Final look!

I hired Cindy to put together a backdrop and balloon garland for my babyshower. It was as absolutely amazing and I loved the design! It was a great touch for our celebration. Cindy was communicative throughout the entire planning process, fair pricing and was on time for set up and take down. I would highly recommend mint signature events for any celebration!

Beautiful setting for a bridal shower tea party!…read more The woodland room was so cute, whimsical, and fun! The room was so earthy and pretty. When my friends and I were deep in conversations, I forgot we were in a closed room and it felt like we were sitting at a table in a forest instead! We loved all the fun and pretty details in the woodland room. We loved the other rooms too and appreciate how we were able to walk through all of them, take pics, and play around! We loved all of the food and drinks that were served. We had blueberry scones, tea, lemonade, various finger sandwiches, salad, cheesecake, and sparkling cider. We were able to take home the leftover food and we had plenty to eat between the 6 of us. Denise is friendly and easy to communicate with both via email and in person. I'm so glad I reserved her woodland room for my bridal shower. She made the day feel so special and fun! I would recommend Pretty Tea Parties for anyone interested in doing an unforgettable get together! I hope to book with Denise again for future celebrations! :)

The attention to detail is impeccable, and there's plenty of parking out front. The food is high quality, from the salads and sandwiches to the desserts. The teas themselves are fairly basic, and I recommend letting them know about any allergies ahead of time otherwise they can get a bit ruffled. That said, they do offer gluten-free options, and their gluten-free scone was fabulous!

I have never hired a caterer for myself because I simply don't trust anyone else to cook for my guests - until now! This occasion was special - my wife and I were throwing our daughter an engagement party for about 70 people. Thank goodness I hired Cindy! Forget the fact there is no way I could have done this on my own for that many people anyway - but what really made the event was the fact she was beyond the ultimate professional she was a better version of me (sorry not trying to brag - just stating facts). She was incredibly prepared (and brought her daughter Ronnie who was an amazing help as well!). She knew her way around my grill as if it was her own. She brought all the right tools and gadgets to ensure every dish came out perfect - which ALL of them did! And she even took the tails off the 10 lbs of shrimp I had mistakingly ordered - in literally minutes - incredible! Everything was cooked, grilled and presented with absolute perfection. Last night was the start of something special between my family and love.cook.nourish. Cindy is now the only person I will trust going forward and is now unofficially an adopted member of our family or should I say my sister from another mother... Love.cook.nourish is hands down the best caterer for your event or party - regardless of how complex or simple, you want to make it! And if you have read this far you better get going and contact her quickly for your party because she is going to be in the highest demand as word gets out about this gem! PS - feel free to reach out to me for more specifics if you wish - always happy to share more details.

Food 5/5 Service 5/5…read moreAmbiance 5/5 Value 10/10 We came as a large group for NYE late seating and although it was raining cats and dogs outside, dinner was magical. This is our second year here and I was floored. I started off with a new cocktail for me the French 75 with vodka vs gin and my husband had bourbon neat. The lady bartender was so good, friendly and easily took care of our crowd with wonderful cocktails. The menu and the food quality is exceptional. Stephanie MA, was our server and she was friendly, met our table of 12 every need which is hard with a big group. The menu is pre fix and we couldn't been happier I started with grilled oysters topped with butter and caviar. My husband had focaccia topped with crap and prawns. I had seared scallops and my partner had the fig salad and a huge portion of filet mignon topped with crab and prawns. I had the seared duck breast and for desert chocolate lava cake for me and a lemon foam concoction. Each of the food offerings were plated beautifully and our group was happy with everything. We finished our meal and at midnight we had a champagne toast, a balloon drop and old school dj music encouraging all of us to join on the dance floor. Massimo's outdid themselves and I intend to come in for dinner throughout the year as we live close. It is without reservation,I encourage you to dine here. I'm definitely coming next year for NYE. Bravo!

We were asked if we had reservations, which we didn't. The guy says, ' no problem', then walks us through the 2/3 empty restaurant to a side room. Really didn't appreciate that, but there was a large party also sitting in the side room. The service was good, but I think our waitress may have been helping guest in the main dining room. We didn't see her nearly enough. Thankfully, the extended staff kept the water glass covered. Side note, there were a few misses between request not actually making it to the table. At the end of the day, we just reasked the busboy and continued enjoying our food. Definite communication ussues between the waitress and the bus staff. I'm pretty sure at least two of our request went to the other party. Then when paying bill, had more circle communication just trying to break a $20. We wanted to leave extra for the busboy, but he was literally scared to touch the money. ‍ At the end of the day... will try another day.... the food really was excellent.

I think the problem is that I couldn't get past the lack of a restroom in the area. They had some portables, but they are making food and we are supposed to eat it. Where are they washing their hands? This area is also pretty cold so if you go, make sure that you have a coat, scarf and hat. I'll never make that mistake again. But because of the cold, I didn't want to eat outside so our food got a cold, but it was good. My husband liked the food he got, but gluten free options are super limited. They get a third star because of the bar! Now there was only one person working there and that's fine because he could go get a snack or something and come back to pour drinks, but again. The restroom issue. Where does he wash his hands, what if he has a cold and sneezes into them, and so on. That's where my mind went. The vendors are quite nice and were helpful and weren't mean when they answered my GF questions and I appreciate that. So, this is like the little engine that could. I can see that it is a gathering spot for people and they have music and speakers which is cool. So I saw and felt a community vibe and people really seemed to like going. If I lived in the area, I may try it a bit more, but in all honestly, Oakland Museum's Off the Grid event is everything I wish this was. I'm sure that they will get there, but don't want to hang out while they figure it out.

Waited on by Jason, who was very professional, attentive and constantly checked on us without being obtrusive. Ordered the following: Seafood tower for 2 - reasonably priced, but minimal selection. Addition of crablegs would've elevated this. But we still enjoyed the lobster tail and fresh oysters. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was great too. French onion soup - simply sublime! Ceasar salad - delicious, I actually finished the entire plate despite not being a veggie eater. Sauteed mushroom - this one is OK. We prefer cremini mushrooms from Ruth's Chris. Filet mignon - cooked perfectly. Lean but still tender and juicy. Cream of spinach and asparagus perfectly complimented the steak. House cut prime rib - perfectly medium rare. Perfectly seasoned. Delicious. Was a bit chewy but this is me just nit-picking really. Au jus was piping hot! Lemon tart / Pear bread pudding - both were excellent desserts after such a rich meaty dinner. Overall had a fantastic time and would definitely come back. The only downside was perhaps our entrees took a bit long to come out. It was Mother's Day service and I think they were just a bit busy. No biggie.
