LAMB ADANA KEBAB
Brian W.

Back again following another film across the road. For us it was like on Cheers, where they know you name and it was only our second visit; guess we made an impact the first time. This time we started with the Manti dumplings with meat (note to self to try the veggie Manti next time). We ordered and shared the Musakka and Large Lamb Adana Kebab. Everything was well prepared and beautifully plated. Ekrem, our server again was so polite and kind, a treat with someone so young. Food all tasted great, nice mix of dishes on this wet evening. I ordered takeout from Mira and was disappointed with how oily the hummus and baba ganoush were, the pita that they provided was thin and not chewy, and the 5 pieces of chicken/shrimp that they put in their entrees for the cost they're charging does not equate at all. I also substituted a side salad for a side of fries which was a $3 up charge (which I was notified as I was placing the order over the phone and accepted since I was craving fries), but I still find that unreasonably priced.

Falafel with Hummus

TLDR: delicious Mediterranean food and friendly staff in casual setting Walking into Mira is akin to walking into the slice shop next door, except for the occasional flare-ups and meaty aroma from the grill. My party of three ordered the "Golden Package" which contained falafel with hummus, shepherds salad, pita, and a mixed platter of meats and rice. Each dish was fresh and well made. The falafel was fried a little dark but was otherwise shatteringly crisp and tender. The salad was bright and refreshing - perfect for a warm day. The platter, the star of the show, was a generous mix of grilled chicken, chicken adana, lamb shish, lamb chops, lamb gyro - it was a wonderful combo of textures and flavors all over a bed of perfectly cooked buttery rice. The lamb chops were slightly overcooked, but we otherwise loved the platter. The Mira staff generously served us an additional mixed eggplant - a wonderfully bright and full bodied appetizer that paired wonderfully with the meaty entree. Even without this I would give Mira a high rating. Every dish we had was a delight, and I will certainly be adding Mira to my list of regular restaurants. Some things to consider: the restaurant has a very casual setting which some may not prefer for a more serious night out or celebration. The prices are also relatively high but not out of range for sit-down Princeton restaurants.

CHICKEN KEBAB

This place was wonderful! The service was friendly and quick. The food was fresh and delicious, the babaganoush was incredible. So smokey and the slightest bit of garlic. The chicken kebab was also cooked perfectly. This place is family owned and you can tell they put a lot of love into the food. Will come back again soon :)

This place blew me out of the water. Please drop everything and come here. There's some indoor seating and table service. I had the ground chicken entree. It was so flavorful! You can see all the herbs and spices. They brought bread and 3 different sauces to the table (2 different yogurt kind and 1 tomato spicy one that was so flavorful). My husband was thrilled with his half chicken half lamb. The rice, cabbage and salad on the side were all great. The service was phenomenal. So attentive and kind. Multiple people came to check on our meal. We were too stuffed for dessert but they gave us one to go on the house which was so kind!

We started with the complimentary bread, which was warm, fresh, and served with olive oil and a delicious cheese that I couldn't stop eating. It set the tone for the meal beautifully. For appetizers: - Zucchini Beauty- a refreshing and creative salad made of thin zucchini ribbons, bright orange segments, almonds, and a vibrant green sauce. It was unique and delicious - Tuna Marine (a tuna ceviche)- bright and zesty citrus marinade, liked the green apple Mains: - Brown Butter Brown Shrimp Casserole- had shrimp, mushrooms, and thyme in a brown butter sauce. It was too heavy on the onions, which overwhelmed the plate, and the shrimp were overcooked, but the flavors were still good - Branzino- in an almond cream sauce with mushrooms, it was excellent. The skin was crispy, and while it could've used more salt, the sauce helped I was really looking forward to trying the Tirit dish since it looked so interesting on the menu, but unfortunately they were out of it Poached pear dessert- beautiful presentation, like all the dishes. Unfortunately the pear was a bit too firm and difficult to cut. All in all, the food was tasty and while there were a few minor missteps, I'd definitely return. Many creative dishes I look forward to trying here

Food: I got the gyro platter, and even though it was the small size, it was still filling and satisfying. The meat and rice were freshly prepared, and the veggies gave the meal unique flavors and tastes. Service/Environment: There were only two people working the restaurant, but they were both super friendly and welcoming, despite the current situation. They explained the menu well and were able to quickly prepare my meal without compromising on the quality. Price: The platter was around $9-10 for the small, and an extra dollar or two for the large one, which I think is a fair price point. Overall: Tasty food with quick and friendly service at a solid price point, which makes this place worth your while!

We chose the spot since it happen the be the "midpoint" between where my friend and I live. The service was friendly. The menu is has limited options; think Chipotle style create your own bowl, pita or platter. I ordered a chicken gyro wrap and my friend went with the falafel bowl. The chicken was very good, however, I wish they had warmed up the pita. A cold pita made the sandwich slightly less appealing. I also tasted my friend's falafel bowl. Overall, the falafel was good. The prices seemed high for what you get. We sat at the small outside seating area, since its in a corporate park, people were coming and going a bit. Midpoint is a decent place to stop by if in the area.

Get the Mucver!!!! I haven't tried other appetizers but the Mucver stole the show. It's a zucchini vegetable fried pancake. If a latke was made of zucchini. Super flavorful. Not greasy at all. The chicken Adana is my favorite. It's a ground chicken well seasoned with herbs and grilled. My husband had the mixed grill of gyro (beef), lamb, and grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was delicious. Both are served with a salad and rice. Very good service.

Food was fresh and delicious; attentive and timely service-wise, too. Ordering delivery was a bit of a different story. Ordered two gyros and neither had tzatziki which was very disappointing. Tzatziki is what we live for and the shining star of a gyro--how do you forget that not once but twice?! Then there were the very greasy and droopy fries. Yes, fries are delicate travelers but these were hopeless. And at a $9(!!) price point, they should really find another way of transporting them to customers. Last, the lentil soup was not prepared well. It was bland and overly thick than many others I have eaten before by other chefs. All in all, not terrible but rather a bad lasting impression. Don't think we'll be returning.
