Miracle Method Surface Refinishing in Reno produces the highest quality of workmanship. They are very professional. I have used them twice over the last 9.5 years for bathtub refinishing, & both times the results were exceptional. The technicians Jim, & John, who did the refinishing, both were very professional & took great care to ensure the results were perfect. I would use them again, & I do recommend them. read more

They did a great job patching the tub! It matches really well. They were on time and really wanted to work!!

Selling a house and the hall bathroom looked good with the exception of the dated 60 year old tile and stained tub. Jim and Miracle Method did an absolutely fantastic job on the tub and tile. He has awesome communication and was incredibly honest and more than fair. Even my plumber who came in afterwards to install new hardware couldn't believe how flawless the work turned out. The price was half of what a full tub remodel would cost and they were in and out in a couple days.. I should have had Jim do the Master bath too. Don't hesitate to use this company. read more

Gave him another try after the last bathtub refinishing from another company failed after four years. Glad I did. Very responsive and helpful, one scheduling snafu but gave a discount in apology. Bathtub looks great after he put in a lot of time and hard work to make it better than last time. Hoping for long term satisfaction but so far so good. read more

We had to wait over 2 months to schedule an appointment for the work to be done. It was well worth the wait. Jim came promptly on the day we had scheduled and he worked nonstop to get our tub and shower completed within 2 days. His quality and workmanship is above and beyond. His personality also makes working with him a pleasure. Our tub/shower looks brand new and he was put a color that we absolutely love. We highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking of doing this procedure on their bathtub and shower. If we ever need to get this done in our other bathroom we will definitely call Miracle Method and Jim. Keep up the great work Jim! read more

Jim was an absolute gem to work with! He was very responsive when we first reached out - he came by the house to give an estimate within just a few days. Once we decided to move forward with Miracle Method, Jim was extremely helpful as we figured out exactly what we wanted to do in our bathroom. He even provided us with a few samples to help us decide. He was easy to schedule with ... and he even moved his schedule around to accommodate our job. We ended up refinishing our bathtub as well as the wall tiles in the bathroom and it turned out amazing! We are so happy with the end product ... it truly transformed the entire space. He was very communicative as he was working, sending us pictures at each step. An added bonus was that he gave us helpful tips as we are remodeling our bathroom for the first time. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Jim and Miracle Method! read more

Jim just left our home after doing an amazing job refinishing our tub. He was very professional, fun to be around and charged a reasonable price after having to come so far for a two day project. He's a busy, fast moving man, with lots of jobs, working long hours, so those who weren't able to get hold of him need to understand this. We felt lucky to be able to get him. read more

Amazing job! Our two tub showers, bathroom vanity and kitchen sink all look brand new even though they are 20-40 years old. Jim was easy to work with, on time, generous and clean. In my 13 years of dealing with contractors in the South Lake Tahoe area, he is a step above the rest. He and his crew did the work while we were gone and we didn't have to ask for anything else. In fact, when I got the wrong replacement part he made a temporary fix with parts and did not charge extra. If i could give 6 stars I would. read more

Your company is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My mother, Pat, just had her shower and bathtub repaired today and the work is impeccable. The service was top notch and the gentleman was extremely kind and thorough. He kept my mother entertained and certainly rescued her from the her bathroom dilemma. I would highly recommend this company! read more

Apparently these guys don't need any more business. After scheduling the 2 day tub job with them they never showed up, never called, never returned my calls. I was counting on a good job based on some good reviews but that's only if they show up. Don't rearrange your life to accommodate these guys. This is certainly a terrible way to run a business. read more

Was looking into remodeling our bathroom. The down time/cost was crazy high. I called Miracle Method and spoke to Jim, he said he could get it looking new again. He sure did. It looks AMAZING (see before and after photos) Jim and his helper were on time each day (4 days bathtub, sink and countertop) and did a fantastic job and I HIGHLY recommend them read more

Doesn't communicate, flaky and doesn't follow through. After months of dealing with him I am going to start over with a new search.

Jim Shelton did an excellent job refinishing our shower. Fast professional and hard working man. Someone you can trust to give a good estimate and work with you on it . We will recommend him highly to friends and neighbors . Also was aware of my asthma and took care to make sure I did not breathe the product vented it right out of the window. Our shower looks beautiful transformed from old and ugly to new again . Very happy with his work . read more

Jim refinished our shower pan several years ago, but it was looking dingy again, so I gave him a call about refinishing it again. He came over, said he thought he might be able to use his cleanser on it and with a little polishing it looks almost as good as new. Saved me a bunch of money and he wouldn't even take any money for his time and effort. Highly recommend this company for your refinishing needs! read more

Have called the office during business hours 3 times, and emailed them over a 3 week period, with no response. I have several homes that need their miracle, but i guess we will just remodel, cant image what the install response is, when they dont return sales calls... why spend money on commercials if your not going to service your leads? read more

Our 30 year old peach bathtub is now white and looks brand new thanks to Miracle Method. Prompt, professional, and beautiful craftsmanship. I highly recommend this company. The competition is a little less expensive, however in this case you get what you pay for, and it was well worth spending a bit more. read more

Miracle method is the awesomest! That's right...I said awesomest! An idiot from Ira Hanson plumbing completely ruined our vintage cast iron tub with toxic chemicals. Poop face Ira Hanson had some jack wagon moron he uses to fix such blunders...the examples of his work were atrocious! We were beside ourselves about this disaster. We literally went to every tub refinisher in town and looked at their work and product. We saw examples of Miracle Method and felt a slight ray of hope. Jim, the local franchise owner came out and was the friendliest person ever! His craftsmanship was remarkable! He took the time it took to get it perfect. I'm super fussy about craftsmanship especially with something like this. Miracle Method and Jim surpassed my wildest expectations! If you need your tub refinished...this is your far-and-away your best choice! read more

Jim Shelton is an actual artist, as well as a very thorough and honest guy. He did work on our house at Lake Tahoe. He matched the color on some weird 25 year old tiles beautifully (I can't even see that they once had holes in them), and made our lame old bathrooms look new. When I tried to rush the job, he explained that it wouldn't work then - you have to leave dry times between the different phases or it won't bond.... and that you have to prep the surfaces properly. Once on the job, he got stuck in some indecision between my husband and myself about what to do on a bathroom. It was a little thorny awkward and personal, something he shouldn't have had to deal with, and he kept a totally cool and smiling attitude through the whole thing. What a cool guy and craftsman. You will not get better work from anyone, better prices or a better experience. read more

Jim does amazing work and is very honest guy. I got a quote to refinish my counters but it took a long time before I got to it as we were remodeling. At one point I got a quote for granite that seems almost reasonable but when they gave me my "official" quote it was almost double what the originally told me. Jim just finished my counters at my place in Tahoe and the cost was very reasonable and it looks amazing. You can tell by his work he's an artist, perfectionist and he doesn't cut corners. read more

Jim at Miracle Method is phenomenal! He did a magnificent job refinishing my fiberglass tub and surround-walls. Everything looks brand new, and so clean. Jim also removed the old glass shower doors and hardware, so I can use a shower curtain instead. He cleaned up quite nicely - no mess left behind. Jim is a joy to talk to. Working with contractors is sometimes challenging for me, and Jim made the experience quite positive. He truly takes pride in his work every step of the way and is a master of his craft. read more

Jim and his team did a wonderful job on our bathtub and shower pan ~ they look better than new! The texture they put on the bottom is so much better than the original tub and shower. They were very professional, showed up on time and coordinated with the people working on the tile and glass to make sure everything went smoothly and efficiently. In addition, Jim looked at the sink in our kitchen island and recommended that we replace it instead of resurfacing it. He also suggested replacing the tile counter with granite or quartz. Thank you Jim for your hard work and professionalism! read more

I was going to replace my ratty tub but Jim said he could get it to look like new for a very fair price. He came through as promised. Made the whole bathroom look like new....fantastic job! read more
