I made three trips to Mira, the first trip she told me that she had to remove all of the old filling before she could fill and polish them. She also told me that I had to Cash App her the money $126.,00, $45 for my toes and the rest for my nails. I have had 4 nail breaks and I return to Mira for two of them. The first break I was talked into getting them refilled, this time they said they took cash and credit cards it costed me $45, the went back a week lasted for 2 nail repair and they charged me $10, but rung it up at $11. For the third and fourth break, I gave up. I am not going back to Mira, I don't know what brand of gel they uses, but it didn't work for me. All of my breaks were middle ways my nails. read more

I went in for a pedicure and full set of gel nails. I was going on vacation. I have had gel nails done before (at another place) and they lasted so much longer. I had french tip. On vacation I looked down at my toes and realize that the pinky toe on my left foot was never painted. Then the full set of nails lasted only a week before lifting. I spent $126.00. Poor quality, not worth the money. I made an appointment with a friend but when I got there all the technicians were busy. They actually had their young children try to remove our previous shellac polish since no one was available for our scheduled appointment. Then they separated my friend and I to opposite sides of the salon so we were unable to sit together for our manicures. When the technician was finally available he was not friendly and very rushed. His quality was poor and even right after my manicure I was able to find imperfections with my nails. My nails starting chipping just days after my shellac manicure and now it's been a week and the polish of one of my nails has peeled completely off and there are others that are starting to peel off as well. I would not recommend this salon. However, they do have a nice selection of colors for shellac polish. read more

I came in here off of a friends recommendation. And she was ABSOLUTELY right! What a great clean place! The guy had me sign in and took me right away! I sat down and had a nice conversation, he asked me why my plans were for Valentine's Day and I told him and he genuinely seemed interested. He was very gentle and was great at what he did! It is hard for me to find a nail salon I am comfortable at, this might just be my new place! I will definitely be back for my fill in two week! Very clean place! A story I contemplated telling: This morning I went to get my nails done at Mira Nails on Gull Rd (its close to me). I walk in mask on, most customers are not wearing masks, and a nail tech says What you want? I say I need a fill and gel polish. He says without looking at me and very loudly, Sanitize your hands! I step to the sanitizer and its in my hands and im churning them. I say, How long is the wait? He says, Sanitize your hands! I'm a little confused but okay...I repeat to him, Yes, and how long is the wait? He says again loudly, Sanitize your hands! I'm confused. Um, yeah, the lady whos nails hes doing is looking at me oddly a long with the full salon of customers. She says to him, She wants to know how long. He says nothing. I'm sure he hears her. I take 2 steps toward his station so he can better hear me, maybe its the mask. I ask again, while holding my hands up so he can see my churning hands, How long of a wait sir? He says without looking at me and as rudely as before, I dont know. I'm completely confused. I'm dressed and ready for the day and polite and very confused. I turn around and say Thanks for the sanitizer I'll go somewhere where they want customers. I leave. I'm irritated beyond. I head over to the other side of town Star Nails on W.Main. I'm there 5 minutes and seated. 20 minutes in a woman walks up to me and says, Were you just at Mira on Gull Road? I say, Yes. She says they were so rude to you I was in complete shock. She says, The way he treated you was awful I'm the woman that he was doing my nails. After you left 2 white woman walked in and he was all smiles, asking them how can he help them, and what would they like. She said she asked him why he didnt treat me the same way. Why the difference and told him thats a racist way to treat someone and she'd like him to stop where he was and she'd like to pay and leave. He told her people are racist to him all the time and he's not racist. She said, I'm leaving and came to the other salon. You might not see it. You may not relate to it. You might try to excuse it away. These micro aggressions are common. When she and I spoke at Star Nails I told her I wasnt sure what kind of stereotype I was getting labeled but he surely didnt care if I stayed, and thats my cue to leave. I was impressed she walked out too. She said, I just did the right thing! I wont spend my money where we're not welcome. DEFENDING WHATS RIGHT. I LOVE IT AS A WAY TO LIVE AND BE. read more

Just barely so it's way longer than the others didn't make it the right shape and then when I told him that it didn't look right to me, he handed me the nail file and N said you do it. The man in probably his mid thirties did a full set on me and they are way too short and so ugly.100% NOT what I asked for at all. I am beyond upset and THEY WILL UPCHARGE YOU. I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. I came in for a much needed pedicure, however, my heels and cuticles were never touched. Those are the 2 main reasons I go to get a professional pedicure, as anyone can put paint on their own toes, at home for free. In addition, the staff wasn't friendly at all. Long story short ..I went to this salon about 5 months for the first time ..got my nails for my anniversary (had not had my nails done in years)..I got shellac it looked beautiful it chipped in 2 days....they questioned me but fixed it np..the next time I came a guy came to the front asked me what service did I want I said shellac ..he said do you a appt..I said no....he said well YOU NEED TO GO HOME and CALL And make a appt ..I said huh (puzzled)...I said I am here inside your business and you want me to leave here (cellphone in hand) and go home and call you back yes I was tickled smh(mind you I am the only person there)....ok so still decide to go back to get nails done a different time they seat me ....I witness a customer a slightly older lady getting yelled at by the person at the front because she couldn't understand what she was saying to her as if she didn't have a mask on and a accent then once the lady went to the back to get service the little man in the back proceeded to yell at her for coming to the back because he said the woman in the front told her to come to the back after one minute(I guess her minute wasn't up smdh)...ok so 3 minutes later there is confrontation at the register..the little rude man that was in the back was yelling at a lady because she was not aware of a credit card fee that apparently just started a few months back ..I mean this man talked to this woman so horrible I mean he wouldn't shut up....the lady was speechless and I was fuming .....so much so that in the middle of my service I jumped and told his rude behind off and left....this place is a mess the staff is rude and nasty ...relaxing nail day not so much...I went to different salon to finish.. Booked an appointment but still had to wait 30 Min. Once I was in the pedi chair trying to relax, nagging about upgrading to the next service began. They did a nice job but fair warning, $27 pedi offer is really just to get you in the door. I would give it zero stars if I could. Long story short, I had a picture and showed them the picture of the manicure I wanted, multiple times. The color and the design were nothing close to the picture I had shown. When I tried stopping during the process, the man only chuckled. I went back in an hour after to see if I could have them change it, even telling them I would pay full price, they refused! I was polite and kind the entire experience having worked in customer service myself, and they were only harsh and rude. How they have a sign saying "be nice or leave" when they themselves are terribly impolite, I don't understand. I got a full set of acrylic nails done, they looked pretty good. HOWEVER. When they grew out I went to get them removed and they literally PRYED them off my nail with another fake nail. Save yourself and don't even bother giving it a chance. First of all I asked for a specific length and cut and they didn't do it. All my nails are different lengths. They didn't take off my old shellac polish and left some on. I have bubbles within my nails and when he filed he didn't even bother to brush off the access so it went in my polish. Horrible customer service! I have gone here several times and never been too impressed but it's location was convenient. Today I stopped in for a mani/pedi. They could not complete the manicure because she completely sliced by finger (it is still bleeding and throbbing over an hour later). I never got any polish, not even a bandaid. I just left with a wad of cotton to sop up the blood. The best part is she still charged me full price and threw a fit when I didn't tip. The polish was goopy and even when I selected a different color the result was lumpy and polish not even pushed to my cuticle line. Cracked in less than a week. I had deluxe pedicure and it was super rush. Jenny was really rush on my pedicure, didn't even clean the dead skin for my heal. I asked for parafiin wax.
