The only slight issues I experienced were the prices (high, even for the airport) and the clear rush to get you in and OUT. The later is sort of understandable as the space is very small.

I confidently belly up to the bar on the ground floor, drop onto a comfortable stool and check out an impressive list of assorted brews and purview a brief spartan menu of food offerings. Quickly ordering up a pint of lager and burger from a brusque & somewhat surly barmaid. Literally moments later, the drink and food appear in front of me. Ahhhh, the culinary nightmare begins. To be candid, the hamburger was (at best) dry, tired and listless. Two thin slices of mealy tomato & a wilted lettuce leaf did their very best to put lipstick on the pig, but failed. Some secret sauce, onion, juice, cheese surely might have helped this sad sandwich's lost cause. For a quick minute I thought I was in a SNL skit... but alas, that was not the case. A remarkably hilarious supper! Sorry to report that this was a most foul marriage of meat & bun... furthermore, to add insult to injury, the beer was flat.

The beer selection is solid so if your a brew lover this would be your kind of jam. I went for their happy hour special on local beers. Cost is average but a dollar off here and there is appreciated. Overall, it was a good hangout spot with other places to visit such as a park and a waterfront to walk by.

The restaurant looks cool and its location was directly across from our new gate, D20. Our server Jeannine was very good. We ordered red beers; beer and tomato juice ($12.00) each. Jan ordered a BLTA with fries. ($20). She said the sandwich was OK, the fries very good She then said her expectations were not very high.. I ordered the breakfast burrito ($22) and it too was just OK. On top of the high food and beverage prices, you have the opportunity to pay Texas food tax, local food tax and DFW beer and wine tax. Oh well, our fingers are crossed our next flight "gets us out of Dallas".

Long layovers are only fun if you're lounge hopping or shopping around and walking around the airport. It's all fun and games until all you want to do is take a nice nap when it's well past the hours of the night and your flight is not until the next morning. It's too short of a layover to book a hotel room but also too long to be not curled up in a blanket in a private space to catch some zz's. Thanks to Priority Pass, we decided to give these guys a try and we're so happy we did. Me and my husband each had 1 hour for free so we were able to book 2 free hours of nap time! We split it up pretty evenly where we got our first couple of hours walking around the airport and moving our legs/working in our computers. And then, when it was about 2am, we went to our Minute Suite and spent 2 wonderful hours napping in quiet. What I loved about the experience is you get pillows and blankets and can really enjoy a dark, private and quiet space even with dimmable lights and white noise if you need. If you prefer to work or watch TV that's also available. Overall pretty awesome experience, the only thing is I think they were doing some work at the airport and you could hear everything so maybe having some kind of a sound proof would be awesome. The couch had a bit of a wear and tear but it's fine we just covered it up with extra blankets. All in all, amazing experience! If they provided sanitizing wipes to make you feel like it's super clean after the last guest this would be even better. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend and from now on, I'll be sure to book these especially during long overnight layovers.
