We started off with many appetizers. We tried the fries with and without truffle. I would say it's okay to skip the additional truffle since they combine it with parmesan -- would only get if you're a fan of both! Also, a lot of the entrees come with a side of fries! The brussels sprouts were amazing and had a lot of different layers of flavors, both sweet and smoky. The green beans were good, but not a must get! The calamari was fried well but the pieces were a bit small. I ordered the burger as my entree. It was a huge burger and came with a side of fries. I loved the bun and it was quite fluffy. The flavors of the burger with the meat, sauce, cheese and pickles pair well together. I do think some parts of either my bun or patty were a bit burnt and you could definitely taste that. For dessert, we got the bread pudding which was AMAZING! Would definitely recommend, it reminded me of a chocolate chip cookie but pillowy and delicious!

I wasn't the biggest fan of the Candy Cigarette. It was a little too syrup-y for me. The music was pretty loud the night we went, so it was hard to hear the my friends sitting in front of me. Good place for a hang, but a little hard to make too much conversation.

To end the night before we headed off to dinner, we stopped by The Semi- Tropic bar for drinks. The parking situation was difficult to say the least-- there is no street parking or parking lot. And the neighborhood behind the bar is filled with park cars. We were lucky and parked at a parking lot that was for the surrounding business (so sorry to the pizza/ weed shop!). We arrived at around 6:30 PM so it wasn't too busy. We were greeted by one of the servers and she gave us options to either sit at a lounge table area or hightop tables. We opted for the hightop tables because we knew we weren't staying there for long. The server was friendly and patient as we looked over the menu for drinks. I've been sober for about a year so I only had water, my boyfriend ordered a Naoshima Dream, his cousin ordered a Mango Cart, and his cousin's girlfriend ordered a Lemon Drop Martini. The bar was super cute and hipster! I honestly would have loved going to this bar back when I used to drink. It's dimly lit, had a vintage 20's speakeasy feel to it and the music was a vibe. I'd recommend coming here for a little date with your partner or even coming with a group of friends. My boyfriend had been here once before and he said the food was really good and affordable. He had a panini and said for bar food it was a 10/10. We waited maybe like 10 minutes for our drinks to come, we were having such a fun time chatting and enjoying the environment that it didn't feel long at all. My boyfriend, his cousin, and his cousin's girlfriend really enjoyed their drinks. They said the drinks tasted "light" insinuating that there was barely any alcohol in it. Don't let the taste fool you, after finishing half of their drink there were full of smiles, giggles, and had a great buzz going. The prices here were all pretty fair for the cost and quality of the drinks. Would defintely recommend coming here for drinks and dinner for a date night or a night out with friends!

Sometimes the food is a bit salty, but otherwise full of healthy options (10 + kinds of salad and veggie dishes) with decedent choices, too (extra cheesy lasagna). It's a self service restaurant, but also expensive. You set your own table and pour your own water glasses. Dinner for two with beverages is easily $85 or more with tip. There are no refills on drinks like iced tea. The upside of it being self service, is you can hang out as long and chat as long as you like. There is good chance if you do linger that you might order desert or a second small $10 iced tea (with tax and tip). It would be quite easy to spend well over $100 for 2, without table service... If it were a little less expensive, I would be a regular... but if it were less expensive then it would be hard to find a table because that whole neighborhood would be hanging out here.

My date told me it used to be an old fire station from the 1920s, which definitely adds to the vibe. The whole place just feels really cool and unique, and I thought it was honestly so pretty. We went on a Wednesday night so it was basically empty idk if it's usually busy or not. The food was good, nothing super groundbreaking or out of the ordinary for me, but this is definitely more of a vibe spot in the best way possible. Our server was also really sweet. She noticed my nails were long and helped me out, plus gave me a really good drink recommendation, I think it was some kind of strawberry daiquiri, and I loved it. Overall, really good experience and I'd definitely come back.

Edendale is tucked away on a very busy street with limited street parking and even in the surrounding neighborhood we found it tedious with the amount of tow away signs, so plan ahead. Our group of four went on a Wednesday night so it wasn't busy at all, we decided to sit in the front outside area. Music playing, low lights, candles and greenery. Which be careful if you sit near the plants, lots of spiders and ants during our meal (yikes.) Service was great. Server was very chill and made sure to check in multiple times. Food was standard and drinks were good but nothing life changing. All in all what a cool space, Edendale being an old firehouse makes the ambiance really unique. There is a couple outside areas, one out front and closer to the back near the restrooms. Lots of options to sit inside or outside. Wouldn't necessarily go for the food but a very nice place to catch up with loved ones over a candle lit cocktail hour.

We got here around 1:00 pm, fortunately just before a large line formed. This place can get really busy! And I understand why - the food is so fantastic here. We ordered the Bodega Chopped Cheese, the Korean Hott Fried Chicken, and some Waffle Fries. While at the cashier we saw in the window display the Black Sesame Chocolate Chip Cookie and we had to try it. We were so hungry - we actually ended up having dessert first! The cookie had the perfect texture, a mix of crunchy and chewy, and the perfect taste - not too sweet and the savory black sesame paired so well with the chocolate chip. The Bodega Chopped Cheese was mouthwatering and the ground Angus beef was succulent and flavorful. The fresh shredded lettuce and tomato brought brightness to the sandwich and balanced the beef and melted American cheese so well. We also ended up trying the chicken wings, which were juicy and delectable! They came with a Yuzu Crema - a top tier sauce. The wings were honestly delicious on their own and didn't need the Yuzu Crema, but that sauce did make the wing even better somehow. It was pretty busy here on a Saturday afternoon so I would like to come back on a random weekday and try more sandwiches. Parking can definitely be a hassle in Silver Lake, but the food at bodega Park is totally worth that hassle!

The chopped cheese is killer. It's high quality ground beef, ooey gooey melted cheese, and fresh veggies all on a perfect roll. This is your hangover cure.  The breakfast burrito is awesome. It's extremely flavorful. The chicken is tender, the tortilla is warm and crispy on the outside, and the whole thing is dripping cheese. An underrated option for the breakfast burrito scene in LA. The coffee here is also good. I got the black sesame iced latte, and they put a lot of black sesame foam on, making it a decadent, rich, and nutty way to get your caffeine. I would highly recommend for a morning pick me up. I came here to grab a quick breakfast after walking the Silverlake Reservoir and it was the perfect way to refuel.

Maybe it was an off day but even the staff were very quiet and not as inviting. We were seated in the back patio are. We got there at 8:30, we ordered some wine around 8:45 and they took our food order so around 9:05 our starters came out along with "kitchen is closing do you need anything else?" We felt very hurried to finish up and leave. The hummus and pesto was delicious and so was the roster chicken. We loved the Japanese sweet potatoes. The herb sauce was great on top. When the bill came out oh was over $100 over. They had changed an extra bottle of wine, one extra started and 5% for their insurance. And the staff adjusted it but even after adjusting the bill the first time it still was wrong and had to be sent back again to get readjusted. Again maybe it was an off day.
