I never understood why in the world you'd want to book a suite just for a layover, like why? WELL, here's why. Long layovers are only fun if you're lounge hopping or shopping around and walking around the airport. It's all fun and games until all you want to do is take a nice nap when it's well past the hours of the night and your flight is not until the next morning. It's too short of a layover to book a hotel room but also too long to be not curled up in a blanket in a private space to catch some zz's. Thanks to Priority Pass, we decided to give these guys a try and we're so happy we did. Me and my husband each had 1 hour for free so we were able to book 2 free hours of nap time! We split it up pretty evenly where we got our first couple of hours walking around the airport and moving our legs/working in our computers. And then, when it was about 2am, we went to our Minute Suite and spent 2 wonderful hours napping in quiet. What I loved about the experience is you get pillows and blankets and can really enjoy a dark, private and quiet space even with dimmable lights and white noise if you need. If you prefer to work or watch TV that's also available. Overall pretty awesome experience, the only thing is I think they were doing some work at the airport and you could hear everything so maybe having some kind of a sound proof would be awesome. The couch had a bit of a wear and tear but it's fine we just covered it up with extra blankets. All in all, amazing experience! If they provided sanitizing wipes to make you feel like it's super clean after the last guest this would be even better. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend and from now on, I'll be sure to book these especially during long overnight layovers. read more

As a frequent traveler, this is my favorite concept to stumble across in the last couple of years. Suites are 75 ft.² in size, I approximate? A working desk, a television, an extra wide leather couch and pillow with a trundle bed for a guest, black out lighting and white noise. They added a space heater and blanket at my request. As a member of Priority Pass, the first hour was completely free! Discounted rates for subsequent hours with the membership. So that's a heads up for anyone who you invite to join you. The suite was rather small and with just use two it was a bit hard to get asleep since the suite just has a deep seat sofa and one pillow. Overall the place was clean and the staff was friendly. There are snacks and drinks in the rooms but that is a surcharge. read more

Comfortable place to lay your head down if you have a red eye connection. We got here at 5am and there was a short wait. We reserved the room for two hours and got to take an amazing nap. The pillows and blankets were comfortable, it was clean, and the air and lighting options were great. Only comment I would make is that I got woken up once from a loud guest at the check in counter. They were speaking loudly, so a sign that asks outside guests to speak on their library voice would be great. Showers are available for an extra charge. I love minute suites! I know different locations vary but I enjoyed my experience at the DFW location! I waited less than an hour for room and when I got in - it was spotless! While the tv and white noise machines are pretty standard in the other locations I've visited, I did appreciate the personal fridge and small heater that they added to the rooms! Rooms come equip with a trundle bed, pillow and blanket and were perfect for my layover! Travel / card tip: If you have priority pass membership you can reserve a room for up to an hour for no additional fee! A longer than expected layover might be really uncomfortable...unless you can access a Minute Suite. Booked online, by phone or in person for an hour or over night. Private rooms in the airport! Not luxurious by any means-at least not the one in Terminal D at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Utilitarian! The room was small and was outfitted with a sleeper sofa, a trundle, desk, chair,tv, wi fi and quiet. Much better than sleeping in a chair or on the floor of the airport as some people were doing! Safe, clean and private-a perfect place to sleep if you just flew the red eye or have an unexpected layover. Not every airport has a lounge, so take advantage of it when available. You can purchase access via Priority Pass at different levels or receive access via American Express. The first hour can be free and $34 for each hour after per your access level-so join depending on your frequency of travel. The room does not come with a bathroom or shower, but that can be purchased at an additional charge also-about $30 for a limited time. Sleeping on an airplane can be uncomfortable. So the suite is a nice retreat to stay for a little while before heading to your favorite airline or other members only lounge for a meal. read more

Our fight was delayed 6 hours and in total at the airport for 8 hours. Not only were we exhausted for leaving early morning but we are three hours ahead from our original time back at home. The chairs in the airport aren't the most comfortable having to wait a couple hours let alone for 8. We happen to come across minute suits on maps just scooping the area for food originally. But it looked too good to pass up. Definitely exceeded our expectations. We originally booked on the other side of the airport, but luckily were able to get a room as soon as possible. They have deals for military or airport workers which was fantastic considering we stood for 4 hours. The room can be a bit tight for two with a-lot of luggage but comfortable enough for resting with a pull out. I did get some great sleep. They're clean, the staff was courteous and professional. They have snacks in a mini fridge you can pay for later. I appreciate all the little amenities, like the white noise feature, Alexa for an alarm or music and a tv. I wish they had this business at all airports. read more

All I can say is THANK GOODNESS for the minute suites! With an overnight connection but not enough time to get a hotel, this is way better than hanging out in the terminals. They charge by the hour and there no bathroom inside which is kind of a bummer. The restroom is right outside though so it's not too bad. The rooms are VERY small, only room for the bed/couch and suitcases. They give you a blanket and pillow for each person as well. There's a tv and snacks for purchase and a small alarm clock. A/C can be controlled and there's white noise. In the 4 hours we were in the suite I slept about 30 minutes, but the kiddo slept 3....bonus! It's really not comfortable for light sleepers but again, it beats the terminal. If there's more than 2 people there's a second bed that pulls out and you can sleep head to foot which is what we did. If you have American Express platinum you can get the first hour free and a discounted rate. read more

The idea is good, but the execution is bad. They have done nothing to soundproof the rooms and it is super loud. I could hear every single word of people conversing outside my suite and of airport announcements since there is a useless large gap under the door. In addition to having doors that go all the way to the floor, they should also consider an exterior door between the suites and the terminal and providing ear plugs and/or white noise machines. Sleeping on a vinyl couch is not especially comfortable and the very thin blankets do little to keep you warm. They messed up my booking and had to move me to another terminal where there was annoying, loud construction going on. Not impressed. read more

I called b/c I walked by and saw that rooms were full via a sign on the desk. Looked nice and clean, ... high end-ish. The guy on the phone said that the room he has has an issue, it was hot. I said I would pass... but come to the desk to see when a room would be open When I arrived at the desk I was greeted and he said that he'd "moved some things around" and I could stay for four hours like I wanted to. But this room was up front. I said that's fine. He set me up and I was off to nap with extra blankets as the room might run cool. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I was happy to sprawl out and snooze for a bit after flying all night. The room was clean. The pillow was floofy and well covered. The blankets were small but fluffy. There were cold drinks in the fridge and snacks on the desk top for sale. There was a smart tv and lighting options. A heater and fan, a sound machine was on and there was a Bluetooth speaker. I just flopped and snoozed. When I woke and went to sign out, I was asked how my time there was, the person was helpful and nice. He reached in a tiny fridge looking thing and handed me an individually wrapped hot towel. He asked me to have a wonderful travel experience and sent me on my way. I will be stopping in again if I'm on another extended layover at DFW. read more

I'd give Minute Suites 3-4 stars depending on the number of people in your party. As a priority pass holder, I decided to check out minute suites with 2 other people in my traveling party during our layover. Let's start with the pros of our experience: We were able to get a room as soon as we showed up, so yay for that. The room came with one pillow, no blanket(s), a TV, desk, and a chair. There was white noise constantly playing. Other than that, the room was quiet. I was able to get a little less than an hour of sleep for free, which was great considering my entire 6AM flight involved a crying baby diagonally behind me and a child constantly kicking my seat. Cons: Despite being allowed to have up to 3 people per room for free with the Priority Pass, only two of us fit on the sofa bed. Our 3rd person just sat on the chair. Also, why did we only get one pillow when we obviously had 3 people. I wish I had a blanket. The room is a bit cramped for 3 people and carry on + personal luggage, so I would probably return with only one other person max for a more comfortable stay. read more

Prices are very reasonable though - I had a Diet Coke and it was 2.5 EUR. There isn't much to this, but it's PRIVATE. Sure it's walk-in closet sized, but it's your own personal space to lie down, watch TV, work, whatever. I actually decided to change and freshen up my makeup here after a long flight. This place is both brilliant and ridiculous at the same time. You can get some sleep without leaving the airport, which is brilliant. And the shower is clean and roomy, if you decide to book one. But if you're taller than me (5'10"), you won't quite fit on the "bed." We asked the desk person if there was a place to refill our water bottles and he replied that he didn't know. Minutes later, I found a refilling station about five feet from the entrance. Did he really not know that it was there? Or was he trying to rope me into buying one of the overpriced water bottles left in our room? And what qualifies something as a "suite?" It requires a set of rooms, right? So are they referring to their entire operation, of which you get one tiny room? If so, it should be "Minute Suite," not "Minute Suites." And do they mean minute as in 60 seconds, or minute as in tiny? My wife and I split our room and needed two sheets to sleep on, but they only provided one, saying something about their dryer being broken. I wish I could have nickel and dimed them right back, the way they were trying to do with us with their overpriced beverages and snacks. Maybe we should asked them to deduct some amount from our room rate based on their deficient service. We had thought about getting two rooms, one for each of us. But I'm glad we didn't. After all, if you're going to put one pet mouse into a shoebox, would you really feel bad about putting a second one in? read more

Imagine my horror when I was denied boarding on a full flight and had to wait 12 hours overnight for the next one. Fortunately, I'm a man of contingency and had a backup plan - Minute Suites. I've stayed at a few of these places before, but now I had the Priority Pass card and it is absolutely worth getting. I ended up deciding to stay here for the rest of the night as the rate was more reasonable and the convenience of waking up within the airport terminal outdid any nearby hotel. The night clerk who I spoke to was extremely courteous and she answered all my questions and concerns, despite me sounding like a drowsy mess. Would definitely stay here again. read more

In A Nutshell: -The Minute Suites in DFW are just okay. -As a seasoned member of Priority Pass, I've been to many of their lounges/restaurants around the world and within the USA. -This inclusion of their network is a small "suite", which is more like a small walk-in closet. -They remind me of the 1 hour love hotels you will find all over Asia. -Except these have no bathroom, you need to exit the suites and use the terminal bathrooms. -There is also a 60 minute time limit (for Priority Pass members due to the arrangement w/ Minute Suites), it's $28 hour thereafter should you decide to stay longer, per Christopher G of Minute Suites). -Atleast there is a TV, small couch and plugs to recharge your devices. Thank goodness for Minute Suites and the power of the Priority Pass. When it comes to delayed flights, you bet these pseudo-lounges provide some comfort and privacy in a bustling place. Commence free hour! These suites are small but cozy. Each of the 17 rooms has a small sofa bed to rest your back on with comfortable pillows and a comforter. They include a small work desk in the room with a flat screen tv/monitor for work. What's the best part of it all? THEY'VE. GOT. NETFLIX. Yes girl- kick off your shoes, grab a bite or drink from outside to take in, and enjoy the wonders of movies at your fingertips until your delayed flight gets their ish together. I ended up watching half an episode of Black Mirror since I only got the free hour, but hey it's better than nothing. Service here was extremely friendly and they helped me get settled into my suite quickly. Though everything else such as snacks, beverages, and the shower come at an additional cost, the ability to relax in a private, clean space by yourself is well worth the visit. read more

I've been on the road since Monday; it's Friday morning. Yep, 9,000 miles and 5 days, but not home yet thanks to NYC's latest snowmageddon. Nothing worked coming thru O'hare, not their fault or NYC's. I told the ticket agent in Chicago, "Just get me to Texas." One last flight at 9:40P delayed til midnight. I finally made it to DFW terminal D at 0200. Exhausted with 9K miles of road grime and no trip to S.A. til 0715. I wandered aimlessly about 50 yards from the gate where I'd just arrived when a mirage appeared. Minute Suites? Rooms? Showers? Am I delirious from travel? I approached the counter. A very nice young lady, Kira I believe was her name, spoke. "Hi, welcome.", she said with a warm smile. At 0200. I said, "Is this real?" She assured me it was. I have a few hours. I need to rest my head. I need a shower, I've got to brush my teeth for crissake! No problem, credit card & ID; I have both. She shows me to my room which is small, but it's sparkling clean, neat as a pin, and nicely decorated for such a small space. It evokes hygge immediately--that's a Danish word, don't know if it has a meaning as much as it creates an emotion. It's cozy, it's homey, it's warm and welcoming. Then Kira shows me to the shower, same reaction. Dual shower heads, shampoos, conditioners, body washes, washcloths, towels, everything you need to clean up. So I did. I took a long, hot shower; tried to brush the enamel off my teeth; put on some fresh unmentionables then napped for the next few hours. I'm refreshed, ready to start another day of travel which will culminate with seeing my kids for the first time in months. I messed up and missed the last flight out to Richmond, next flight was 6am. I was stuck, tired and mad at myself. I came across the Minute Suites at JFK, the young woman working the desk was so kind and I started to act like an adult again. She explained how the Suites work and booked me for 6 hours. The room is small, but you're not there to square dance, you're there to nap, relax or sleep. The room was very quiet, the attendant got me a fan for my room. Post-Covid I look around and try to be very careful, the place was very clean. I did a stupid thing by missing my flight, but I found a great place to save the day, or night. read more

Yes, staying here is much better than laying on a dirty carpet in the airport waiting area or trying to sleep on a chair. It's dark, you can lie down and the white noise fan works pretty well to drown out the airport noises. However, these should be called, "pods", not suites. They are SMALL. And if you didn't pay extra for the shower option, you do not have a restroom. You use the airport restroom. The temperature is not controllable, so you are at the mercy of the airport temp. I had way too much time awaiting my flight and decided to go lounge hopping thanks to the perks of 1. traveling way to damn much 2. Credit card perks and 3. the priority pass. If you have the priority pass, you get a free hour. If your like me, you tend to forget about this "lounge". The suite offers a brief reprieve from the often cramped and crowded terminal. The area is pretty spacious. You have a small desk, tv attached to the wall, and a couch that is about 6 feet in length, so if your on the taller side you will have to bend your knees when you are laying down. There is a small pillow and nice blanket to use as well. This Minute Suites offers showers, though for an extra fee. Which, the fees can seem a bit step for some, but a work around if you can't get into a lounge and need a shower after a long haul flight. In terms of sound, the room to room sound is pretty well muffled. Where they fall short is the noise from the hallway. You can hear when people are talking or a someone decides to let their kid run screaming down the hall. They do have soda/water at the front desk for sale at a cheap price or you could just bring in your own. Overall a great place to catch a quick nap when your waiting to leave DFW. Tip: ** There are only 17 rooms, if you know what time/day you will be there, you can reserve your room ahead of time to guarantee your spot. read more

I would not recommend and do not intend to stay again even though I can get a free hour. The light switches were broken such that I couldn't turn off the lights. The thermostat didn't seem to work. The remote had residue on it. The couch was too short to lay on and I'm not that tall. read more

We had a suite for three (Alamo room), it fulfilled our needs: private space to handle a couple of conference calls and recharge. The a/c wasn't set low enough but the hall and other room temps were great. We didn't mention it as it was bearable. I made the staff aware as we checked-out and they would have clearly addressed it had we communicated. Restroom right outside which is a plus. Not a lot to say, worth it if you need it. Bring your own snacks and drinks though, pricey as expected. read more

Slow but easy check-in as there's only one person manning the shop. I stayed at a Minute Suite last night within Terminal D at DFW. I love the concept but my sofa to sleep was ripped and plasticy so uncomfortable. I was provided pillows and a blanket but no sheets. The bathroom is in the main terminal. I left voice mail messages but no one returned my call for a reservation and when I rang the bell no one answered. After asking a random person outside for directions to the Grand Hyatt (who happened to work at Minute Suites) did I receive assistance. It's a great concept but could use refreshingly. read more

Horrible service! The girl at the desk was rude and short with us. We're not allowed in because the systems are down. When asked how long the systems would be down I was not given a responce. I said I'm going to call someone this is not right. We flew all day and are exausted. I check the app and the lounge says it's open so we ride the sky train around the airport only to be turned away in a rude way. Unacceptable and unexpected! I called the number on the back of my card and complained. I hope it gets to the right people so things like this don't happen again. read more

So if you only have 4-5 hours until your next flight and don't feel safe sleeping in the airport, this is a great concept. They have very nice showers and restroom (nicer than most hotels) and I got more sleep than if I would have if I caught a cab to a hotel, etc... I was so tired and angry at American Airlines, the friendly customer service was a breath of fresh air and this safe, quiet, clean place was just what I needed. It is like sleeping on a hard sofa, but the cleanliness, safety and piece of mind was worth it. The only suggestion would be to provide sheets for the beds. read more

Small. Does a job. Wish it came with a private restroom but I realize that is an expensive thing to ask (seriously, it cost us tens of thousands of dollars to put restrooms in our office).
