This was my first time in Dallas, and en route back to Houston, we had time to kill so we went to the lounge. Surprisingly there was no wait but, it helps that this particular lounge is decently sized. We were able to find a table and grab some food. The selections weren't great but that's to be expected. They did have the ice cream station which was really cute and the bar had some great selections. The lounge was also really clean and the staff were all polite. What got me was the choice to have FOX News on. I asked the front desk if they could change the channel but apparently the station is standard and they have no control over it. Sigh. Nonetheless, the experience wasn't bad but I've experienced better Centurion lounges.

There were two food service are, one consist of your bacon, eggs, potato and sausage (make your own burrito) station with the regular cold breakfast while the back end had the cold breakfast only like yogurt, bread and butter and some fruit. We stayed at the back corner since it was too early to be around so many travelers. Got our coffee, small breakfast then used the nice bathrooms before boarding. This is a great place to start before traveling.

My layover went from 1.5 hours to 4 hours, so I had time to kill. The AA club in Term D and C are the best. I was in D today. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was really good too! It was kind of a mediterranean theme with hummus and tikka masala style chicken. The drinks were free flowing and so was the food. Can't beat the value for a day pass of $79. Go to Pappadeux and spend that with two drinks and a meal. Love the Admirals Club!

Amenities are modern, but I did feel like I had been transported back to the 80s for some strange reason. Maybe that is just the age of this terminal? As I said before, it's huge. End to end you start to wonder if you're still in fact in the lounge. You are... but there are more nooks and crannies to discover. There is seating in every direction, along with dedicated sections for office work, and the cubicles come complete with large monitors to hook into for more productivity. There are windows to the actual gates, though you might be cooler during the summer staying away from them. They have a conference room that can be booked for an additional cost. This lounge has a few food areas, most of them serving up lighter bites with a more "main" buffet near the bar offering the most. When I went there was a build your own bagel sandwich station, staffed by someone ready to cook up and assemble you a delicious sandwich to order. The bar isn't big enough to accomodate the traffic when busy, at least when I was there in the summer. There are also a lot of chokepoints where you can just get stuck waiting to move. The showers can be utilized by checking in with someone in with customer service. Getting a quick shower in before a flight definitely adds to my comfort on the flight, it's a good way to decompress. Bathrooms are large and clean, you get your own stall with an actual full length door, like at a Buc-ees. The air conditioning is nice and cold in the office section to the left, seems to get much warmer in the window area. I do not often fly AA, but this was a worthy lounge, and I certainly appreciated it while awaiting my connection.

While I'm not expecting a five star experience in an airport lounge, I am expecting something a little bit better than a rundown Vegas buffet. The food wasn't great. The vibe of the room was awful. The staff could not care less about the people there. I walked into the dining room where I was informed that flagship dining is by invitation only. I'm not quite sure what I need to do to get an invitation to the dining room but having achieved executive platinum every year by the end of June, I'm not spending any more money to get mediocre food and apathetic service. You're better off going to McDonald's.

Long layovers are only fun if you're lounge hopping or shopping around and walking around the airport. It's all fun and games until all you want to do is take a nice nap when it's well past the hours of the night and your flight is not until the next morning. It's too short of a layover to book a hotel room but also too long to be not curled up in a blanket in a private space to catch some zz's. Thanks to Priority Pass, we decided to give these guys a try and we're so happy we did. Me and my husband each had 1 hour for free so we were able to book 2 free hours of nap time! We split it up pretty evenly where we got our first couple of hours walking around the airport and moving our legs/working in our computers. And then, when it was about 2am, we went to our Minute Suite and spent 2 wonderful hours napping in quiet. What I loved about the experience is you get pillows and blankets and can really enjoy a dark, private and quiet space even with dimmable lights and white noise if you need. If you prefer to work or watch TV that's also available. Overall pretty awesome experience, the only thing is I think they were doing some work at the airport and you could hear everything so maybe having some kind of a sound proof would be awesome. The couch had a bit of a wear and tear but it's fine we just covered it up with extra blankets. All in all, amazing experience! If they provided sanitizing wipes to make you feel like it's super clean after the last guest this would be even better. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend and from now on, I'll be sure to book these especially during long overnight layovers.

Since there is a lounge in every terminal, you don't really have to go far in order to find one. A lot of people go to the flagship lounge in terminal D as they have more premium offerings, but I find that to be a bit more crowded. And this loud in terminal B is a perfect way to just relax and have a small bite to eat and maybe a drink. The views from the window aren't that great but if you need to get some work done or print some things or even have a conference in one of the many conference room rooms than this lounge is all set up for that.

No lines. - plenty of seating - it was nice and cool - there were restaurants everywhere and the lines were about as long as they were in the club... depending on how you pay for club access it's arguably cheaper too.
