This was my first time using this automated / self-service dry cleaning. The facility was clean and well lighted. The instructions were clear, the process was effortless from bagging and drop off through the cashless payment and pickup. I appreciated the text updates throughout the process. I appreciated the website, where I can add specific cleaning details for the employees, availability to print or save the receipt as a PDF file, and store a preferred payment card. The convenience of 24/7 operation gives value to my time; prices are reasonable. Be sure to bring a mobile device for after-hours pickup, as you will need to scan the QR code on the door to receive a pin number to unlock the door (this is a nice security measure). I took my comforter there to have it cleaned and when I took it out of the bag the stuffing had shifted to the middle and was lumpy in many spots. When I showed it to the clerk, I was told that there was nothing that could be done and that I had signed a waiver, so "too bad". I've had many comforters in the past and have had them dry cleaned/laundered. This has never happened before. I visit this place on the regular, so I feel the need to brag about their clutch service. For starters, they're clean, organized, reasonably priced, convenient and always friendly. I always get my jeans altered to fit my 5'2 frame, and they've never disappointed. Reason enough, right? Another reason why I'm a regular would be their attention to detail. Yes, their cleaning and alteration detail is something to brag about but I'm talking about something a little different. My wonderful, smart but horrifically forgetful fiancé ALWAYS leaves stuff in his pockets. Not just receipts or what have you, but important documents, like, birth certificates, social security cards, pictures, keys, work ID's, his license, and, a personal fave, my debit card. Gotta love him. Every time I go to pick up his clothes, they always have a little baggy with all of the random goodies found in his pockets. Surprisingly, we've never officially lost a single item. You have to appreciate a company that not only does their job as promised, but goes out of their way to ensure you feel good about leaving your expensive clothing with them. I never write bad reviews, but I was so upset after leaving this place. I called in before I came in to check on pricing on alterations and the girl told me $6-7 over the phone and so I was reluctant to bring my pants in right away. When I came to pick them up, they told me it was double that for each pair. It would have been one thing to understand that the customer was obviously misinformed bc I was surprised on the price and even explained to them what I was told by the other employee, but they had poor customer service by automatically telling me the manager would still make me pay before even trying anything. And that I wouldn't be able to find alterations for $6-7 anywhere, but it's not like I arbitrary picked $6-7 out of no where to get a cheap hem; this is what I was informed. Then they call the employee who misinformed me to make sure, even though I already got the impression they weren't gonna do anything about it. And the employee says she doesn't remember, so of course it's her word against mine, therefore they told me they can "take the hem out" or "give me a 10% discount". She doesn't put effort into getting your name, spelling it or proouncing it properly, getting your phone number with proper are code. For my area code she put (000)and she acted almost violent the second it turned 8pm because she wanted to physically push me out of the store. This business is not run well at all. When I picked them up, I was blown away. Cost me $41.25 to pick up 9 items (1 women's blouse $7.20, 2 slacks $7 each , 5 men's dress shirts $2.85 each and 1 Polo Shirt $5.80). When I asked about the blouse being so much more than the men's dress shirts, the clerk said "yeah, they just cost more". When i asked about the high prices the clerk just said "everything has different prices, it just varies." I know what doesn't vary, me coming back to this dry cleaner. read more

I have lived in Vegas 42 years. Have always taken my dry cleaning to Al Phillips. I never, ever had any issues with Al Phillips. Always great service. However, several years ago I decided to buy items that didn't require dry cleaning. Then I found a new dry cleaner in town. I decided to try them. BIG mistake!! The first few times I used them all went well. Then there was an incident when my cleaning was not ready when I was told. Not until the next day, Monday, and I dropped my items off by 9 am on Saturday! So I stopped going there for several months. I went back again. This time the girl who took my cleaning got really flustered when I told her I wanted to pay in advance. That process took her almost 10 minutes! I recently returned for yet another visit. Again my cleaning wasn't ready when I was told, NEVER again will I return to this place! I returned to using Al Phillips for ALL my dry cleaning now. They are dependable, extremely good at what they do and their rates are reasonable as well. Oh, and their staff is always pleasant! I brought in Roman blinds I wanted cleaned. The were mounted on wood and we were told a manager needed to look at them. Drove to a different location so manager could check them out and was told if we removed the wood they could clean them. My husband disassembled them and we dropped them off with additional cleaning. I called to verify the items were ready on the day I was told they would be, and was told the Roman blinds were Not cleaned because they were damaged. No phone call, just waited until we picked up to inform us. They were not damaged, just disassembled. I am very unhappy due to the time spent trying to make sure they could be cleaned and not even a phone call to let us know they could not do the job even though they said they could. read more

First time dropping off an item for a hem and alteration at this place. It saddens me to rate a business with a bad rating. We were assisted so nicely when our item was dropped off. At the time of our pick up which was 3 days past due of the original pick up of Monday, we found out after paying for our item that the hem and alteration wasn't done. We found out before leaving the store because my husband wanted to check how the item looked like. It is just disappointing to see that after all that good service we received our item wasn't done and the person that assisted us with the check out process didn't help us nicely. We work at businesses as well that provides customer service to clients and when treating customers, especially with those that has issues and the fault is with the place you are working at you as the representative of the company should apologize on behalf of it regardless of it was your mistake or others that work there. Since I've moved back to Vegas this location is the most convenient for me but after my first visit it will no longer be my location of choice. There's always just 1 employee working and the two times I decided to come once to drop off and the other to pick up I was greeted by a new employee and she definitely hates her job. Not very pleasant to work with, very short with her words keeping the conversation to a minimum and not very knowledgeable about the Platinum Al Phillips membership bag. I wouldn't even be able to sign up for it due to the lack of knowledge she had about the program. I kid you not, the lady (i think her name was Naya?) who was at the desk was hands down the most grumpiest person i have ever met. She treated me as if i was bothering her, and everytime another customer came in she said something like shit, or wow (sarcastically, rolling eyes). Seriously the worst customer service. They do a good job with the cleaning but IMO the crappy customer service trumps the cleaning service. Dropped off a suit for my husband with an older white lady I believe to be a manager, at 8am on a weekday; the sign says if dropped off before 9am, it can be done by 6pm. We were leaving for a trip to Cali the next morning and needed the suit. Came back at 6:30pm and it wasn't done. The lady basically called me a liar saying I probably dropped it off late. There was no apology or even an explanation. Second story- I picked up on Sunday at 4:02pm; doors unlocked, and I didn't realize they closed at 4:00 (my bad). younger black lady was PISSED I was in there. She snapped "unless you are here to pick up I can't help you" to the gentleman in front of me. Then she answered a personal call and said "Sorry babe, I am still working even though we are supposed be closed and I should be on my way home". I walked out. I wasn't going to deal with her; my husband knew EXACTLY who I was referring to when I said the lady was rude and he said she is always rude. I am NEVER greeted kindly when I walk in to pick up or drop off. This place obviously doesn't train it's staff in appropriate customer service. We've only been going here less than 6 months. Disgusted with the service. I am uniformed personnel, and had always taken my uniform to this location to be cleaned. Until, I brought in a uniform that had blood stains from rendering aid to an injured individual. The store manager, denied my uniform basing it off of OSHA laws. I looked up the law and there is no law that pertains to dry cleaning. I mean afterall isn't this why people seek out a dry cleaner? When I called back regarding the issue the store manager was very rude, short, and interrupted me often not allowing me to discuss the issue appropriately. I called two other locations who stated they would take my uniform. Pretty inconsistent business. I called corporate who never returned my call regarding the complaint.
