Capital One Lounge is located at the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport. It was the first Capital One Lounge that opened in 2021 and is located at Terminal D near Gate D22. If you have the Capital One Venture X or Venture X Business credit cards, you have complimentary access although they used to allow free guests too but have since taken that away. When you are close to the lounge you can put yourself on the waitlist using the Capital One app and get notified when they're ready for you. Once you walk in you will come across a beautiful space. There are seats, tables, and outlets + free wifi everywhere with the food and drinks in the middle. Out of all the food we got our favorites were the mac and cheese and short ribs. There was a full bar where they served their signature cocktails; we liked the blazing saddles and butter pecan old fashioned. There was also a worker carrying a cart of complimentary champagne and of course we took advantage of that too. Other amenities included a fitness room, relaxation room, showers, and luggage lockers. The lounge also had snacks and ready foods like sandwiches and wraps that people could take to go. The workers also gave us bags where we could hold these foods with us when we left. This was a really cool lounge and I'm glad we were able to stop by during our short layover. read more

I have been to the Capital One Lounge at least 10+ times and I will die on the Capital one is the best lounge - hill. They rotate their hot and cold dishes often. They rotate their drinks and the bartenders are friendly. They rotate their snacks and keep the ones people enjoy a lot (I am a HUGE fan of the churro cheesecake and I'm not a cheesecake person). The s'mores cookie caught me by surprise because I don't like dark chocolate but it wasn't heavy on dark chocolate at all. I got 3 of the White bean chili, chicken cassoulet, bbq brisket and grits each. Sorry I'm a glutton - they were soooo delicious. The vibes are amazing too - they actually switch up the paintings too! I fly to Dallas a handful of times a year, and on my way home, the Capital One Lounge at the Dallas airport makes the trip home a lot more comfortable. I typically get in within 5-10 minutes, but I do favor morning flights, which makes the lounge a little bit more accessible. I think the longest I've ever waited is 20 minutes. Once inside, you're greeted at the front desk and get all checked in within 2-3 minutes. With the wifi password in hand, all that's left is to find a seat. There's usually plenty, but I favor the bar-style searing near the drink dispensers. Easy access to snacks and drinks. And of course, built-in charging stations. I'll spend an hour or so there during most visits, and enjoy whatever food they have that day. I've never been disappointed in the food selection. Last time I had a breakfast sandwich and some fruit. The pastries have been fresh every time I've grabbed one. And I like to grab a carton of water to keep me hydrated on my flight. On my way back out, I stop and use the bathrooms which are always clean, spacious single-occupancy rooms. Its a lot more comfortable to have a private bathroom space to get tidied up before a flight. I do wish they had a few more bathrooms available though. There's usually a (small) queue for the handful they provide. Lastly, there's a nice attendant to give you a nice chocolate on your way back to the elevator. There's a QR code for a survey on the wrapper, so they seem committed to creating a solid feedback cycle. read more

I arrived at the airport and decided to visit the Capital One Lounge in Terminal D. The lounge is nice and roomy. They had showers and relaxation rooms. I grabbed a few bites and some snacks. The Capital One Lounge at the Dallas airport truly exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing from start to finish. Staff walked around often to clean up, refresh stations, and make sure guests had everything they needed. In the evening they even hosted a champagne hour which made the experience feel extra special. The drinks at the bar were delicious, especially the espresso martini. The bartenders really know what they are doing and everything tasted balanced and well made. One of my favorite parts was the grab and go section. If you ask for a bag, they happily give you one so you can take items with you before your flight. They offer sandwiches, wraps, yogurts, salads, trail mix, water, and other snacks. We grabbed a couple of things before heading to our gate and it was super convenient. The lounge itself is clean, spacious, and modern. They also have a small gym area along with yoga and meditation spaces. Showers and nap rooms are available with reservations which is perfect for long layovers. Overall, this is one of the best airport lounges I have been to. The combination of great service, excellent food and drinks, and all the extra amenities makes it an easy five stars. From pleasant greetings at check in to having a lounge associate help explain amenities and find an open seat, I would rank the DFW Capital One Lounge above the DFW AMEX Centurion Lounge in a heartbeat. The food was small in portion but delicately and delightfully plated - and flavors abounded! Bar staff were friendly and efficient, with just enough chats to keep it light despite the crowd. The "to go" aspect of the DFW Capital One Lounge is particularly fantastic - from salad cups to wraps, fruit to pastries, and a multitude of desserts... 10/10 recommend if you have a layover or have time to kill before your flight! read more

This is a beautiful and large lounge at DFW. They get busy and often have a waitlist which is easy to join in the Capital one app. There's tons of food offerings and it's hit or miss. I really liked the caprese salad and the miso butter and jelly sandwich. Both were really fresh and flavorful. Smoothie parfait and Mac n cheese were kind of bland and flavorless. I got an oat milk latte with vanilla and caramel and it was yummy. There's tons of drink options too. They have a treat area with trail mix type mixes which were really good for the flight. Capital One Lounge is hands down one of my favorite lounges, to the point that as someone who hates going to the airport early I look forward to if I'm in this terminal. On busy days it's easy to check the status of the lounge capacity on the capital one app which I appreciate. If you make it in, service is always very friendly and the food is spectacular. Stand outs for me are the chia seed puddings and the hot breakfast foods, which I enjoy washing down with their fresh juices or their oat latte on tap. To add even more bonus stars for a stellar experience they have a grab and go section near the from that includes water, sandwiches, and the chia pudding. Highly recommend this lounge (at any of their locations) it alone makes me okay paying the venture X card price every year . read more

Will return. This is the first of CO lounge. When we first got here a little after 11am, it was a ZOO. People are everywhere, from the entrance to the checking in counter. We left for the centurion lounge. Before boarding, we came in, because the entrance was empty. We even found a cozy corner. It's facing a runway - learnt a lot for the short few minutes that smaller jet takes off earlier - duh ha ha ha. I am really happy to be a Capital One Venture X card holder. In addition to the ability to use Capital One Lounges where available, we can use Priority Pass Lounges around the world. This Capital One Lounge is near Gate D22. At the Dallas Fort Worth airport, there's a good Skylink system so my flight is from E gates and I can still use the lounge without going through security again. This visit they had a wait and they were well organized about texting us. I had to wait only 5 minutes. Food is bite sized and a lot of variety. They encourage carry out which I think is awesome. Good service and a nice bar. My fav is the Tailwind lager. They have other local brews as well. Comfortable seating and power points. I think DFW was the first one, so it looks a bit older than the fresh look of the lounge at Washington Dulles. Of course I will be back. read more

This lounge used to be good, but it has turned into a crowded, unfriendly atmosphere. All the table spaces are reserved for parties of 3 or more and the only available spaces for 1-2 people are uncomfortable stools with no back and very close to your neighboring people. They are also getting rid of their free guest policy so you'd think they'd better serve their single and couple travelers. I will be cancelling my card due to their staff rudeness at multiple points of asking for a chair instead of a stool, especially after waiting for 45mins to get access to the lounge. read more

I'm normally a fan of Capital One lounges but the Dallas location has ruder employees and the Peloton bike has been broken for over 6 months (the seat post doesn't stick at a level so it slides all the way down). They say that they're "ordering parts" but that sounds like an excuse since it's been 6 months. Also, I used the shower once when they had a hot water issue so it ended up being a cold shower. This lounge should be better than the rest because of these additional amenities, but there are execution / service issues to contend with. read more

Had a good time again both to my destination and returning a few days later to my home airport. the takeout section is a lifesaver as you don't have to scarf down your food. Little tapas style helps with cleanliness. My only gripe continues to be the way the bathrooms are designed. If you know, you know. A nice lounge will compel you to show up extra early to the airport. I recently had the lucky opportunity of tagging along as a guest with my friend. It truly is an experience and yes, it is that nice! You can access it through terminal D after passing the duty free shops. The lounge contains no shortage of delicious food options, many of which are health-conscious. The matcha chia pudding parfait was my favorite out of all the breakfast items. They have them in to-go packages if needed. For a fiber-heavy option, the quinoa bowls have a touch of sweetness which makes it go down easy. You can't go wrong with the sausage egg sandwich, goat cheese + chutney crackers, or the buttermilk skillet either. I'm not a huge fan of the fiesta fruit cup; the (chamoy?) seasoning did not complement the fruit well. Lastly, the facilities look very nice. There are an abundance of lounge seats, but also an abundance of visitors depending on the time of day. You'll still find a place to sit, but finding a spot of your choice may prove challenging on a Sunday morning. They even have a yoga studio and a shower area... talk about going above and beyond. If you want to elevate your airport experience, this is the place to be! read more

It's a little crazy in my opinion and the normal layover time is no longer sufficient to make it to the lounge and to my gate that I often grind myself skipping this lounge instead. I had a layover in Dallas and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to finally check out the Capital One lounge! It's located at Gate D, right outside of customs if you're are flying internationally. When we entered the lounge we had to put our name on a waitlist. They estimated 15-20 minute wait but honestly we got in pretty quick within ~10 minutes. This has been by far the best lounge experience I've been to! I've been to other lounges with the priority pass which had a decent amount of food. The capital one lounge blew me away! There were lots of different meals like mango shrimp ceviche, chicken Marsala, bruschetta Mac and cheese, various salads, pastry bar, and soda and coffee on tap. My favorite dish was the mango shrimp ceviche! They consistently refilled food. They also had lots of grab and go sandwiches, salads, matcha chia pudding, smoothie bowls, and yogurt bowls. It's perfect if you want to bring food with you during your flight! We ended up grabbing a few of the smoked beef sandwiches and chicken sandwiches. My family said the sandwiches tasted fresh and delicious. There was coffee on tap that I took to go too. If I had more time, I would've liked to check out the yoga studio and other amenities they have there. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would love to come back if I'm ever flying from Dallas again! read more

I have been looking forward to checking out the Capital One Lounge in DFW. I heard great things and they live up to my expectations. If you have Capital One Venture X, you get in for free. The entrance is located near gate D21. The wait was about 15 minutes to get in. By far, this is one of the best lounge I have been to. Although, they do not have a big spread like other fancy lounge but it's efficient! I like it that the portions are smaller and served individually and not buffet style. If you like the dish, go back for second. I had this chicken marsala that was excellent. The chicken and corn dish was amazing. If I didn't just ate on the plane, I would have tried everything! What I like the most is the "to-go" section. If you don't have time to sit and eat, there are salads, mini sandwiches, parfaits and water that you can take. Since I had another 4 hour flight from Dallas to Sacramento, I grab a couple of things to eat on the plane. It was perfect! Staff was really nice and courteous. I felt very welcome. read more

The mango ceviche here is crack cocaine. I could eat pounds of it, it's that good. Sweet, spicy, savory, it hits everything just right. The service here is spectacular. They always make sure all the food options are in stock and the tables are readily cleared. The bartenders are nice but they do rate-limit you on the drinks here. Of course, everything is kept pristine and the whole place looks amazing. Honestly, the only troubling thing is the bathroom situation where there are only three bathrooms. Ok, staff was nice and explained how to get on the guest list and That I would receive a text when space was available in the lounge. I waited roughly 30 minutes with two kids. We were told to take the elevator and once there I gave my priority pass app and physical card to the hostess, only to be told we could not be seated based on a policy that is set to begin in February 2026. I was very disappointed that no staff caught this error, I wasted valuable time prior to my flight and that a policy is being enforced without proper notification. read more

I am so happy I got to visit another Capital One Lounge! My partner and I had a 2 hour layover in Dallas, so I knew we would have time to stop by. As soon as we landed, I joined the lounge waitlist on the Capital One app. It took about 20 minutes to get off the waitlist, which was thankfully the right time it took for us to get to the right terminal. I'd highly recommend joining the waitlist while en route to the lounge; tons of people were waiting outside who didn't even know there was a waitlist. The lounge was pretty great! We explored the whole thing, other than the showers since they weren't operating. We didn't order any drinks at the bar, but they had some cool options. I love that the food is buffet style but in individual servings so you can just pick up a plate and go. There is a to-go bar as well as a dessert area and a snack area. My favorite thing is that they have to-go baggies for cookies and snacks. I took a bag of the neopolitan snack mix and have been enjoying it ever since! This is one of my favorite lounges to visit. I don't think it's as big as Denver but it feels homey and nice, I'd be happy to come again. The edamame sausage succotash was nice as well as their cake. I love the variety of small item foods you can get while waiting for your flight departure. It has a bit of a Texas flair to it with brisket Mac and cheese and their Deep Ellum Blue Bonnet Cocktail. Nice and friendly staff but SUPER busy. Luckily this lounge is quite large compared to other Capital One Lounges, but I had to go on the waitlist via the C1 app. At lunch, however, the waitlist disappeared and I was able to get in immediately. First time at the lounge and we loved it. It made all the difference for me! I came in at 8PM on a Sunday, and there wasn't a wait at all. I tried to jump on the waitlist but I think you don't have to if the lounge isn't too busy. Food service there is absolutely spot on. So many choices of both hot, and cold savory foods and appetizers. AND of course, the huge selection of pastries! We grabbed some sandwiches and wraps to go as well from their grab n go portion and it was still pretty good the next day. Also not to mention, the bar and the coffee bar! This was a formative airport lounge experience for me. At first I was skeptical about airport lounges in general, but it definitely won me over. It was so handy to be able to grab sandwiches and pack bags of trail mix before setting out on an international adventure! They had great variety including soups, pasta, drinks, sandwiches, fruit, and parfaits. I was definitely experiencing travel anxiety when I first arrived at this lounge and was so worried I would feel out of place as I don't consider myself a "fancy" person, and have always mistakenly believed airport lounges were just for the fancy or the affluent. I've come to realize they are often just a neat credit card benefit for all sorts of savvy consumers. Hanging out away from the hustle and bustle of the airport actually really helped my travel anxiety, and I was in a much better mood by the end of my time in this lounge! I've only been to three airport lounges, but this was the nicest of the ones I've visited so far. I'm now such a huge fan of airport lounges and am excited to check out (and review!) other lounges around the world someday. This is a very nice and well decorated lounge within Terminal D. We came in the morning on a Sunday, and had to take the SkyLink to get here from a different terminal. To get to the lounge you have to take the elevator up. From the elevators the Capital One lounge is on the left. Staff is there to check you in and give info if needed on the amenities and the Wi-Fi. For breakfast they had a nice selection of hot foods, pastries. There's the coffee station just behind the entrance area with the water station. There's a good amount of seating and tables available, but by the time we left around 6am on a Sunday it was starting to get full. The lounge opened at 5am. If you have time before your flight, add in whatever time it takes to get here from your gate and going back, but it's a great place to have some food, drinks, and relax before being in the craziness of your gate. read more

The best lounge in DFW. It is located in Terminal D right by the escalators that lead to Skylink. Even for my non-Terminal D flights, I make sure to take the Skylink here to grab some food/drink. The hot food options, snacks, bar, baked goods, and grab & go section have great selection. Fun place to wait for your flight with a good view too. It does get very busy, so expect to be on the waitlist for some time during peak hours. Be aware that starting Feb 2026, complimentary lounge access will be for Venture X holders ONLY, meaning no more guests/authorized users can enter without either paying an additional annual fee ($125) or one-time pass ($45 for adults or $25 for kids). This should help with the crowding, especially with how generous the Venture X lounge access was (yourself + 2 guests, up to 4 free AUs and 2 guests for each of them). Unfortunately, the Priority Pass guest access was also taken away, but that's another story. read more
