seated. Once she began to drill off my existing gel polish, she worked on an area too long, which burned me. Then she told me if I wanted pink and whites, that there would be a line. When I said I didnt understand what she meant by it, she rudely jerked my fingers while gesturing again that there would be a line unless I wanted her to take off all the existing acrylic. I said I did not. So she again grabbed my hand rudely and when I pulled my hand away and said she could explain this without grabbing my fingers rough as she did, then she declined to work anymore on me. Over the weekend my fiancée and I decided to get manicures and pedicures, I called ahead and ask for availability, they said yes to regulars for him and gelish for mine, the lady who took care of him very friendly but he cut him, his feet were hurting all weekend, she apologized several times, he was ok do, mine on the other hand was very rude telling me I didn't need the pedicure, like I said I called previously snd I told her u wanted color chance, she refuse by saying I didn't "need it", then she left my nails wet because she was talking over the phone making appointments and taking more walk-in customers blaming me because I didn't leave my hands long enough, which she didn't instructed me BECAUSE SHE WAS ON THE PHONE!!!! If you are looking for a place that does a mediocre pedicure in under 15 minutes, then come here. I'm not joking. My mom and I received the quickest and quite frankly the worst pedicure we have ever gotten yesterday afternoon. Nail polishes were old and there wasn't much selection, foot tubs were not lined with plastic inserts as advertised, and I'm pretty sure they used already used pumice stones and files.
