Amanda, the technician who did my original screening and fitting was so thorough and helpful and teaching what was going on and what changes would occur in the future. I felt excited to address the issue early rather than wait. I felt no pressure whatsoever from Amanda. When I had a few minor issues with getting things adjusted at first, I realized I chose the right people to work with. They didn't just say hear you go and then vaporize. They worked hard with a product they believe in. I generally like to work with professionals that I have been personally referred to. Amanda made me feel like I discovered a secret on my own. Do yourself a favor and have a screening appointment.

I was ushered into an office with a Sharkey professional and shown some really good hearing aids. However, the price is very high. Subsequently, I complained about the price and was told that they would research less expensive units and they would notify me when they had news. That was 3 weeks ago and I have not heard from them. I am looking for care elsewhere.

I reluctantly agreed to a hearing test at the urging of my daughter. I am bald so hearing aids are out of the question..Right? As a health care professional I was aware of the fact that Hearing aids improve mental focus and slow dementia and I'll admit things weren't coming as quickly and easily as when I was younger. Hearing aids have opened up a whole new world adding richness to my life. People no longer avoid talking with me and started treating me with more respect like I was suddenly more intelligent! Best of all I am now enjoying hearing my beautiful wife, children and grand daughter as never before. I m still surprised when I talk to people about them and they are shocked when I take them out to show them saying "I can't believe it.. I never saw them" For Pete's sake I'm bald and don't like hats. I wasted time and money trying discount in ear amplifiers but finally realized this is very similar to Dentistry..Its a service not a product. I had been waiting for you to contact me and when you did not contact me just like all other times I was told someone would look into this refund and I never heard back from anyone I posted that review on yelp. Yes, I think people should know when a client is ignored and your company does not respond or even contact me when the person I was working with is no longer available to see me. After the rude encounter with another employee taking the scheduled appointment I was told only a cleaning would be done and the was no time to do a service adjustment. She did not make any arraignment for me to see someone else. No call, text or email advised me about getting my hearing aids serviced. When I stopped in the front office said they would check-in about a refund even if it would be partial based on my last appointment. I never heard back from the St. Cloud office. I don't like leaving negative reviews but based on the way I've been treated as a client and then ignored I felt it necessary to get a response. Also to bring to your attention that something in the way of customer service was missing at the St. Cloud office. The way the service contract was presented to me it was like one appointment would cost as much as the contract and when I only got a cleaning it upset me that was an expensive cleaning. The provider at the clinic and all other service that we have received at Allina Women's Health clinic had been impeccable, but her attitude really tarnished everything. She hanged up the phone on us as we were speaking and said the nurse should call instead. I hope there is better training of the support staff because patients really deserve better. I pray I could see how she documented that interaction. As a health care provider myself, it was appalling.

Dr. SCHOEL was a fabulous listener and was not the type of doctor to reply with typical memorized responses like a robot. She conversed like a caring person and the dialouge was not generic but targeted to the individual patient, me. She knew as I know each patient is different. We are not all the same. She was knowledgeable, kind, patient, understanding and great at explaining medical diagnosis AS well as surgical procedures in laymens terms. AND... WOW! She is on top of communication - ACTUALLY CALLED!! Wow and quick updating test results on my online chart! Thank you.
