I had two bathtubs resurfaced. I used miracle method because of the budget constraints (one day I will redo both bathrooms, but maybe in 6 years or so :)). I had the tubs and the tile surrounding it painted white. Looks very smooth, clean and fresh. Or course it is paint, so I need to be careful with it. I got a small chip before I even started using the bathroom, not sure how, but the company fixed it for free this time. Overall I am happy with the result for the price. My husband and I have not heard of MM until we went to the home remodeling show in Seattle and learned about this process. We spoke to Nick and he came out and told us more about the process and gave us a quote on our kitchen countertops which was very fair - Nick was awesome, prompt, polite and knew this trade and that is basically why we chose this option over other possible countertops available. Nancy who works in the office was very nice and sincere as well. Marco came and did the work and again he phoned ahead with time of arrival, very punctual and friendly. I was concerned because we have open concept and leather furniture, tv etc.. and he was very good about covering everything and the job was done phenomenally well....we like it more than expected. read more

Second time using MM. (Yelp put that *positive* review in the Not Recommended section ... not sure why.) First was Fall 2016 resurfacing a built-in cast-iron tub in a 1912 Everett rental. $700. We supplied tenant with the required cleaner (Formula 409) and the correct cloth. A year and a half later, the finish is OK except for a few dings near the drain. The job was not guaranteed, by the way. Spring 2018, we called to have a shower re-surfaced in a Seattle property. We also ordered a new door. Nick Salcedo was again the estimator. The resurfacing took longer than expected; I think Nick (different last name) didn't leave until 7:30p. And the job was incomplete because the door couldn't be installed; it was off by 2" because, per installer, the wrong size was ordered. March 27 to May 05 is a long time to go without use of a shower. Apparently, the replacement door came in but the office staff was being "re-distributed" and our job fell off the radar. We were told the original installer (Nick did the re-surfacing and tried to install the door) would return but then someone else called to tell us his arrival time. Confused, I called the office. "Original installer was never scheduled for the replacement door install." When corrected, she actually said "that was my sister that told you that" !!! When I said it would be best if original installer returned because of the fit issues and familiarity with the job, she said she would see what she could do. When I didn't hear back by 2ish, I called the office and learned that she had canceled the appointment completely! Richie/Ricardo was to arrive by 4:30pish; it was actually 5:15p. And he had to call me to ask where the house was! GPS, people. The replacement door leaks. There is a 3/8" gap at the bottom. Apparently Richie did not notice this. My bad for not leaving the dinner table to double check. There's two other errors on the install, one cosmetic and one functional. Multiple efforts to contact Nick S. the estimator to get it corrected. Finally got a call back on May 14, saying the error re the original door size was a manufacturing issue. He said he would come out Wed 05/16 1-3p armed with a caulk gun. "I do it all the time." Told him it was not a caulk gun issue when a metal-framed shower door leaks due to a 3/8" gap but he would not listen. Again with the "someone quit; we're re-distributing duties." When I asked for the owner's name to complain, I was told they do not give out that information. It's Tyler L. Murphy, by the way. Apparently, the Murphy family owns MM franchises in Portland and Tacoma, as well. It's so disappointing to see a local franchise self-destruct: poor customer service, installation errors, bad attitude. Perhaps they will right themselves. Tearing out a tub or a tiled shower is time-consuming and messy and expensive *if* you hire the job out. Resurfacing an existing tub is not cheap, though. Shower refinish and new door set us back over $1500. Update 05/16: Estimator called to confirm 1:00p arrival time. At 1:15p, he called to say he had gone to the property we rehabbed in the Fall of 2016. Evidence of disorganization. When he arrived, he agreed it was not just a caulk issue and scheduled the original installer to come to make *three* corrections including lowering the bottom metal "rail" so it meets the shower threshold (and stops water from flowing to the floor). Duh! Owner never did call ... "he's in California." But Operations Manager Tim Jones did call and said he did not know about some of the snafus. He said all the appropriate things about how frustrating this has been. Summary: keep notes, verify everything, inspect during and after. Ask for Nancy, who's been there awhile and is a straight-shooter. Next time, I'll probably try a different service as this has been onerous. read more

We used miracle method a few years ago to resurface an undermount porcelain kitchen sink which had been scratched by our housekeepers. The work was beautiful, but within a short time began peeling away. The company came out and redid the procedure, which once again looked very nice. After a few years now, the sink bottom has all peeled away. I don't know how durable the resurfacing is for tubs and showers, but I can't recommend it for surfaces that will get "banged around" like a kitchen sink or counter. read more

The countertops and tub look great but I had the same experience as some others where my paint was damaged here and there when they removed their masking tape. This just caused me more work to do before I sell. They also down played the toxic smell. I had to leave for 3 days. read more

Miracle Method is amazing! They resurfaced my entire kitchen counter top in one day, (well, there was a brief follow-up the next day that didn't take long) and the results look as though I had an entirely new granite surface installed! Juan did a great job! He was very methodical and careful in his masking off areas that needed protection once he began spraying the materials they use. The smell is powerful but is almost virtually gone within 36-48 hours. (You definitely will want windows open to ventilate.) MM's choices for patterns, (for kitchen counter tops, anyway), seems somewhat limited but, of the three patterns I saw, they all seemed close to looking like real stone! You also get a 5 year warranty on the work that I think you can pass on to the new owner if you sell your place within that time. read more

Luis came in was very friend and conscientious about making sure things were kept clean, made sure he explained everything that would get done, how and when. I was very pleased with this company. I had this done years ago by another company, it was ok. This company, Miracle Method Surface was wonderful. Luis would call and let me know when he would arrive and how long each day would take. He explained their warranty and provided paperwork for cleaners.......what to use to clean the tub and what not to use.
