Meanwhile, several other employees were standing around on their phones or joking with each other instead of helping. I felt bad for the one woman doing her best to handle an impossible situation by herself. It was disappointing to see such a lack of teamwork. When there's a line that long, everyone should be pitching in to help customers and support their coworker. Instead, it seemed like nobody cared. If Staples is going to accept Amazon returns, they need to staff appropriately or have employees step up when it's busy. This experience was a huge waste of time and left a very poor impression.

We visited Kaitlin and Phil with an inquiry on what kind of gift we should give away to our local volunteers and they instantly had ideas. Minuteman of Valley Stream produced a duffel bag for us that that we handed out as an incentive gift to our Fire Department's members.
