Fish fry, mish mash plate, ambience, everything was amazing! Go there to check it out!

Came back to Mint Mark for the FML - Friday martini lunch. Shared a burger and the shrimp sandwich. Loved the shrimp sandwich, reminded me of Bahn Mi. The burger was heavy but delish. Martinis are a home run!

Excited to finally get to have a meal here. We went for my daughter's birthday told them ahead of time, but they didn't say anything about it. Love the lighting, open floor plan & decor. Smoked onion dip & chips were lovely. The Mafaldine was the highlight of the meal! Spicy, nostalgic, flavorful very happy with this pasta dish. Pizza crust was a bit soggy but the flavors were delicious. Also for the pizza with a table of 5 at a shareable restaurant think the pizza should be cut for sharing. We had 4 slices and because it was soggy it was hard to cut. Skillet cookie was bubbly hot and had some good flavor. Staff were amazing!

Sat at the bar since walk in wait for brunch was roughly 30 minutes, despite this the service was still amazing. Ordered the espresso martini, short stack of pancakes, and egg in purgatory. Everything was absolutely delicious!! Love the decor and vibes. Overall 10/10!!

Great cocktails, overall the dishes are hardly any misses, paired off with a beautiful intimate dining. If you're coming with a big group, I would recommend making a reservation beforehand unless you want to be seated at countertop. Sangrita with mezcal: The mezcal makes it bit spicy. Very refreshing, slightly on the sweet side but you can still taste the alcohol. Brandy old fashioned sweet: Sweeter than the Sangrita surprisingly, very citrusy. My favorite from the two. Biscuit: I had to get this staple dish. Pretty much everyone had good reviews. I would consider this dish more as a savory dessert rather than a appetizer because this was SWEET. Great to end off a savory dinner and great to share. Cauliflower: Highly recommended and very underrated. Every single ingredient placed in this dish was well thought out. Steak and Ale Pie: Personally, I'm sensitive when it comes to savory dishes so to me the beef tasted saltier than I would have preferred. But the beef was so soft and tender. All the other toppings in the pie tasted phenomenal. The pie crust was had the right amount of crispiness and flakiness.

I was scrolling through tiktok and came across a video saying it was the best biscuit this person has ever had in their life. Of course, I had to dig in and see what she was talking about - the joint was called Mint Mark so naturally I booked a rez. It was a newer space in an apartment building and right away we really liked the vibe - midwest or Wisconsin supper club (not that I've been to many) / Frank Lloyd Wright with a good touch of Mad Men should Don Draper travel to Madison for a client wanting to advertise cheese. Our server was incredible - she was so knowledgeable about the dishes, gave good recommendations, and was super friendly. I will spare the suspense - the biscuit was amazing! All the dishes were very creative and interesting, and give the chef a lot of credit for that. Ranking our dishes from least favorite to favorite: Langos Donut Devilled Eggs Chitarra Biscuit Meatloaf The only one of those dishes I'd prob pass on if I came again would be the donut - the first few bites were good, but then I didn't love it. Other dishes - each one was excellent. For dessert, went with an interesting earl gray creme brule. Finally, I'd say Mint Mark is a great value - The dining experience you get for the $ - well worth it This is probably the joint I'd recommend to people who visit Madison

Really well done, fresh food. We got a NA Sangrita and it was delicious, super vegetal. It was our first time in and the chef was super kind and gave us a biscuit, which was insanely good. Like blew my mind. The preserved beets were so refreshing and acidic in a pleasant way, just wish there was a little more crème with it. We had the cauliflower too, which was so flavorful and we enjoyed it, but it was really, really oily. We also had the zucchini which was great but also oily. The carrots were perfect. The strawberry pizetta was also great but the dough was a little undercooked, but still really enjoyable. Ingredients were all nice quality and predominant in a way that felt like it celebrated the produce. Would come back all the time!

Had a nice meal and sat outside on a warmer evening. The patio is very nice and the service was great! The menu is fun and there is a nice variety from which to choose. We shared a handful of dishes but really enjoyed the roasted cauliflower and the grilled fish. Don't forget to end your meal with a skillet cookie!

I was seated at a high table for 10 minutes and nobody came to give me a menu or water when I decided to flip my experience around and move to the bar. Ok, I get it. It's a busy Thursday night. What would have been a 1 or 2 star review in terms of food quality, cooking style, service (at first), and value was rescued solely based on the wonderful service of my waiter/bartender, Jake. He did a phenomenal job in reading the room and noticing that I did not enjoy the overly oily cauliflower dish. His observant professionalism made up for my experience entirely. He was attentive and gave great recommendations to make up for the first two misses for me. Mint Mark is a hip spot in Madison but extremely overpriced for what it is. The menu tries to be creative but the quality of ingredients used, execution of the dishes, and overuse of oil just does not correspond to the price point they are charging. $16 for 3 pierogis and $33 for one piece of cat fish and a lemon is simply outrageous!

What an experience this was! I never made it to the old location so this was my first time ever. The space is so beautiful inside. The menu is very eclectic and it was exciting to try a slew of different dishes! I started out with a Carajillo Collin's and it was so delicious! Much better than an espresso martini. We then ordered 7 dishes to share between 4 people and this was plenty of food. The standouts were the heirloom tomatoes, langos donut, the biscuit (MUST ORDER), and the smoked onion dip. I loved the creativity of the dishes and quality of ingredients. I will be back to try more creations!

Beat meal we've had in Madison. Vegetable forward, proper cocktail stemware, reasonable and robust wine list. Highly highly recommend.

The area is very moody lighting and even has small lamps on each table. Our server and staff were great and everything came out timely. We got an old fashioned and a sangria. The sangria is strong but you won't know it until you stand up. We started with the cheese puppies and they had a fantastic pull to them. Some of the best version of cheese curds I've had in a while. My husband and I both had salads and the bowl was too small for the salad but it was a decent salad I do wish the cheese was sprinkled on top as it ended up going to the bottom of the bowl. For an entree I had steak frites. Fries were solid and the cooking of the steak was good with the charcoal but it didn't have much flavor. The chard on the side was also good considering I've never had it. For dessert we had the valentine special chocolate cake and again it was good but nothing super special. We didn't stick around the bar too long but enough to get a winning pull tab. I would come back for the bar tenders they seemed chill.

It was pretty busy at lunch time on a weekend, but luckily we were able to snag seats at the bar. The staff were very friendly and attentive, kindly offering recommendations. I loved that the menu offered both elevated takes on classic dishes in addition to a rotating seasonal menu. Eventually, we decided on the kimchi reuben and the Vindicator, which was essentially a turkey club. There was a great selection of sides to choose from as well, so we went with the wasabi green beans and seasonal lemon zucchini pasta salad. The turkey club was served on sourdough from an amazing artisan bakery down the street, and was absolutely stacked with delicious, high quality ingredients. A large slab of melted cheddar paired perfectly with a smoky chipotle aioli, which almost tasted like bacon. The reuben was also super unique- all of the flavors came together very well, and I loved the contrast of having refreshing kimchi to cut through the decadent Swiss and pastrami. The pasta salad was dangerously addictive and had the creamiest lemon Parmesan dressing. I thought the green beans were crunchy and well cooked, but didn't really taste any wasabi. We left full with leftovers, and felt that the value was great given the quality and quantity of the dishes. I would absolutely be back given the chance, and highly recommend paying a visit!

It makes me think that Madison is not a diverse food city. Differently story for a different day. IMHO, no self respecting brunch place should serve Tropicana orange juice. They should also have more specialty coffees. On this day, their waffle maker was broken. Seriously? A brunch place with one waffle maker? The server came to visit rarely and kept forgetting that we had asked for a drink. It was only when we asked the manager to get us the drink that it finally arrived. Having said all this, I will say that the building that houses this restaurant is nice. This one fact hides a lot of their shortcomings and we keep ending back here. My final comment is that if I were the chef at this place, I would not put my name on the menu, especially the pastry chef because I saw only one pastry on the menu: the cinnamon rolls. What a joke this place is!
