I haven't been feeling well for a while and yesterday I hit a new low. I hadn't thought about going anywhere until I stopped by CVS to pickup some prescriptions. I noticed there was next to no wait at the MinuteClinic and decided to sign in. The sign in process was easy and it was great to see that you can now schedule your appointment and save your place in line without waiting. I was greeted by the nurse practitioner named Danielle. She listened to all of my concerns and was super friendly with a great bedside manner. Within about 10 minutes (would have been less if I wasn't so talkative) she figured out the problem and sent the prescription right away to the pharmacy onsite. It was an easy transaction and I am grateful for the convenience during a time where I truly felt terrible and would not have wanted to wait hours to be seen. I highly recommend it. After spending hours on the phone with said insurance, they literally explained exactly how the office could correct the issue and resubmit the claim properly. I then spent HOURS trying to communicate this to ConvenientMD's billing staff, only to be told they would not fix a coding error THEY made. Not "could not." Would not. They knowingly left me responsible for charges created by their own mistake. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of accountability and communication. They advertise email responses within 24-48 hours, yet days later there was still no response at all. Patients should not have to act as middlemen between an urgent care and an insurance company because the billing department refuses to do its job.

The CVs Minute Clinic in Norton sent me a $100.00 bill for doing absolutely nothing! In addition I have Medicare A&B and they refused to send a claim for service to Medicare. The stay at Sturdy was longer than expected due to blood pressure but the nurses were so caring. They responded so quickly to the call button and were helpful. I was blessed to have Jakki, Marie, Richard, Liz and also Ashley. They are an outstanding group of nurses, CNA's and phlebotomist. I had a friend visit who is a RN and she commented on how well the floor seemed to work together and everyone was smiling. Impressive! Last but not least, the PT department shines. Will is such a warm, encouraging attribute to Sturdy. He was patient and truly cared about me while I was in his care. Thank you Will. His helper Tye was also very sweet. Overall I could not ask for a better team of caring professionals and would recommend Sturdy to anyone needing medical care.

You check in they send you to waiting room, then you see triage back to waiting room, then they officially check you in and take insurance info then back to waiting area, then X-ray, back to waiting area, then bloodwork, back to waiting area (you can see your test results on the portal) but after waiting 4 + hours you still haven't seen a doctor. I think sturdy has a major staffing issue & doctors and NP don't seem to want to work there.
