Sonia and Jorge were absolutely wonderful. They were empathetic, understanding, and went out of their way to make the experience as smooth and supportive as possible. Their flexibility with timing and genuine care truly made a difference for our family during a sensitive time. We're grateful for their kindness and professionalism. P.S The bathrooms were very clean and fully stocked, which added to the overall comfort and ease of our visit.

Thanks to them we were able to obtain a Catholic mass & funeral services in our back yard. Our concern was also to get our mom's cremation/Urn within a two week time frame. Chavez Funeral &Cremation delivered reliability, assertiveness & expedited our request. A reputable foundation nonetheless. Under the circumstances where the last thing you need is more task to tackle, Chavez Funeral& cremations took a huge weight of our hands. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Especially to Sonia. Excellent, well done. Cons: Some reviews say that This organization doesn't get back in time. I totally can understand the frustration(under the circumstances) however a simple call and text to, friendly remind Sonia or her staff will solve that miscommunication. Any organization can get backed up or busy but I can assure you it's an easy fix. Atleast it worked for me. Best.

Thank GOD for for Wesleigh at Anubis. She was amazing and so helpful. My sister had Neptune Society…read moreoriginally pick up our auntie's body from the hospice center. After the pickup we were told that a representative would reach out to us the following day so we could start making arrangements. They didn't call till 3 days later even after leaving them multiple messages! Imagine not knowing what's happening to your loved one or where they are located after they died. Our assigned rep only called AFTER I switched to Anubis Cremations and had arrangements for the body to be brought to their facilities. Wesleigh was so easy to work with. She picked up my call right away and took care of everything. She communicated every step of the way. I told her that my uncle who is a priest will be arriving in 2 weeks and we would like for the cremation and memorial service to happen while he was here. She mentioned that it's a very tight schedule but she would try to make it happen. And she 100% delivered!!! Within an hour of my initial call she had my auntie's body arranged for pickup, she sent paperwork to us and the doctor so she could start the process of filing the death certificate. The church where we wanted the memorial service wouldn't let us reserve a time till they had a cremation date. We were able to get the cremation date within a few days. We opted for a private open viewing at the crematory in Van Nuys. The crematory only does night time viewing which worked well for us since our family is busy working during the day. Wesleigh's coworker Jonathan took great care of us at the viewing. The place had a room for up to 15 people where family members could sit with the casket prior to the cremation. They dressed our auntie in her formal barong and jewelry. We were allowed to provide flowers, letters, and mementoes in the cardboard casket. Jonathan gave us sharpies so we could write notes on the casket. There were aslo tissues and an easel for our use. Although the viewing was technically 15 minutes, we were not rushed and were given about 20-25 minutes to do a prayer service and say our goodbyes. And then Jonathan and another employee wheeled her into the crematory. We watched them place her casket in the "oven" and once the door closed we left. They even allowed us to live stream the entire time we were there to our auntie's relatives back in the Philippines. The following day Wesleigh delivered the ashes to the church and she provided the letters and instructions we needed to bring the ashes back to the Philippines. We were also very happy with the urn we ordered from Anubis. It was engraved and had a photo of our auntie. It was perfect. I can't thank Wesleigh and Jonathan enough for providing an outstanding service that was stress-free, efficient, compassionate, and super professional during this difficult time of grief. I whole-heartedly recommend Annubis.

Not only did they make everything quick and easy, but were beyond patient, thoughtful, helpful, and caring with each interaction. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I've been working with this company since June 5th 2025 and so far their rating…read moreis 2 out of 5. They have terrible communication with their customers and you're the one that has to follow up on updates about your loved ones progress/process during a very difficult time adding unnecessary extra emotional stress. This caused my wife and family extra stress after we lost our baby and it's the last thing any family should have to do after the passing of any loved one. I had better compassionate care when my family dog died and was cremated than we got with my son....how F-ing sad and infuriating is that!!!! There's no compassion, understanding or dignity. Omar is rarely available always running errands and Juan is always taking messages and trying to answer questions for the case manager (Omar) whom never gets back. I had to be the one to call and ask for updates and follow up because they would never call Back. My phone record is nothing but calls out to them supporting that they have terrible customer care and service. They close at 5pm. They'll answer the phone to tell you to call the next day.. They also kept telling us that our sons remains would be ready this week, no next week no the 3rd week. For some reason Omar couldn't email or call me with updates. I wouldn't recommend using their services unless you're ready to do all the follow ups, ask for updates, ask and remind them to process your payment and try to get a hold of them. If you can afford Something else I'd recommend you go with it! I'll never forget how they made us feel during this time. Just a terrible experience dealing with this company.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been one of the most devastating and unprofessional…read moreexperiences my family has ever endured. On the day of my wife's father's funeral--already one of the most painful days of her life--we were forced into additional, unnecessary stress and heartbreak because of this company's incompetence. We were assured that her father's ashes would be available in Bell Garden on Thursday she drove close to 3 hours to pick them up. When my wife made the painful drive to pick them up, they were not there. We ended up having to collect the ashes only two hours before the funeral. To make matters worse, the urn we purchased--a golden urn to properly honor her father--was not provided. Instead, without a word of explanation, they handed us his ashes in a plastic box. This left my wife with no choice but to present her father in front of family and friends in a cheap plastic container. People were taking photos of the urn, and it was a humiliating, heartbreaking moment. On top of the grief of losing her only surviving parent, she had to experience this indignity. We even drove around desperately searching for an urn before the service, but it was impossible to find one on the same day. No family should ever be put through this kind of negligence--especially not on the day of a funeral. We placed our trust in this company to handle something sacred, and they failed us in the worst way imaginable. This experience was beyond disappointing--it was cruel.
