They were in horrible condition and I ended up just simply too embarrassed to ever seek out a dentist. I consider myself lucky because I chose Dr. Gina at random from a list that my insurance covered. I don't want to imagine what could've happened had I ended somewhere else. Eeeek! Dr. Gina is so kind and sweet. She put me at ease right from the beginning and never once made me feel awkward about how horrible my teeth were. My main concerns were the cosmetics of everything whereas she was concerned with my health. To put in perspective how bad they were, I had an appt every single month from Jan-May. I actually started looking forward to my visits because her staff is so amazing. Her office does everything, from basic cleaning to extractions to braces. I eventually got a bunch of teeth pulled including all my wisdom teeth. I didn't feel a single thing during the procedure and recovered surprisingly quick. I even got my first deep cleaning done here. The other doctors are great as well, including Dr. Gina's dad, the other Dr. Williams. I ended up having to pay quite a bit out of pocket. The billing dept (Hi Danielle!) is so understanding. I was upfront with them concerning the cost and they allowed me to make monthly payments. I'm even more grateful now that I know most doctors don't do that. My bf's dentist won't do any work unless he pays up front. After all those visits, I have a great smile and loads more confidence. I would recommend Dr. Gina and her staff in a heartbeat to anyone who wants a patient and caring dental office. I only wish I still lived in Dallas so I can continue to have Dr. Gina as my dentist.

Not only is this ridiculously close to my house, but they might have the most fabulous hygienists ever! Here's the deal. I, along with many others I assume, dread the dentist. I dread it for so many reasons, but one being that most of the time it's just plain painful and uncomfortable! I can honestly say that while my last visit was not pain-free, my hygienist did everything in her control to make it as comfortable as possible, and I truly appreciate that, because it actually takes more time. Not only was she gentle, but she was sweet and made the overall visit enjoyable. As someone without dental insurance, the thought of going here did make me somewhat nervous; however, they were flexible with me on price and offered a payment plan to meet my needs. I am so grateful for that. These people care, and that means a lot.

I am home after my first crown procedure…read more Janet does a thorough job. She does great work cleaning and her effervescent personality is incredible. She is not just a fabulous personality, she also knows what she is doing, she identified that my back molar had cracked. Dr. Banks came in and confirmed the crack and the need to install a crown. I freaked out. They told me I would need to come in soon to get the crown done to avoid losing my tooth. Brenda, the office manager immediately jumped to find a time to schedule the procedure, and connect with my insurance. Of course, I was a nervous wreck with this being my first major dental work, but Patsy was so kind. Like seriously, she even held my hand. I was able to use gas to help me remain calm; Dr Banks did a wonderful job of numbing the area. And the two of them worked quickly and efficiently - the whole thing was done in under an hour. I never want to go anywhere else. The whole team is just fantastic. Part of me does not want to tell Yelp because I want this place to myself. But I also want Dr. Banks to continue to have a successful business, because he and his team are AWESOME!

It turned out to be the most traumatic and painful experience ever. The dentist had to use his assistant for leverage when pulling one of my wisdom teeth. He even had her "help" him yank on one of my teeth. I had him on one side, and her on the other, both with tools in my mouth, and pulling separate ways on the same tooth. Then when that didn't work, he proceeded to saw my tooth in half, shooting bits of tooth fragment down my throat, and then digging the rest of the tooth out. Mind you, I was wide awake for the entire experience. Afterward, my mouth hurt sooo bad, and was bleeding profusely! I was sent home with a mouth FULL of gauze (to where I couldn't even speak), and the dentist's best wishes. There was also a large loose flap of skin hanging down from the inside of my jaw that was disgusting to the touch. I couldn't eat solid food for 3 weeks, then my mouth was extremely sensitive for at least 2 weeks after that. The customer service was GREAT, but I'll never step foot in their office again. I couldn't even open my jaw past a certain point without extreme pain and discomfort for weeks. Going to get a follow-up appointment to make sure my mouth isn't permanently damaged. :(

Went to this place in 2021 for an emergency extraction. The doctor was really impatient with me and…read moreacted like she was paid per minute. Long story short: Apparently here at Bliss we are rationing the local anesthetic shots. Despite me telling her it hurt the best she could do was tell me it's because the infection and she won't do another shot. I literally had blood on my palms from digging my nails in my palm. that's how painful the extraction was. 27 years and never had dental pain in the chair until this doctor. Not to mention I told her which tooth needed to be pulled (the one that caused me to go there in the first place) but the Dr recommended to pull another tooth instead (???) And get this, guess how she does this? With words? With some sort of spread sheet explaining how the tooth that has no pain whatsoever is causing pain in another tooth? NOPE, how dare you expect decency. She asked me to open up my mouth and HIT the tooth with some sort of metal instrument. The one she wanted to pull and caused that teeth to now hurt as bad as the one I originally wanted to get pulled! I left with the same pain I had when I went in and out of pocket costs for the tooth she just pulled. She didn't prescribe anything for it either assuming she just got rid of the pain. Run. To not walk away from this place. I now know why people are afraid of dentists. You couldn't pay me to get work done here. The reviews saying they got a surprise charge is also correct. Despite them telling me I was covered I ended up having an overdue balance more than 90 days later from them with a threat of collections if not paid in full.

My wife works for SMU, and all the SMU staff in the building highly recommended the dentist's office. I needed a chipped tooth fixed and some other work. Dr. Mathew and his entire team--from Nicole at reception to April, the hygienist, and Shelly, the dental assistant--were all incredibly kind, professional, and gentle. My experience was so positive that we brought our 10-year-old daughter in, and she also loved her visit! What sets Dr. Mathew apart is his genuine care. After my daughter's tooth extraction, he personally called us that evening to check on her, which was the most authentic and caring follow-up I've ever experienced. I highly recommend Dr. Mathew Smith and his amazing team.
