I am not confused at all why this business has 5 stars. I have used Mint Locker two times. Once a few years ago to get a blazer and skirt cleaned, it was an easy-peasy process. Fast forward to my 2nd time 2023. The stage is set, beach wedding ivory wedding gown. The bottom is dirty and I will be honest with you, we scouted out our wedding venue beforehand. I used my hands to climb down the cliffs to where we ended up taking our pictures, when trying to rub the dirt off my hands they were stained clay brown/red. Think Red Rock! When it came time to walk down the aisle my coordinator recommended I keep my dress bustled, um no thank you!! I wanted a train for a reason!! Which meant I knew I would need it cleaned. Returning to town I started looking in to who would be able to clean my $400 wedding dress. I didn't go all out on budget for this dress, there isn't lace or beads. I took it to a cleaners near Mint Locker(very close if you get my drift). They quoted me $150 after a phone call to their associate. I left with my dress. I decided on Mint Locker and wrote my notes in. I dropped my dress off with the easiest drop off steps ever and went on my way. I hadn't updated my payment info in years, they reached out after a day and let me know. Once I updated it, they told me my dress was ready and I picked it up!!! Here's the kicker folks, when I picked my dress up I was expecting to pay $135. That's what the website quotes, my receipt shows I paid $22 for a delicate dress!!!! As I mentioned and as you're able to see via my photos, my dress is GOREGOUS(yes, I'm patting my back on dress choice), but, it isn't couture. I gotta be honest. I just don't get it. The whole allure of not having to be serviced by real people might be the only unique thing this really has going for it. Don't let the 24/7 angle fool you, either. People or devices or processes are not waiting for you to drop off your clothes here at any given hour to get started immediately. You will still have to wait for the sporadic pickup times, the items to be sent to an actual place that will clean and press, deliver it back. My turnaround was two days, so decent turnaround regardless. Signup is clunky and takes a bit of time for the first time, but still very good with a decent app. Costs are pretty astronomical ($30 for 4 items) in comparison to 2 Brothers Cleaners ($3/piece) around the corner where you can just bite the bullet of social interaction and talk to someone AND have it within 48 hours or less. I just don't love this business model for any normal person that isn't a spy. Love the concept, but once you start weighing all the factors... it's not... great. Beware - don't expect any customer service from Mintlocker if there is a problem. I've been using the Mintlocker location on South Durango Road for a couple of years. I really like the 24/7 convenience and the easy pick up and drop off format. I only use Mintlocker to clean my dress shirts for work. When I picked up my last order, I noticed that two of my shirts had rips in the exact same location on the left sleeve. Like every cleaner I have used, to save space, dress shirts are placed on hangers and the sleeves are crossed and pinned before being covered in a plastic bag for protection. Both of these shirts were on the outside of the bundle. When I contacted Mintlocker, the first response was denying that it could have caused the damage and suggested that I ripped the shirts before I dropped them off at Mintlocker. I work in an office and surely would have noticed if I ripped two of my shirts. After another email exchange, I was instructed to return the shirts to a Mintlocker locker and they would inspect them. Not only did the shirts not get inspected, Mintlocker cleaned them and charged me for the service. In a volume business like dry cleaners, there are bound to be a few problems from time to time. I understand this and was willing to work with them to get this resolved. Rather than own the problem, they blame the customer and fail to follow through on promises. I've been a customer for years and this all could have been happily resolved with a credit to my account for the value of the shirts. Despite the convenience of their service, I probably won't be going back. Update May 30, 2024. After several email exchanges, Lauren @ Mintlocker went far beyond my expectations to make things right. Not only did she apologize for the missteps, she actually bought me two new shirts to replace the shirts that were damaged. As my damaged shirts were older, my original request was for a small credit for future laundry service. For the last four years, I have been a regular MintLocker customer. Every two weeks, I have had a large amount of clothing laundered, and I used to experience no problems. Now, however, my clothes come back just reeking to hell of chemicals. The smell seeps out of the clothes and into my home, so my entire closet smells like a hardware store. I've tried resolving this with MintLocker customer service and receive no response. Such a disaster. I will not use them again, and I no longer recommend the service to anyone. They are expensive, but you pay for convenience. But no convenience is worth being unable to wear your clothes because they smell so horrible. read more

Just visiting Vegas and I had borrowed an expensive dinner jacket from a dear friend and wouldn't you know it I get a gravy stain on the first night. This isn't the first time I've done this, either. You figure I'd learn. Check around and find out this is THE place. For starters, it's 24/7. I can fit that into my schedule. Secondly, their reputation for quality work convinced me to drive an extra 30 minutes to clean the jacket right. We got there at 10:00pm. Used a debit card to enter the locker room, and secured the jacket with a note. Did the online order and account thing and waited. I was nervous as all get-out until I received their email the next afternoon, stating we were ready to go. I don't know if it's this quick for everything or all places. I do know if you spill gravy on your best buddy's jacket, bring it here. I did everything short of a microscope on that bad boy and nary a stain can be seen. Wow! The price is a bit steep, but, I don't know if they're in line for Las Vegas or not. I don't care. To me, this is akin to an emergency plumber or dentist and therefore worth every dime. I picked up a few vintage blazers from a second hand store a few days ago and was looking to get them dry cleaned. Writing this from the car after picking up my items, and yet another outstanding experience with Mint Locker! I first discovered them after another local dry cleaning place completely ruined a unique pair of boots that I've had for years, and I had to scramble to find another pair. That wasn't fun. So when I saw all the great reviews of Mint Locker and saw that it was close to my house, I had to give them a try. They totally delivered! The experience is very cool and convenient- you download an app and put in your card info, arrive to the location, put your items in a locker, and enter the order into the app. You can even customize your preferences for cleaning. You will get a super quick confirmation email that your items have been picked up, and they are usually ready within days to a week. When the items are ready, you get an email that tells you which locker the items are in. You just show up, grab the items, and go! It's SO easy, and no interaction with staff unless you need service, for which they respond in an extremely prompt and nice manner by email or phone. Also, drop off and pickup is available 24 hrs a day, which is an amazing perk. My first order was some dry cleaning with a white rhinestone top that had been badly stained, and it came out looking like new. I was really impressed, so when I saw on the price list that they did leather cleaning, I decided to really test them out by getting some leather jackets cleaned. One suede jacket had a bad stain that multiple local dry cleaners had told me that they would never be able to get out, and I hadn't worn it in years. I was nervous about the cleaner possibly damaging my jackets, so left a note that if they couldn't clean the jacket without damaging it, please just return it. When the order took longer than a week, I called Mint Locker and a very nice woman picked up who told me exactly when my jackets would be ready. The customer service was excellent. I was SHOCKED when all the jackets came back looking clean and practically like new! Their dry cleaning services are very quick, but repairs and more detailed cleaning like shoes and jackets can take longer. If you get concerned, they actually respond to emails and calls! Now pretty confident with using Mint Locker, I just got some white boots cleaned that had been badly stained and scuffed. Again when I got them back- LIKE NEW. Their abilities to clean expensive items and materials that can be easily damaged is top notch compared to every other cleaner I've visited in Vegas. I even dropped off some pants and leggings that they fixed holes in as well. I'm now a huge Mint Locker fan- won't use any other cleaner in Vegas! Ultimately it took me over 45 mins to get them dropped off, so I could have driven to any dry cleaner in the city i the same amount of time. The price is reasonable. It was like 15 dollars for my whole suit which included a vest, jacket, and pants. The prices are on their site. They also clean laundry and bedding. As a person with Asperger's and Non24 circadian rhythm disorder, this business is a dream come true. I got ridiculously excited when I saw their sign. No human interaction! 24 hours - I can do business at 3 am! I welcome the glorious future when we get all of our goods from robots, lockers, and ATMs. The app works great and everything has been fast and easy so far. They are clear upfront about their pricing. My items were pressed well. It's nice that they provide you a bag to hold and drop off your items in. The one downside is that it costs me twice as much to dry clean through this service, compared with the more traditional two buck cleaners I was using before. However I was a bit worried on my second order as it consisted of a 100% wool blanket. I've heard stories of wool pieces getting damaged and irreplaceable. Not in this case. I haven't written a review in a year and I can tell I'm a real adult now because to celebrate this "milestone" I am doing so with a review about DRY CLEANING. I can't believe I even wear clothes that require dry cleaning. Sometimes I don't even sort my laundry at home, I live that much on the edge. I found Mint Locker on accident when I was in the complex donating clothes to Goodwill - God, this #adulting is no joke - and was about to rush to my usual dry cleaner before it closed at 7p, when lo and behold - is that a..."24/7 dry cleaner"? So like any real West Coast-er, I drove my car 20 feet to check it out. There were no people. No hissing machines. No dinging bells to signal my arrival (which takes just a swipe of your credit card for entry as you would a bank after hours). Just two rows of lockers. This was too quiet, it was like a scene in a horror movie right before a useless supporting character gets killed. The instructions are crystal clear - you find an unlocked locker and drop your clothes off. After creating an account by texting the Mint Locker number "CREATE *insert your email here*" you get a confirmation text, message back with your locker number and voila! It's now pending pickup. This is more texting with a stranger than I do with some people I meet online. I downloaded the app and loaded my credit card onto my account á la Uber and over the next 48hrs, received updates about how my order had been picked up and checked in. The app loads photos of all the clothes you dropped off, and once complete, you receive another text that it's been dropped off, with your new locker number and passcode. This is so much easier than scheduling my life around a traditional dry cleaner - much as I loved the folks there! Working unorthodox hours makes this system way more convenient. Pickup includes a free garment bag and a mint, not to mention the great quality and affordable prices! Jesus, this was six paragraphs about a dry cleaner. When I first heard of the idea behind Mint Locker, I thought it was very creative - one of those "why didn't I think of that?" ideas. However, an early review of their prices felt a bit on the higher side, though the fact that they are upfront with their prices unlike most other dry cleaning places in town is MUCH appreciated. After further review and comparison to other places, I decided the prices were decent and even great if the process works as smoothly as intended. Well - the process worked smoother than intended! Very simple, just go to the locker room (you need to swipe a credit card to get into the room), pick a locker, lock it up with your own secret code, then wait for a completion text/email. I dropped mine off on a Saturday night and it was ready Monday afternoon, faster than I expected. And the results - WOW! There were some terrible oil stains on some of the clothes (chapstick in the dryer) and they got them all out. No extra charge either, just part of the standard cleaning service. Also, the suits I had dry cleaned came back better than new. This will be our new go-to dry cleaners! read more

I recently had my first experience with Mint Locker. I decided to give it a try based on the reviews the company had on Yelp. There was a gentleman there who was picking up some drop-offs at the same time, and he kindly helped me navigate the system as I didn't know how the process worked. Unfortunately, my comforters took quite a while to return, maybe 2-3 weeks, due to a glitch in the system on letting me know the order was complete and ready to be picked up. The company made it up to me by getting my items back to me the day I called, waived the fees for me, as well as personally dropped it off at my house so I didn't have to go further out of my way. I called in a panic as it was after hours the day before my 8am departure and was told they did not meet their quality check and were being redone, which caused the delay.
