I will not be returning to this dentist or any other mint dentistry for that fact. Today I had an appointment for 1045 and the lady did tell me that I have a 15 minute grace. I showed up two minutes after that I let her know my reasoning. Only showing up late because they told me they were running behind, I'm dealing with a lot this morning because my brother died this week, she did not offer me any condolences. She did not try to see where I was coming from only told me that I needed to reschedule my appointment which I could not do since this is a tooth emergency and obviously can't make time for it this week. I apparently was a bad patient and felt that I had offended my dentist and their aid. Dr. Alireza Hosseini and his assistant seemed to be *very* unhappy with me and even normal communication seemed like I was further inconveniencing them. So as a patient I felt like a burden to their day and felt guilty for having my 4 extractions as though they could barely tolerate my presence. I have asked for feedback to find out what I might have done to so offend them, but they have not returned my call. I just felt awful, as though I had done something wrong and I am not sure that's the normal experience for new patients. Again, I hope to hear why they found me so disdainful. But it really was so uncomfortable I now feel worse (guilty) and worry about returning for subsequent care. read more

Terrible communication with children services. Took forever to get a pediatric referral then send me to another terrible place. Try to get them to service my child but they said because they referred him out now he has to go that terrible place or find another where my child has been examen at both locations now so next place I'll have to pay. My first visit was OK although they told me that I would receive the whitening tray for free. I never received it. This is now my second visit for a root canal and to remove my wisdom tooth. I had an appointment at 11 AM at 11:20. I decided to leave because there was no communication on the wait time. I had received a text message stating that they were above schedule and I can come in earlier. I came in five minutes before my appointment and after the 20 minutes of wait time I decided to leave there was still no communication how long I would have to wait. I will not return to this dentistry. I did feel unwelcome and did not feel bad to leave. This waiting room has a sleek design which makes it esthetically appealing. Front desk staff is alert and friendly. Dental staff is also friendly and accommodating. I appreciate that they give clear instructions so that you don't feel awkward. I really love that the seats have warmers & u can listen to Pandora or watch a movie. I'm usually in and out in a decent amount of time. Now...... billing is a little different. MINT needs to stop making clients pre-pay their portion because mine has NEVER been correct. I always end up with a large refund. Just wait until the insurance pays which they always do; especially return patients in good standing. Nonetheless, I appreciate the staff explaining the recommendations & costs before any work is started. read more

I don't see why this building has so many bad reviews. I was treated well my wait time was 10 minutes. The DA and everyone treated me so well like I've been numerous of times. The DR explained every procedure that took place for me. I had got teeth cleaning and tooth extraction and they treated well. read more

Everyone was nice and all but when it came to billing I was charged for periodontal scaling and root planing when I only got light scaling ,no root cleaning.Insurance was charged 454.80. I paid 303.20 in all it was 758.00.I will never go there again. Ken C. read more

The front desk rep, X-ray tech, the dental hygienist and the doctor were not smiling or friendly, even though I was a new patient. My X-rays were done quicker than usual, which made me nervous. The doctor did an terrible job of going over my X-rays and did not explain anything to me about how she could correct my problem of a crown that fell off. She seemed afraid of me because I have a heart condition. She asked and I told her that I would get a medical clearance. The Hygienist finished cleaning my teeth in about 15 minutes! I have never had or heard of your teeth being cleaned in that short amount of time! I asked her if she was finished, and she said "yes". I was shocked! I could feel my teeth and know that she did not do a good job. I sent the office the consent to treat me and the office never called or texted me that they had received the consent. I will not return to this dentist office again. This visit was a waist of time and money. read more

I have been terrified of the dentist for 25years and about 2 months ago I came into MINT for a deep cleaning and evaluation after having not been to a dentist is several years and it's was great but after coming back in today for actual dental work I can 100% say that MINT is the absolute BEST!! I felt like I was going to have a panic attack getting started but they really helped me stay calm and relaxed and listened to how I was feeling and gave me the best experience. If i could give 0 stars i would!!!! I stopped going to this location because the last visit was very unprofessional, all the front desk girls were on the phone the whole entire time. At one point I went up to the front desk to ask where the restroom was and the girl said "hold on" and she continued texting then she looked up and said "right over there". I decided to give them a second chance because their marketing team is always texting and calling, I should've known better! I called on Monday to schedule an appt to receive a quote to remove my buttons and the girl on the phone started telling me about a discount plan that was $140, since I don't have insurance yet I told her never mind I will just call back when I have insurance. Then she proceeded to tell me that I wasn't actually paying anything for this office visit since I'm not getting any work done or X-rays or anything it'll just be to talk to the dr. She convinced me and I kept my appt. I took off work to come in this morning and the guy at the front told me I had to pay $50 for a limited exam but I told him that's not what the lady on the phone told me. He didn't care to honor what I was told over the phone. read more

Love theeeeem! now that I got that out let's get to why, the first day I went in I thought I was going to only take my X-rays for my teeth and they were going to tell me what I needed fixed and that was it, well no they did all that and some all in what 2 hours I got my chipped tooth fixed that I've been hating for years in just 30 mins and I didn't have to break the bank, there is also a plan you can get on to save money I love the dentist now that I can actually afford professional dentistry and I'm a full time mom part time child care worker lol read more

First visit was x-rays and was told about only 1 thang that needed to be done Second visit was cleaning which was suppose to be no charge . and was informed of more work that need to be done so needless to say they took up all my insurance on something that should have been no change and didn't tell me about work that need to be done and they knew about it will not go back and will tell anyone I know not to use them read more

I have enjoyed being a Mint Dentistry patient until......my last visit was this past April. I have a bridge that was installed over 25 years ago, and it needs to be replaced. I was told Mint would have to contact my insurance for pricing, and that it would take up to 30 days before they received that information. Fast forward to early June. I still had not heard from Mint so I made the call to check the status. I was informed at that time that it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks to hear back from the insurance company. Obviously, someone dropped the ball and never requested the information from the insurance company after my April appointment, and the "6 to 8 weeks" was a cover-up to buy time. We are now at 10 weeks, and I am shopping around for a new dentist before my teeth drastically shift, and create additional issues. read more

My first experience was great. My second experience with Mint located in Mesquite Texas was not one of my better experiences. I arrived at my appointment approx. 30 min. Early. My appt. was at 9 am and I arrived at 8:30 am. Once I walked in I was informed that they were in the process of contacting me to inform me that my appt would need to be rescheduled because their "pump" was down. I totally understand that it was beyond their control when equipment fails. However when I informed the receptionist that I had taken off work today and that I was in a lot of pain.She said sorry and informed me that the next closest MINT was in Garland Texas and they were closed today and that the Mockingbird location- many many miles away within the Dallas area was open and could take me. I said let me go to the car and see if I can find a local dentist who could help me today- the receptionist said ok. It surprised me the lack of her concern or interest in my situation . I had no luck finding someone today with short notice for a new patient. I called back into MINT while still in the parking lot and asked if they could at least take the xrays and let me know if my tooth was abscessed causing my pain. The receptionist said sure- and that she turned me away because her notes next to my name and appt. said I was there for another reason which would require "pumps" which were down. I stated to her that it would have been nice had she just asked before telling me to reschedule or travel to another location. So, they took the X-rays as I requested and diagnosed my issue. I'm unsure at this time if I will return or establish my denistry elsewhere. I know that as of now I can't recommend them to a friend for fear of disappointing them as well. read more
