The good: - plenty of seating areas - 2 separate bars with good selection The not so good: - very limited food options - seats are very close together and feels cramped without much privacy The bad: - only one restroom Service is on and off or inconsistent - overall not too friendly Worth visiting? Yes if there's no waiting and you have a long layover.

Now reading reviews post visit, I was surprised to see so many people expressing dissatisfaction…read morewith this lounge due to wait times for access, limited bathrooms, and stacked dishes at vacant tables. I can only assume many of those visits were later in the day when the airport is significantly busier, because my experience was the complete opposite. I had a little under an hour in the lounge with a flight arriving at 7:25am and departing at 8:50am. There was no line to check in and we were granted immediate access. Located in Terminal D across from Gate D12, guests must present their AMEX card and boarding pass for entry. The cardholder receives complimentary access, while additional adult guests are $50 and children are $30 each. If you spend more than $75K annually on your AMEX card, you receive two complimentary guest passes. Personally, I do not think paid guest access is worth it for a short layover, but I can definitely see the value during a longer one. The lounge itself is quite large, though maybe not large enough for a busy airport like Dallas considering the number of reviews mentioning wait times. During my visit, however, while there were plenty of people, there were still a few spare seating options available. Their lounge had a good variety of booths, dining tables, lounge chairs, workspaces, and even small private office areas for calls or meetings. The entire space felt clean and organized. The food was continuously replenished and stayed fresh throughout my visit, though nothing was particularly spectacular. It reminded me a lot of the complimentary breakfast at a Hyatt or Hilton. Still, it was absolutely appreciated after an early flight on an empty stomach. I did enjoy that they offered healthier options including fresh fruit, fresh pressed juices, and wellness shots. I also noticed staff regularly cleaning tables between guests, and the bar area seemed popular with travelers enjoying complimentary morning cocktails. The bathrooms were clean, modern, and had full privacy doors with no awkward gaps, which is an upgrade from the typical airport bathrooms. Overall, I had a good experience and would absolutely return during future travels through DFW.

Then on the way back it opens at 5:30 but is not really functional until an hour later so other than some luke warm and frankly terrible coffee, a few pieces of and some stale pastries - it's not really full service until an hour later so fresh off a red eye - we left and went to Starbucks! Ladies on the front desk were lovely but it's not the flagship that it used to be !

If you have the Capital One Venture X or Venture X Business credit cards, you have complimentary access although they used to allow free guests too but have since taken that away. When you are close to the lounge you can put yourself on the waitlist using the Capital One app and get notified when they're ready for you. Once you walk in you will come across a beautiful space. There are seats, tables, and outlets + free wifi everywhere with the food and drinks in the middle. Out of all the food we got our favorites were the mac and cheese and short ribs. There was a full bar where they served their signature cocktails; we liked the blazing saddles and butter pecan old fashioned. There was also a worker carrying a cart of complimentary champagne and of course we took advantage of that too. Other amenities included a fitness room, relaxation room, showers, and luggage lockers. The lounge also had snacks and ready foods like sandwiches and wraps that people could take to go. The workers also gave us bags where we could hold these foods with us when we left. This was a really cool lounge and I'm glad we were able to stop by during our short layover.

The s'mores cookie caught me by surprise because I don't like dark chocolate but it wasn't heavy on dark chocolate at all. I got 3 of the White bean chili, chicken cassoulet, bbq brisket and grits each. Sorry I'm a glutton - they were soooo delicious. The vibes are amazing too - they actually switch up the paintings too! Try to get a reserved seat if you can - it can get busy. I time my flights to be after 2 or before 12 because that's when the lunch rush is.

I never understood why in the world you'd want to book a suite just for a layover, like why?…read more WELL, here's why. Long layovers are only fun if you're lounge hopping or shopping around and walking around the airport. It's all fun and games until all you want to do is take a nice nap when it's well past the hours of the night and your flight is not until the next morning. It's too short of a layover to book a hotel room but also too long to be not curled up in a blanket in a private space to catch some zz's. Thanks to Priority Pass, we decided to give these guys a try and we're so happy we did. Me and my husband each had 1 hour for free so we were able to book 2 free hours of nap time! We split it up pretty evenly where we got our first couple of hours walking around the airport and moving our legs/working in our computers. And then, when it was about 2am, we went to our Minute Suite and spent 2 wonderful hours napping in quiet. What I loved about the experience is you get pillows and blankets and can really enjoy a dark, private and quiet space even with dimmable lights and white noise if you need. If you prefer to work or watch TV that's also available. Overall pretty awesome experience, the only thing is I think they were doing some work at the airport and you could hear everything so maybe having some kind of a sound proof would be awesome. The couch had a bit of a wear and tear but it's fine we just covered it up with extra blankets. All in all, amazing experience! If they provided sanitizing wipes to make you feel like it's super clean after the last guest this would be even better. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend and from now on, I'll be sure to book these especially during long overnight layovers.

On this trip we observed several people piling their stuff on chairs while meanwhile people are wandering looking for places to sit down and I don't see the staff doing anything to curb this behavior. It's 4 p.m. on Thursday right now, but the clubs seem to be packed at all times of day. Also true at LAX and to some degree in Austin. The value of membership is not what it used to be no matter how many new little food items they're adding. The whole idea is to have a relaxing, stress-free place to work or read, charge devices, and have coffee or a cocktail away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the airport. The vibe in here is not good, and not relaxing.
